Jade Curtiss (ジェイド・カーティス, Jeido Kaatisu?) or as Jade the Necromancer (ネクロマンサー・ジェイド, Nekuromansaa Jeido?) is a colonel serving in the Malkuth military and an exceptional wielder of fonic artes well known throughout Auldrant. He always seems to be smiling, or at least cheerful, regardless of the events taking place around him, giving little indication of his true thoughts on anything.
Personality-

At first, Jade is rather enigmatic. his true thoughts. He is sarcastic and witty, perhaps even to the point of cruelty. Jade has a snide, sarcastic response to even the most serious subjects, and loves to tease his companions. For instance, Jade occasionally teases Guy about his gynophobia, and will say something after Guy's phobia triggers, such as "I know you're enjoying yourself Guy, but we really must be going." The party is often unsure of whether he is being serious or not, though Jade has assured them on at least one occasion that he is "always serious". Regardless of his impish nature, the party trusts and respects Jade for his skill, intellect, and experience. He is referred to as "(the) Colonel" by Anise and Tear. This may be because they are also soldiers, or perhaps simply out of respect or admiration.

Jade's sarcastic and harsh words are often well-founded, and he uses them to express his often disapproving opinions. Other than amusement, Jade rarely shows any sign of his emotions. However, occasionally he loses his composure and his emotions burst out. The subject of fomicry in particular is a sore spot for Jade, as it reminds him of his past sins. He lashes out at Spinoza and Dist for continuing to create living replicas, firmly stating that he forbid replication of living things for important reasons. Whenever Jade's feelings betray his calm and collected mask, he quickly distances himself from them. If he is furiously yowling at a character, when another asks what is wrong, he'll quickly put on a small smile and act like nothing had occurred, which further rises suspicion among the party.

Beneath his decidedly lively exterior lies a business-like and scarily practical soldier's attitude. As Arietta lay defenseless on the ground at the Fubras River, Jade is the first to whip out his weapon- only the protests of Luke and Ion stop him from cutting her life short. Even as early as that are we given a glimpse of Jade's true nature- whereas Luke thinks it's wrong to kill an unconscious enemy, Jade feels that sparing her will simply give her another chance to come back and harm them. He never even stopped to consider the morality of such an act.

Deep inside, Jade feels guilty for all the people he has killed, especially Professor Nebilim. Perhaps because he is very adept at masking his deepest thoughts and feelings, Jade is often able to see through others when they try to hide things. He had deduced Guy's true identity before anyone else, and is the only one who seems suspicious of Anise's off behavior at Mt. Zaleho. Despite often being able to see the secrets of others, Jade does not reveal their secrets until the time is right. This is apparent near the end of the game, when Luke's health is deteriorating. Because of his knowledge on the adverse effects that fomicry creates, Jade is concerned with Luke's health and well-being, which the party is not fully aware of until near the very end of the game.

Throughout the game, Jade always seems to be several steps ahead of the rest of the party. He hardly ever appears shocked, and always has a complex and lengthy explanation behind many of the events that stun the party. He appears to enjoy pushing the group in the right direction, letting them think they are filling in the gaps of what they experienced, when he might have discovered the answer long before the question appeared.

Class: Seventh Fonist+Millitary Healer, Master of Seven Double Pointed staffs (One for each type of Fonon).
Fighting Stratigy: Defensive. Balances Jade Curtiss out so perfectly.
Lotus's maiden name is Snow-Heart, her family is neither a Kimlascan, Malkuth or Daath citizen and are the descendents of one of Yulia Jue's followers. She left home around the age of seven to be with Jade while growing up, teaching him the ways of the spear and rooting herself deep into his life. At the age of 15, she returned home with Jade for her Comeing of Age Ceremony, to find her family slaughtered, and Jade stopped her from from running off and getting herself killed. She knows it was by the hand of Daath that killed her family, joined the Millitary Acadamy with Jade and became his partner in battles, defending Jade. Jade proposed to her (she, at the age of 18 ), only to realize that he was in love with her reselience to stay by his side, she had a small wedding with a handful of people to whitness the account. Thus, since, she has been kept the Top-Secreat of the Malkuth Millitary, with four children and growing.

Bio- Luke was kidnapped at an early age by an enemy empire, which just happened to traumatize him dramatically to the point of him losing his memory. Along with amnesia, Luke reguraly experienced headaches. Afraid that the event would happen again, Duke Fabre confined Luke to the manor, forbidding him to leave until he became of age. The result was a the breeding of a naturally stuck up, selfish, and arrogant red head. However, after a journey of self realization Luke changed himself for the better with the help of all of his friends.

It has been two years since then and Luke now has an important position as Viscount and future Duke of Kimlasca Lanvaldear. However, his headaches have started to return and the environment around him seems to react with his body as well. It was only 3 months after the headaches returned until Luke collapsed from the pain of an immense force within his head. When he woke up he had no recollection of where he was. He did remember however that he had been trapped in the manor all his life and had never had a true friend before.

Personality- Stubborn, Arrogant, Selfish, and Ignorant on the outside but actually caring and compassionate on the inside; when he decides to show it.

Jade shook his head as he carefully stood up with the wind pushing against his face. '...Lotus?..' He said to himself as he looked beside him and behind him. ' What is this place.. no buildings or trees in sight..' He thought seeing nothing but him. Jade knew he couldnt stay in one place so he walked onward towards some mountain he seen. " Lotus!!!" He yelled hoping to find his wife.

Jade kept going still seeing nothing. He stoped at his path with a big sigh and frown across his face. ' God... when will this ever end..' He said as the wind died down. He did remember his Fonic arte witch can be seen from afar so he stood in his stance and did indignation.

Jade waited hoping he would see if anyone will find him. He knew it didnt so he turned to try a different direction the direction towards Lotus. Jade walked mumbling to himself as he did a fist in his hands. He wanted to find his wife but images came through here and there thinking she was dead or hurt by a monster or something else awful. '....this place is nothing but dust and nothing else..' he said as he closed his eyes keeping his pace.
