"I already said I was sorry-" chided the teenage boy as he disappeared in time to dodge a burst of fire, which smashed into the black stone wall behind him. He glanced back, whistling at the size of the burn marks, before retreating away from another fireball. "Damnit, stop moving!!" shouted his attacker, yet another fireball forming in the space between her hands. The brown haired boy smirked at her angry outbursts, and appeared in the air in front of her, smiling at her childishly. "Maybe you shouldn't have been an Ice Mazoku; you really lack the temperment for it, sis." he said cheerfully before adding, "I don't see why you're getting so angry about it, anyway. It's not like I did anything..."
"You peeked into my room while I was changing~!" "Hey, I knocked. It's not my fault you didn't have the common sense to answer and warn me." "I'd just gotten out of the bath! How was I supposed to hear your wussy tapping from in there?! I can barely hear it when I'm next to the door!" "Then you need to get you hearing checked, Sherra-chan." Nast retorted, relishing in the angry pout that had now appeared on his younger sister's face. "Too bad you still had your towel though. That would have made all this abuse more worth it." As expected, Sherra's sea green eyes seemed to glow red like her cheeks as she glared at him in indignation and embarrassment. "BURST RONDO!!" Nast didn't have nearly enough time to dodge this time, and took the spell face first. The young general glared at his burnt and twitching body before disappearing from the hall in a cerulean blur.
She reappeared in the forests south of the castle, a good distance away from her stupid perverted brother. Any creatures close enough to sense her presence scattered long before she passed by, hiding beneath brush and down in holes; all praying that they wouldn't be found and suffer her wrath. Not that she would be paying attention to any of that; her thoughts were completely focused on how she was going to torture Nast once she returned. He was still alive, sadly. There was no way a simple Burst Rondo would kill him.
Damn that stupid pervert. He can't go one day without harassing me.... she thought angrily, kicking an unfortunate rock into a tree trunk with shattering force. She could only take so much of his perverted quirks. It wasn't like he liked her or anything; they were basically siblings. And she was already with Xellos. No; it was just that she was a fun victim and he enjoyed setting her off.
There was a brief shuffling from the trees above her, and Sherra stopped mid-step, not bothering to look above her. She'd sensed someone nearby. The last person she wanted to see right now. Baka-neko she snapped mentally before stalking off, hoping to create some distance between them. She wasn't thinking about where she was going. Otherwise, she wouldn't have wandered into demon territory. It wouldn't have mattered normally, but since the monsters and demons were in the middle of war, it was a rather stupid move on her part. There was movement to the side of her, and she narrowly evaded a burst of electricity. It collided with a tree, which immediately took flame. Before she could react, the demon lunged forward, catching her off guard and struck at her arm with a jagged, sickle like blade. Sherra cringed as it tore through her sleeve, grazing her skin. The shock finally wore off and she drew out her the air was filled with shrill ringing and sparks flew as metal clashed against metal. With a swift spin of the wrist, Sherra wrenched the blade out of her opponent's hands, nearly snapping his arm in the process. By then, however, more demons had joined in, hoping to get the glory of having taken down the intruding monster.
Had Xellos been with her, this would have been easy. But on her own, this was way too many demons for her to defeat single-handed. It took all of her concentration to block their attacks; there was no way she would be able to go offensive as well. The same aura from before appeared in the trees nearby, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw a burst of black energy smash through a large number of her attackers. The monster grit her teeth in attempt to hold back a growl as she swung her blade, slicing through her opponent's neck. "I don't need your damn help!!" she snapped angrily. Even if it was too much for her to handle, there was no way she was going to accept help from a demon. She was so focused on what she was doing, that she didn't even realize that there were more demons nearby that she couldn't see, one of whom had been preparing a spell throughout the course of the battle. He shouted the last few words in a language that Sherra didn't recognize, and the burst of greenish colored light shot towards her. There wasn't enough time to put up a barrier, and Sherra could only stare wide eyed as she was suddenly, and rather roughly shoved to the ground. A small grunt escaped her lips as her head collided with a rock, and she looked up in time to see a black form slide across the dirt, stopping at the bottom of a shallow hole. This was obviously not part of their plan, for the demons exchanged a rather nervous glance before they all vanished from sight.
Sherra slowly pulled herself back onto her feet, and then ran towards the hole. "Leviathan!?" she called out as she slid down the side and into the bottom, rushing over to where he was lying. He was partially hidden beneath a pile of dirt and rocks, and it took her a moment to unearth him; wondering if he was going to be dead when she finally got him out. But once she got him out, she noticed something rather...odd. His clothes, were a bit baggier than she would have expected. Now curious, she tentatively turned him over, and her eyes widened in shock. Instead of the face of a 18 year old cat demon, she found herself instead looking at that of a small child no older than seven.
What the--you've got to be kidding... Unable to help herself, she nervously reached out a hand towards him, lightly poking his cheek. "Leviathan?" she asked, not fully believing that it was actually the same demon she knew and had come to dislike.

