Sure, they're creepy, but I'm sure the Romans didn't crucify people. Why bring in the Romans? Clearly, The Legion is inspired by them (Names, Apparel, etc.), But the Romans's didnt crucify, I'm sure. Any thoughts why they did what they did in Nipton and to what they did in Cottonwood? Yes, i know the setting is after 2200 and the civilization are pre 2000-ish.

The Romans did crucify people. They're the ones that crucified Jesus.
I'm guessing the reason for them crucifying and being all roman like is because the Romans were so successful in the times before technology and technology is what caused the great war, so technology is therefore bad and should be abolished.
PS. Caesar is one sexy beast.

I like what they did in Nipton... gave me access to a crap load of weapons. A nice little nade launcher with ammo and a laser rifle with a good amount of ammo. Both became very useful on my trip to New Vegas.
However Cottlewood is a different situation altogether. Hell, I'm not even sure what happened there myself.
I'm not a fan of the Legion... but I don't hate them either. I disagree with their methods and ethical choices however. A bit TOO barbaric and highly hypocritical if you ask me.

Sexy... sure why not.
Personally I'm not into judging video game character for their looks....
On another note... I unleashed the full fury of the Mark 2 Securitron bots on Caesars Hill top fortress... it was quite a display of fire power.
(Boomers out of ******** no where with a giant a** bomber.)

Its only hell when I run into Deathclaws... no longer can those pesky Cazadors stop me thanks to my LMG and Hollow points.
Next time, I'm gonna side with the NCR... then the Legion.

With the NCR you improve the Mojave as a whole... with House... you let a select few prosper in the new independent Mojave (Living conditions DO NOT get any better for the people there.) The legion... they're going to massacre everyone and purge the land of all "evils".
