Sometimes I feel like
I'm on the outside looking in
Always the left out or the last chosen
Sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough
Or I don't measure up to someone else
But who are they to tell me what I am?

Sometimes it feels like
I'm on the outside looking in
On the outside of the house
On the outside of the garden
And I'm looking in
Sometimes it's all a lie.

I know I'll never be left out in Your love
'Cause You offer freedom and you offer a new life
You came for those on the outside
You came for those who were left out.

You came for me
When no one else would
You chose me when You saw the worst in me
And You took me in
Into Your arms.

Maybe sometimes it's better
To be on the outside
'Cause then I can reach those
Who have also been on the outside
Knowing in Your love the only ones left out
Are those who claim they don't need You.

Sometimes all I want is to be loved
To hear it and to know it
To know that I'm worth just as much as they are
Sometimes these lies are more than I can stand
And sometimes I remember that they're only lies.

I know I'll never be left out in Your love
'Cause You offer freedom and you offer a new life
You came for those on the outside
You came for those who were left out.

You came for me
When no one else would
You chose me when You saw the worst in me
And You took me in
Into Your arms.

What if none of us are on the outside?
What it's all been a lie?
A simple mis-understanding
That tore our world apart.

What if they're on the outside
And they're the ones looking in
Because we have the love
And we have the peace
We have a friend who will never leave
And we'll never be on the outside.

To anyone who feels on the outside
I've been there too
And sometimes I wish I was someone else
But in His love we're all His favorites
We're all His beautiful children.

What seems like the outside
Could all be a lie
What seems like we're missing out
Is really a blessing in the waiting...

What feels like is the outside
What feels like the end
It's all been a lie
And we need Him to open our eyes

In His love there are no rejects, there are no outcasts,
There are no sinners, or unclean people,
No higher, no one greater,
No one lower or less worthy
Just children who are loved by the King.

You'll never be left out in Hisr love
'Cause He offers freedom and you offer a new life
He came for those on the outside
He came for those who were left out.

He came for you
When no one else would
He chose you when He saw the worst in you
And He took you in
Into His arms.

This poem is just grabbing my heart. I just love how you put it doesn't matter who we are for the Almighty loves us all.
