First, I'd like to thank all of you for allowing me to join the "Gaia Anti-Nazi Guild." As part of the guild, I share your anti-racist sentiments as well as your opposition to the ideology rooted in the ideas of racism, racial purity, and segregation that is National Socialism.
My name is Brad, apparently. I'm an 18 year old high school graduate. I will be attending community college this fall. I consider myself to be a mildly liberal Fascist and hope that through Q&A (as well as my short rants), that you all can obtain a better understanding of Fascism, my personal beliefs, and the core differences between Fascism and Nazism.
Please use this thread to ask thought-provoking questions as well as clear up any myths or fallacies revolving Fascism and/or its relationship to National Socialism.
I am always up for a mature debate. This does not open the doors for hateful replies and flaming.

What is Fascism?
We believe in most all of the qualities that National Socialists believe. Honor, dignity, honesty are all values that we Fascists uphold and we share these strongly with the National Socialist party. We believe in a strong, central unitary form of government (sometimes a dictator but can also be a council).
One major difference between National Socialism and Fascism is that unlike the Nazis, we do not believe in the idea of racial superiority, racial segregation, or racism of any kind. Like America today, Italy in the 30s (under Mussolini) was a melting pot of culture, and just like America today it was impractical to attempt to form a "superior" and pure race when no such thing existed.
We're about as close as you can get to National Socialist without all the racist baggage. Read the following website for a brief but thorough overview:

Why is it that racists are often times referred to as "fascist pigs"?
Great question! And it's one I ask myself on a daily basis. The best answer I can come up with is the following:
National Socialists are Fascists. Fascists are not necessarily National Socialists. Think of Nazis as a more specialized and focused version of Fascism.
Example: Punk is a form of Rock, but not all Rock is Punk.
Back in the 30s and 40s, atleast to the Americans (since the Nazis and Fascist Italians/Spaniards were allies), the idea of Nazis and Fascists were synonymous. To an American, they were the same thing since they were BOTH the enemy.
Allied propaganda at the time, bundled the Axis powers together as the "Fascists pigs". The idea of Fascists being racist comes from the raping of the term. Since the Nazis were racists and the Fascists were allied with them, and since the Nazis themselves were Fascists (in a way), the term just stuck.
