Ok people. Just cleaned out the guild and such but we need new ideas. The old one wasnt bad but it got to be a bit much to keep up with for the chief. So do we have any things that people may be interested in going with?

I can do banners and art if you need me, but I'll do that once we have a focus.
In my opinion, is there a general... point? What kind of specific hangout is this? Depending on the angle, we can then focus from there. Like... a general consensus on what we want to talk about. Say like.. a particular genre of topic that we can all agree on.

Oh, and so we have a fund for contests or anything, we should have a bank account so that members can donate to it so that instead of donating to the guild (in which the funds would only be useful for a sub-forum) the bank account can be useful for a charity, or any number of contests we can have.

Welcome to our guild Malevolent Ginger, I'm glad we now have an artist in our repetoire. As for your thoughts on a guild bank, up to now I've only had it written down in my room how much of the money that beongs to me belongs to the guild. I was thinking of having a mule, and I personally think that's a better idea than me carrying it around. For focus, I still need more ideas, I mean I personally have a plethora of interests, the majority of them shared with League. An overall idea for the entire guild is beyond making an arbitrary decision, but for ub-forums the ideas are endless and easier to make. I know some of my more major interests include, but are not limited to, Roleplaying, Discussion, Anime, Creative Writing (All forms of writing), Social sciences, Foreign Language, etc. I would like to here your opinion on possible focuses. But I was originally thinking of having the main forum as just a free for all, as long as member created threads wouldn't have a more appropiate place in a specialized sub-forum.

As per the mule, we should probably name is something relating to it being a bank, but also with the guild name.. whenever we decide on the focus. We can have an RP forum, but the discussion forum is kind of vague. As for anime... I'm not too sure about that one, since the main site has the anime forum, unless we know for sure what anime members want to discuss. A writing forum would be good as well, and the language one. But it's such a collage of subjects that it's hard to give it all a general name.

Agreed, what sounds best is just something quirky or clever that doesn't obligate the purpose of the guild to anything in particular. The main forum could serve as perhaps just a page for the plethora of other subject that don't currently fit into any of the sub-forums. Along with a writing sub-forum we could also have an art sub-forum.
take a look at these ideas...
Technology, Real-life issues, Popular books and movies, a forum about gaming, or perhaps a mixed one for music/movies/mayhem.

That sounds fine to me. We just need to be more active to keep people interested, such as having a contest for new members, or something.
