Herbs

Foxroot
[ Fohx-Rooht ]
Foxroot is a herb with the ability to block the usage of magic in a channeler. In larger doses it also incapacitates and eventually renders the magician unconscious. Foxroot does not work outside of the land of Pasaid, someone who drinks Foxroot outside Pasaid will not be effected. But any Pasaidians who have drunk Foxroot will experience extreme grogginess and be unable to channel, as something is 'blocking' their ability to reach the land's magic source. Foxroot's effects usually wear off in 4~8 hours.

Diesuchin Plant
[ Dee-Ay-Soo-Chin Plah-nt ]
The Diescuchin Plant, or simply referred to as Diescu (pronounced Die-Soo), is the most basic of all healing plants. It is a round, green bulbous plant with two large leaves at the top. It doesn't necessarily heal your wounds for you in a flash, but it speeds up the healing process for whatever cut, gash, injury, et cetera that you have. It is most commonly found in forests like The Ahmeyed Forest, and there are abundant sources of them around grottos.
To obtain its healing magic, you must open up the plant at the top. First, you must pull the plant up without cutting off its roots. To do so would cause the bottom to collapse and all the liquid inside to pour out. Then you must chop off the top two leaves with the stem. This will leave an opening at the top of it. From there you can simply use the plant as a container to drink it in, because it hardens almost immediately.
It tastes very much like water, but with a mint-like aftertaste.
Users will not receive any side effects upon using the Diescu plant.

Artifacts

Book of Crossing
[ Boo-hk ohf Craw-Singh ]
Most likely Pasaid's oldest artifact in existence. This tome chronicles one of the nomads who founded Pasaid- an artist who kept journals for all of his life. The other books have yet to be found; there are many citizens on the hunt for them.
This book talks about how they got there, secrets they've found, and many other useful pieces of information that are still used today. It is property of the royal family and the royal family only; they, along with their advisors, are the only ones allowed to view it. They feel it'll be kept safest this way. The location of this book remains hidden from public knowledge.
