Clan Name: Maboroshi (Dream)
Village: Scattered (Everywhere)
Element Affinity: N/A (Non Specific)

Description of Clan: The Maboroshi have a rather sorted history with their abilities, and indeed, they're broken and orderless clan has little by way of traditions, however it is certain that almost any Maboroshi born is both slightly weak of body, and strong of mind. Even from a young age their brains seem hardwired to comprehend and resist illusions, even those beyond purely Genjutsu, leading them to often have rather odd, logic grounded, personalities one way or another.

Physical Appearance: Often tall for their age and slim of build, the Maboroshi also have a strong tendency to have unusual colored irises. Gold, vibrant jade, even a lustrous silver, their eye color, while not uniform by any means, is often striking, and some theorize that it has something to do with the chakra coils in their eyes, which like their minds, are hardwired for interpreting illusions.

History: The Maboroshi were founded by a Missing Nin who had no real familiy name to speak of. An Orphan weak of body, it was said the boy would not live to see his 30th birthday, and he was sheltered by his village, kept hidden away for fear he would die all the sooner. Trapped in a world of books and lies down on paper, the boy seemed to turn entirely to his dreams in order to find happiness, until one such day he stumbled upon the scrolls of the Ninja arts. In secret, the boy trained himself for years, apparently overcoming the frailty of his body with a mind that made such weakness negligible, and through strength of will overcoming the death that had been dealt to him by bad luck.

He grew to hate the village that kept him locked away, and when he was ready, escaped, leaving many seasoned Shinobi that tried to stop him in deep comas. While the village tried to pursue him many a time, all those who tried to collect the boy, now a man, failed. All trapped easily within the hold of his illusions. Over the years, the man settled down with another missing nin like himself, the two building a family that would grow and expand into a small clan named for the thing they were said to value above all...their dreams. Maboroshi. Dream weavers, and dream followers.

Still this spell of prosperity was not to last. A few generations later, after the founder had long passed, the clan was victimized by one of the Great Ninja wars, their still infantile Kekke Genkai scattered to the four winds. Few in number, the Maboroshi, while a formidable and certainly bizarre clan, are now all but extinct when compared to prospering clans with any semblance of structure. Still, they are forever caught in the paradox of their birth. Humans who are seemingly designed to see through illusion, but who themselves seem internally driven to dream...

Habits and Social Structure: While the Maboroshi's long scattered number doesn't possess any uniform social structure, they do possess a great many habits due to their predisposition towards resisting false conceptions. The Maboroshi often think very logically, least ways, there is at the very back of their mind a voice that always nags at them with the logical truth, even if they try to ignore it. Despite their sometimes terrifying Genjutsu, most Maboroshi tend to be very mellow, not often boisterous or loud spoken, some are even cripplingly shy and reserved.

Quirks and Special Features: The Maboroshi have a number of strange quirks caused as side effects of their Blood Line, and their often odd colored eyes are merely one example. The Maboroshi, though they are said to only have good ones, do not remember their dreams while sleeping, and a few claim they do not dream at all, merely entering deep sleep immediately, their mind processing in a different way then others. This might explain the Maboroshi's other quirk, which is never having a bad nights sleep. Whether it be on rocks, hanging upside down, or in any compromising position imaginable, the members of this clan sleep as though they were on the most lavish of mattresses, always waking refreshed and in a perfect comfort.

This feat is all the more impressive when one considers that some of the clan have a tendency to contort themselves while they sleep, often awakening in a position that would make a yoga master beam with pride. They also seem to have an odd fondness for caffeine. For though it doesn't seem to effect them as it would others, they insist upon favoring drinks that contain it. This last one seems to be a mystery even to them...

If the Target is near death and is benefitted by this Jutsu, their MHP is reduced to Zero at the End of the five turns, and they fall into a coma.

Jutsu Name: Jisatsu Shisshin no Jutsu (Suicide Trance Technique)
Description of Jutsu: Perhaps the Maboroshi's most frightening technique, and most certainly the one that secured them their nick name as the Shinobi hypnotists. This Jutsu takes their Blood limit and pushes it to it's final level, total control over their subject. Unless the Victim is able to break free of the Genjutsu, they are completely at the User's mercy, and will attack anyone the Maboroshi specifies...even themselves. While the victim is struggling against this and is not fighting at their best, this Jutsu turns the weak willed into little more then puppets at the Maboroshi's beck and call...
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 130 +30 per turn
Dice Rolls: 6 (6 also for each turn it is continued)
Damage: 30 MHP +2 per turn

Stage V Genjutsu 52 Now Use the trance technique to manipulate the subject into moving as you direct, adhering something with a mind to your will. (They do not actually have to hurt themselves.)
Special: The Victim is unable to attack or use any Jutsu. Until such time as the Genjutsu is broken, they are under the User's control, and will attack themselves (Or another target the User Specifies) for normal Tainjutsu/weapon damage minus the victims's Will Stat. Note: The normal +6 towards breaking Genjutsu when injuring self still applies here and attacking the user forces them to roll a Concentration check DC of 30. If they fail, then the Jutsu is broken.
