[Rules]
1. No bumping, spamming, or super long quotation posts.
2. No bashing, making fun of or criticizing other Role players style of posting
3. If you are going to talk about something other than the RP with in your posts make sure you have () surrounding the out of character sentence for example: Karn jumps over the log (The weather is lovely outside right now)
4. In order to have participate you must have a character sheet filled out and submitted (Details can be found on the post marked "[Character sheet]")
5. No god-mode, or instant killing, etc
6. Please refer to the dice rules when using a Skill (This also applies to weapon skills as well)
Rules are subject to change. if any of the rules are unclear or you have questions about them please PM me.
[Dice Rules]
All dice rolls will use a D100 (100 sided Dice)
When your character performs and action such as picking a locked door, it is not impossible for a character who does not have that specific skill. I decided to make the rolls petty straight forward. there are various difficulties depending on how difficult the action is for example.
Karn does not have lock-pick. He's trying to open a simple locked cabinet this is an easy difficulty he'd need to roll a 20 or higher to successfully pick this lock. If he has the lock pick skill he adds 10 to what ever he rolls, Lets say he rolls a 15. but because he has the skill he is able to open it

[Story]
It's been 200 years since the China and the U.S.A went to war, and it's been 200 years since the world ended, the last ditch effort to save what was left of humanity was fallout shelters. the government felt that it was necessarily to have it's most important leaders safe when the bombs fell, some of those shelters fell pray to madness. others have survived the years, and others fell apart to do disrepair.
Those who remained on the surface when the bombs fell, were either vaporized or mutated into other creatures, some are violent, crazy or just plain ugly.
You have been chosen among others to disembark from your fallout shelter after 200 years and the radiation levels have become safe once more to attempt to either claim the wasteland for power, glory, or even to make your mark on history what ever the reason. Welcome to the Western Wasteland

Oregon-(I found an old atlas of my moms that's from around the 1950s so I'm gonna see if i can't scan the images and use them as a map for us. I will edit the image in photo shop to add the "New" town locations that have been rebuild since the bombs fell.)

[World back lore]
Tensions between the U.S and China become raging when, the U.S's debt to China became to great and China wanted the debt to be paid. The U.S in its arrogance thought rather than paying what it owed, it would simply fix it's problem by wiping China off the map, this back fired when a Chinese spy leaked the information back to the Chinese command, China nuked the U.S and the U.S in-case of a nuke-clear attack had fail safes to nuke every country it had weapons fire at Russia, China, and North Korea. This of course sparked the Atomic War leading to the destruction of 95% of the entire world.

You among others have been raised your entire lives in the fallout shelters as have your parents, and grandparents. You know nothing of the wasteland, only the florescent lights of the shelter, you grew up following orders of a man corrupt with power who went mad and killed your family because he believed them to be conspiring against him.

New Olympia, promise land of the remnants of Washington, this is where you all find yourself, some of you from far lands as far as the D.C. area. But for all sorts of reasons you have ended up hear. It's a Fairly large wasteland town, It houses nearly 79 people mostly farmers and scavengers trying to sell or trade old world tech to travelers and the farmers who live there. It was a nice place to stop if you were coming from Nevada or California a lot of NCR would stay there when they got their leave papers they were the only place in the area that had soil untouched by radiation, it was also the only place you could get a sip of alcohol till you got to New Vegas
Cadget walked into the bar and ordered some water and some corn, she sat in a booth in the corner where she could see keep an eye on people as they came in, she pulled a book an old book out of her bag and began to read while she awaited "potential partners" to enter

Kris walked into the bar, glancing around she saw all kinds of people. She walked over to the bar. She ordered a water, and an apple, and bread. when the bar tender stared at her she glared at him before getting out one of her knives to clean her finger nails. he soon ran away. Kris chuckled slightly, her ed eyes made people wary. It was a somthing wrong with her DNA, her guess some of the radiation seeped into her bunker, it would explian all the crazy people.

Cadget watched the influence of the girl who'd scared off the bar-tender, she had a presence about her, Cadget pretended to read her book but watched the girl closely, Cadget knew that people in the wasteland couldn't be trusted, she had come from the New Vegas area after all. she began to wonder if the girl who'd just scared off the bar-tender may be the kinda person she's looking for.