[[ bad post. xD]]
What happened? Everything had gone white, and now a dizzy feeling washed over him, he was lucky not to get knocked out. He couldn't remember what was before that -- it was all a blur.
Leviathan curled his now tiny hand around one of Sherra's fingers, slowly grasping hold of her whole hand. He rose his head to look at her in pure curiosity, and when she said his name, he tilted his head, recognizing it well. He couldn't remember much of what happened, so he was unsure of what to say; he took a big blow to his head, how was he to remember?
"Mama, I have a headache." He whined childishly, clinging to her arm. It was an action a kid would make, but he was turned into one. And so "mama" just was stuck to his brain, he couldn't remember "Sherra". It was hard to say.

She just stared down at the now child demon, with a rather dumb look on her face. How the heck was she supposed to react to that? He'd just called her mama. That wasn't normal...none of this was! A small part of her wanted to treat the demon like normal and smack his hand away and scold him for calling her something so ridiculous. Just to give herself a small sense that the world hadn't gone insane. After all, she hated the guy. They'd only met each other once or twice, not much more, and he had already proven to be a pain. This all just had to be a residual effect from the spell. Maybe Levi was just calling her that to mess with her head so he could have something to tease her about. That sounded like something he would do.
She opened her mouth to do just that, before closing it again when she saw the look on his face. He wasn't really faking, was he? She'd never seen the demon look like that. Of course, she'd never seen him under five feet before either, let alone three. "Well...you did get banged on the head pretty hard..." she answered, appalled that she actually sounded sympathetic towards him. But it was too late to turn back now, and so she placed her free hand a few inches above his head. After a second it was surrounded by a faint white glow, which then migrated to surround the little boy's body. "That should dull some of the pain...." she said, not sure how much of magic he would understand at this point.
"Are you hurt anywhere else, Leviathan?" she asked after a moment, hoping to buy herself a bit of time. What the hell was she supposed to do? He'd been turned into an apparently clingly pipsqueak. She couldn't just leave him out here. Who knows what kind of trouble he could get into. And....this had almost been her. If he hadn't gotten in the way...she'd be the one shrunk. So, as much as she disliked it, she owed him. Taking him back to his home was out of the question; the other demons had abandoned him. They'd left without even thinking to check and see if they had killed their comrade or not. And she would just be captured and tortured if she went anywhere near there, good Samaritan or not. Which only meant that he had to go with her: until the spell could be reversed.

Oh, you and me, we're the {{ s a m e }}Asking for more than the numbing existence offered us allWhat did they say? What did they do? To make you crawl back in Despite everything that you've been through You're still right where I left you We can lift up our hands to the sky Find all of those strings that they're pulling and keep from falling back Into our old rhythmic poses Turning us into machines And one of these days we'll no longer betray ourselves in any way we won't all look the same way down And one of these days we'll no longer betray ourselves and we'll all take the same way out Leviathan smiled when Sherra stared down out him and spoke, happiness filling him at the moment of attention. He hugged the general tightly in this bliss, before laughing. He didn't sense Sherra's awkward feelings right now; his senses were messed with because of all this, there was nothing he could do to "act normal". He thought silently to himself as Sherra was thinking of healing him, his ears twitching at any sound around them as he did so -- even as a child he had to be alert, "Mama" Sherra could get hurt protecting him if he didn't do anything to help. But what would he do? He couldn't really think of much of a fighting style that he could do in this state. Most weapons would almost be too big for him, and he had his claws still, but that included being close up; and being a child at this time, that didn't sound very safe, which meant no fun.
"Mnn... no mama, just a headache." The neko confirmed, feeling his own hair. It seemed longer than usual now that he'd shrunk. His body still hurt a bit from the fall before, but he didn't say anything about it; even as a kid he was stubborn. He didn't want to make Sherra use too many healing spells, after all, it wasn't her thing, right? Which meant it would take up more energy than others. The pain had faded from his head as the light in Sherra's hands dimmed, but it didn't make him really, well, happy. It was hurting Sherra instead. This... makes no sense. Leviathan thought, as he pondered about the whole situation, he knew it wasn't right, he wasn't a kid, but he was stuck in the conscience of one. He was thinking like one, acting like one... it was basically showing the innocent, childish Levi from many years ago, it wasn't his choice. In reality, it was almost embarrassing to him.
He was distracted as a butterfly flew by, much like a cat, Leviathan tried to leap for it, but it flew quickly between the space of his fingers, frantically getting away before he could contemplate on any other ways to get to it. "Aww..." He complained, ears drooping in sadness of it all.

