Kay, so I've been working soooo hard on learning how to do pixel art.
Okay, so I can't draw bodies yet, but I can clothe bases. 3nodding
Check out my progress on my current doll here
(or you could go to my profile and click the numbers).
Once I finish, I'll post it here.
Ooooh... almost forgot...
I'll be trying to animate my doll. whee
Just sparkles for now... Nothing too complicated...
I might draw ONE of you, but it has to be simple (aka NOT ******** ONLY be dressing bases, not creating them.
Feel free to find a base on deviant art or sumthin,
then ask me if I'll dress it for ya.
I might even try to animate it for you. wink
Dolls will have transparent backgrounds and be either .PNGs or .GIFs

Looking at your WIPs, you're doing far better than I could. The reason I'm good at doing sprites is because they're nowhere as detailed as the dolls. xD

I find teeny-tiny sprite dolls hard.
Not enough space for detail. mad

I have always wanted to know how to do dolls and sprites... technology confuses me! pens.. paper... it's all I know.

Halfling Heroine Those dolls are so cute! *_* What program do you use to make them? I use GIMP so that I can edit out the colored backgrounds and just have the dolls. The only thing I dislike about GIMP is that there is no preview window, just the tiny pictures in the layers box. Other than that, it is a fine pixel art program.

Baronne de la Nuit I'd pay you to make one for me. So pretty. @w@ Really? How much? I'd love to make you one, but it all depends on the base's artist. Some artists don't like their bases to be sold, others don't mind. I know the heart-shaped hand base is okay to "sell" because the deviant artist said they were fine with people selling complete dolls for virtual currency (like gaia gold and non-real money). I'd love to do these for gold! Would probably make a killing, depending on how dressed up the avi is. I should look into creating my own bases. ^_^;
