This year I'm trying to broaden my horizons in books, movies, and music. Anyone have recommendations for me?
I'm not big on romance (surprise, surprise, right?) as a general rule, though I'm generally fine with Young Adult romances, since they don't get (as) graphic. I love fantasy novels and movies. And as far as music goes... I don't like most country music or rap music, but everything else is cool--I enjoy some pretty random, eclectic, and weird stuff.

My favorite band is Poets of the Fall. I'd recommend them :3 They're from Finland, and they're pretty unique in my opinion.
Ask for movies... Starship Troopers is my favorite... and also Chaindance.
