Rika Saito...

Riko swayed her way to Captain Asahina's office and paused for a moment before entering. She prteferred to reflect on her purpose before she entered a building. She found it helped to hone her mind and senses. And she was going to need all of what she could gather in an audience with the General.

The General Asahina was most likely the only other person, besides herself, in the entire multiverse that Rika respected. This had a lot to do with the fact that she realised that she would not be able to defeat her inbattle. But that was alright by her, one day....

Rika straightened her already perfectly styled outfit and stepped inside regally, but managing to trip in the doorstep, nonetheless. Glaring at the offending piece of building, Rika gathered herself, eyes daring any of the lower shinigami to make a comment, and headed to the General's private quarters, hoping to find her there.

Riko waved happily at her commanding officer.

"Hai Sempai." she said cheekily, bowing formally to General Asahina. She was not bothered that she had gotten the advantage of her. The was exactly what a commanding officer was supposed to do. God knew she did it more often than not. Showing up the subordinates was one of the main perks in her job, she thought, and far be it from her do be a hypocrite.

"Hello there O Fearless Leader of Ours." she continued. "I do so apologise for my misbehaviour." she added, referring to the lack of knocking, but knowing full well that she wasn't going to get into the habit of doing so from now on. She looked back amiably at the General's steely gaze and smiled benevolently.

"I was just wondering, O Leader, if you would be interested in a little snippet I heard this morning when I was taking my usual walkies around the 46, as so many people do." she added allowing herself a slight knowing smile.