She gave a small noise of discontent as she rubbed her head, already feeling the effects of what she had done. Like Levi had thought, magic really wasn't her forte. She usually left that to Dee. So instead of actually healing him she had instead transferred the pain onto herself. It probably wasn't the smartest move on her part, but at least she wouldn't have to deal with a whiny and clingy kid. She wasn't all that thrilled that he had latched onto her so tightly. It was weird since she knew the real Levi.
While she was thinking about this, the neko had let go, and tried to pounce on a butterfly. It had proven to be too fast for him, and fluttered hurriedly into the forest; leaving behind a rather disappointed cat. Sherra couldn't help but smile at the boy in sympathy, and reached out to lightly pat him on the head. "It's alright, Leviathan." she said comfortingly. "There will be other butterflies." It was strange to her, but she actually found his behavior rather cute. It had never even occurred to her that Leviathan could behave this way. She let out a small sigh as she got back onto her feet, dusting off her uniform before turning back to the demon.
"We need to get going, Leviathan. It's not wise to linger out here for long." she said, holding out a hand towards the neko to help him up. She could tell already that they would have to find new clothes for him as well. His shirt was now basically a knee length dress. That would suffice for taking him to the castle, but he couldn't stay that way.

Leviathan's shoulders sagged in shame that he had not caught the butterfly, but at the feel of Sherra's comforting pat on the head, he rose his gaze and seemed to forget all about what he'd failed to do; he looked to her and gave a goofy smile, laughing once again. His childishness returned, more so than before. "But where are we going now?" He asked Sherra, wondering about the different places the could go. "If we can't be here-- wait... why can't we be here?" He flicked his tail, but then noticed it was very uncomfortable to do so with the clothes he was wearing. He gazed down at his now baggy black shirt, almost a dress. It looked girly now. He scowled at these thoughts. I wont have to stay in this for too long... i hope. He was going to go crazy if he had to. He was like a girl now, his hair seemed longer than usual, almost shoulder-length, and now he noticed he was stuck with this oversized shirt too. Too feminine to him. "I want new clothes..." He mumbled, pulling at one of the sleeves of his shirt. They came over his arms, being much too long for his ... now small size.

"If we stay here too much longer, we will likely be attacked. And all that rucus from the battle before probably already attracted their attention. So we're going to the castle where I live." She really hoped he wouldn't ask too many questions. There was only so much she could reveal without getting in trouble. Especially since he was still one of the enemy; just a shrunken one.
It was then that he complained about his clothes, and she couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face. It was just too funny to her. "Don't worry; I'm sure Dee can find you something more appropriate to wear. She likes making clothes anyway, so I doubt she'll complain." It also took her off the mannequin seat, which was a plus for Sherra. She couldn't take having to always be the one to try on the latest of her sister's creations. She also knew why her sister wanted her to, and that didn't help matters much. "So, are you ready to go?"

Leviathan blinked in confusion, but nodded his head anyway, "A castle..." He heard about castles a lot; he wondered what one would look like. "And who's Dee? " He was confused, really confused. Parts of everything was all blurred because he took such a big blow to the head before.
well, she must be girly if she makes clothes... Leviathan concluded, still thinking to himself. He snapped out of it when Sherra questioned if he was ready to go. Levi smiled, "Uh huh, ok~" He agreed.

The change from the summery forests to the numbing icy mountains had been too quick, even for Sherra. A small shiver ran through her, but it was only brief. After all, she specialized in the element of Ice. She was used to this type of weather. Those foreign ailments of frostbite and hypothermia meant nothing to her. She could stay out here for days on end in nothing but a swimsuit, and suffer no drawbacks.
Then belatedly, she realized that Leviathan wasn't nearly as well equipped as she was. Sherra glanced over somewhat guiltily to look at the neko, only to find that he was indeed shivering. And rather violently. But whether it was only due to his lack of proper clothing or not was unknown to her. Without a word, she quickly undid the metal clasp of her coat and slid it off her body before tucking it around the small boy, hoping to at least protect him from the icy wind.
"Is that any better?" she asked, not sure how cold the boy actually was. The most she could probably do would be to carry him into the castle, and she didn't particularly want to do that. Cute kid or not, this was still the same Leviathan who had on numerous occasions annoyed her more than Nast.
The only benefit was that the castle wasn't too far away. She'd managed to teleport them into the courtyard, so they wouldn't have to trek up the normal rocky path to the front gates. That had probably been a smart decision on her part. If he was already this cold, then a mile hike wouldn't have been the best alternative.