Dry cracked earth, sparse vegetation, a sky burnt a rusty orange that seemed to radiate it's relentless light for miles across this wasteland. It was harsh, but it was freedom.
Lace swept her long red hair out from her eyes and calculated the scene that lay before her. This is the largest single piece of living civilization that she had seen since starting her journey on her own about half a year ago, give or take. What's more is that the people in the town seemed to be fairly civilized - as in, not shooting people on site to get the possible supplies on their corpse.
Lace sighed and stood up from where she was crouching behind a rather large rock to analyze the town before she went down there. She had no choice. If she wanted to move on, she had to get supplies from this town. Since the wasteland easily stretched miles between each town, her supplies wouldn't last until the next one.
Sighing again, Lace put her 9MM in it's holster, though she made sure it was within easy reach to draw out. You never knew what could happen here in a town in this wasteland....
So she wouldn't be shot walking towards the town, she waved her empty hands at the nearly concealed sniper on the roof of one of the partially destroyed houses on the outskirts of the town. From the looks of it, there was probably a minimum of four people on guard duty constantly.
Once Lace arrived in town, she went to the first place she knew she's find supplies: The bar. Not only would she be able to get food and hopefully pure water, but she could hear news of the dangers of what lay ahead.
As she walked in, Lace glanced around and summed up the people there. It seemed fairly busy this time of day with people scattered around. There was a group of men sitting around the center of the bar in a table and talking animatedly as a pale blush from the alcohol spread across their cheeks, and a handful of people sitting alone around the bar. A few seemed to be wanderers like herself.
The young woman strode to the bar and took an end seat, a few seats away from a woman who seemed to have a presence to intimidate people who weren't ready to handle themselves in a fight. "Bartender, can i get some water and whatever you've got that can pass for food around here?"

"The Kinda food you wont find with out at least a days travel." the bartender replied to the young lady. "I'll assume you'll have the same thing every other wanderer does when they come into town, Water, a bunk, and something to eat. if your tastes are for meat it will cost you, but we got more than enough vegetation to sell them for cheap, which will it be?"
Cadget, watched the new comer as she spoke with the bartender, it was quite easy since she took seat next to the girl had just recently frightened the bartender. Cadget was approached by one of the waitresses "Can I get you anything else young man?" the waitress asked.
Cadget was often mistaken for a boy, sometimes she didn't really mind that much, it kept perverts at a distance. "No thank you." She replied, immediately the waitress realized the mistake. "I'm sorry, dear I..."
Cadget stopped her holding a finger to her lips. "It's alright, I will call on you if i need you thanks."
as the waitress walked away, Cadget went back to observing the two at the bar.

"Cheap sounds good to me" Lace replied as she counted out the estimated amount it would cost her and set it on the bar in front of her.
To look as if she was doing something while she waited, Lace unsheathed her knife and began messing with it and staring at its edge to examine its sharpness. The blade itself shone with a keen to show it could be a force to be reckoned with. The metal reflected like a mirror, which is the real reason why Lace had gotten it out as she waited. With this, Lace could keep an eye on everyone behind her in the bar.
"Say, comrade," Lace addressed the bartender by, "Has there been any trouble around here, or is it safe for a wanderer to pass through?"
As she spoke, her knife moved in her hands slowly, but seemed to revolve in a random pattern. The reflection went across a person in the corner who seemed to be staring in this direction as if they were sizing something up.
'A boy... no, she's a woman by her feminine figure. Wonder what she wants'
Lace kept on staring at her knife as if the task took up all her concentration, though she didn't let on that she had noticed that she was being watched, as she waited for the bartender's reply and her order of food

Kris watched as a woman took a seat a few stools down. As she pulled out a knife she shock her head chuckling. After a minute she leaned over and said "You know its not nice to spy on people. If your gonna do it try to use a newer trick then the mirrior knife." Kris said with a small grin, her red eyes gleaming with amusement, before going back to her own food. Kris used her own knife to cut the apple into slices, popping a piece into her mouth. "Nice knife though where did you get it?" kris asked. She had many knives on her person but she was always looking for new ones.

The bartender fetched Lace's food for her and replied "There have been some trouble brewing between two neighboring towns. Spartanus, and New Olympia. I can't say what the cause is so i suggest staying away from their borders if you don't want to be killed." he said to answer her question.
Cadget set her book down on the table, and approached the two ladies at the bar. "You two should know better judging from your observational skills, that it's not a good idea to brandish a weapon in a public area." she smiled and pulled up a chair. "However, it seems to me that you two have what few others around here posses which is why I'm here. I have an offer. If you don't wish to hear it i will go back to my book and pretend we never spoke."
