><><Mika, as a child, never knew her parents. Growing up poor and hated in the streets of a busy, marine-dominated island in West Blue. She just barely survived off of scraps and money dropped by tourists and other people. At the age of ten, she was much smarter than any child should have to be, and the one thing she knew was certain was that she had to get off that island. So, one night, she stole a small rowboat from a marine ship. It wasn't missed, and neither was she.
><><Docking at a small, deserted island, Mika taught herself how to survive. Like most deserted islands, Mika's was rumored to hold a magnificent treasure. Many pirates and greedy travellers visited her, but instead of welcoming them kindly, she frightened them away by pretending to be a ghost. Soon, no pirates dared to set foot on that island, and Mika lived happily, secluded and unbothered.
><><This small time of peace ended when she was thirteen. Pirates- big pirates, the scary kind that had made a good name for themselves and had bounties that would make a grown man soil himself- docked on her island. Mika, however, didn't know they were big and bad, and went with the same technique, jumping out from the trees at them, right in front of the captain. For a long time, nothing happened. Then, the captain picked Mika up, holding her like a parent would his child. Without so much as a word, he took Mika back to his ship, fed, bathed and clothed her.
><><This brought a new time for Mika. A happy time, where Mika was taught everything from pirate legends, to reading maps and navigation, to how to fight with a dagger. After three happy weeks together, the pirates had to set sail, and they wanted to take Mika with them. Mika, without so much as a second thought, agreed to go and set off to sail with the crew.
><><If there was one thing Mika learned, it was that good things never last. The pirate crew, which had become her family, her nakama, her everything, got into a huge battle with the marines. Mika wanted to fight, but the captain refused, dragging her through the thick of the battle, to a small lifeboat, where he dropped her into the sea and left her to do as she pleased. Mika learned navigation to the point where it became second nature. She didn't want to return to her poor beggar way of life, and she wanted to be a pirate, but she could never find a crew she wanted- truly wanted- to sail with. So, she got the name 'pirate spy' by stowing away on multiple pirate ships. She was so good at it that no one knew she was there unless she wanted them to, and more so than that, she developed a love for games. Should a crew discover her existence, she'd challenge them to an outrageous game- and if there was one thing to know about Mika, it was that she never loses.

Special moves:
<>Cat's Claw<> A simple attack where Mika crouches and charges, holding her dagger in her fist so her thumb is farthest from the blade. When close enough to the enemy, she makes four, identical quick slashes. Named because it reminds her of a cat's claw mark.
<>Tiger's Fang<> Running at the enemy, holding her dagger in her fist so her thumb is the farthest from the blade, she gets in range and rapidly stabs the enemy in a curved half circle, resembling a tiger's bite.
<>Pick Axe<> Mika throws her dagger and jumps into the air, bringing the heel of her boot down on the handle of the dagger so it adds to the momentum and stabs into the foe. (The move is very high-risk, as Mika could throw the dagger wrong and stab her foot instead of the enemy, or the blade would simply fall to the side and make the attack as simple as kicking someone in the head.)
<>X Marks the Spot<> While in range, and holding her dagger so her thumb is closest to the blade, she reels back a bit and hacks two large slashes in opposite direction across the enemy's chest. The slashes make an 'x' and Mika stabs the dagger in the point where her slashes meet. If executed properly, the attack is fatal.