Leviathan shivered at the sudden change of climate. His ears became flat to his head, and he crossed his arms in attempt to conserve his body heat. He didn't notice for quite a white that Sherra placed her coat around him, but when he did, he bowed his head in thanks. "It's a lot better. " He couldn't feel the cold too much anyway, his body was already numb. It was probably a bad thing, considering that it probably meant he'd be sick. Right on time, Leviathan sneezed, "A-Achoo!" The child neko rubbed his eyes, a sleepiness was washing over him. The cold temperatures were getting to him. He struggled to keep his eyes open, and as he took a few steps, his legs shook and he collapsed, becoming a tiny black kitten. So much for the coat making it better.

Had this not been so serious, she probably would have stood there wondering why the hell he'd turned into a cat. Instead she scooped up the unconscious demon and wrapped the coat around him like a blanket to keep snow from falling on him. Cradling the bundle against her chest, she hurried into the castle; her only thoughts were on warming him up. She didn't know as much about demons as she would have liked. She had no idea how easy it would be for them to get sick, or that they were completely opposed to the cold. She probably knew as much about them as they did about monsters. And because he was so defenseless while in this state, she couldn't help but panic a little over his sudden blackout.
Of course, her hurried pace, quickly caught the attention of her siblings. "Back already?" Nast asked in surprise before noticing the bundle. "You're supposed to wear jackets, sis, not carry them around like babies." He was about to add more, about helping if she wanted one so badly, when Sherra paused briefly to flip him off before running into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. Once safely inside, she placed the bundle on the foot of her bed, grabbing the softer furs nearby and placing them around the tiny cat.
Once she was certain that he was starting to warm up a bit, she crossed to the opposite end of the room to coax the fire awake. It took a few branches and a good fireball to finally get it going again, and the room was soon filled with a warm orange glow. Satisfied with her work, she then returned to where the neko was, sitting down on the edge near him to wait for him to wake up.

For a while, Leviathan continued to shiver in his sleep. He kept going further into the blankets, trying to keep warm, without even waking up. He'd never liked the cold, after all, he was a cat demon; there were plenty of other forms he could transform into, but sadly the black cat was the one that showed the most. His eyes barely fluttered open at first, everything was a bit fuzzy, but he tried to wrap his head around it all. He was in his child form again instead of his cat form, having had enough energy to switch back. It was just the stress of the cold before that had changed him. "Mama...? " He peaked up at Sherra and gave a small smile, sneezing a small sneeze again. "I think i'm getting sick.." He pouted childishly. Like any kid, child Levi didn't like being sick. It was the worst time ever. He reached out to play with her braid boredly.

Not knowing what else to do, she began to tuck the blankets closer around him, in hopes that that would help him warm up faster. This showed just how little she actually knew about demons; she'd had no idea that being exposed to cold would effect him this much. Monsters were only taught what was necessary to kill demons, and not much else. She was starting to wonder if he was going to wake up soon, when the cat's golden yellow eyes fluttered open and he reverted back to his human form.
She smiled back at the boy, gently stroking his soft onyx hair, then blinking when he suddenly sneezed. It seemed he was probably catching cold. Sherra frowned thoughtfully to herself at this, trying to decide what the best course of action was to take. She hadn't been able to really heal his head ache, so there was no way she would be able to do anything about a cold. Her knowledge of herbs was as minute as her knowledge of white magic. "I'll go and get Dee then; she's usually good at this sort of thing." she said, removing her hand from the boy's head and standing. "I'll go and get her, so just wait here til I get back..." She wasn't sure if leaving him would be best, since he appeared to be rather clingy in this form. He'd barely let go of her since he'd woken up as a kid, so he might not want her to go. But then again, it wasn't like she was leaving him somewhere dangerous. He was in her room. Nothing bad would happen to him if he was alone in here for a few minutes, right?

” Neh, wait Mama!” As Sherra got up to her feet, Leviathan grabbed for her arm, and pulled himself up. He didn’t have much energy, but he didn’t want to be alone. It’d been one of his biggest fears as a child, and it still remained a bit now. ”I want to go too!” He said stubbornly, before coughing. He cupped one of his hands over his mouth, and pushed himself to move forward. He didn’t want to be left alone again. It always happened that way.
