This area is mainly the inside of the Enkil Castle. Guests and friends can come here, or the family can simply come down here to sit by a big warm fire.
The inner chambers is basically the second floor, and holds all of the guest, family, and other rooms. Such as the great library.
The dining hall is on the first floor as is the throne room.

Lorenden lets out a yell of pure rage. He is outside the main doors to the Enkil palace. Chains bind him and are held by Enkil soldiers. He lets out another yell of rage, jerking one chain and sending a soldier through a window. His eyes shine fiercely with wounded pride. They have cheated him, captured him unfairly. He was in a weakened state when they came upon him with their chains and numbers. He lets out another roar.

Upon arriving at the castle, Maximillian dismissed his carriage to await his return and started up the stairs to the grand doors of the castle only to be greeted by a soldier being ejected from one of the windows. He pressed his palm down hard at his side and when the soldier hit the cut stone ground it merely exploded in a plume of dust, cushioning his fall. Although the guards at the doors suggested he wait, the Grand Duke brushed them aside with a practiced hand and said he could take care of it himself.
Without even stepping inside as the doors opened it was obvious what the trouble was as a roar coursed out from the individual at the middle of the room. Taking only a moment to examine the situation Maximillian walked by, facing Lorenden from the side, "Well, I hadn't expected this. I assumed that you would already be at the arena by now, but you seem even more resilient than you were back then," he smirked at the Quarenthal. Although it had been another royal family that took the lead in crushing the Quarenthal's kingdom Maximillian had fought there as well as seen Lorenden as well.

Lorenden levels a murderous look upon the man speaking to him. He is sure that he knows this man from some place. Before he can place the face, more soldiers come and throw more chains over him, taking him to ground. He snarls violently, raising his head to see the one who distracted him. The fallen king recognizes him now. He was there destroying his people. Lorenden can only hope the traitors who stabbed him in the back were killed or captured so he may kill them himself. He snarls up at the man. They will all pay for what they have done. All of them.

Maximillian returns the murderous glare with a smug sneer, "Well, I've no more quarrel with you since I'm not under orders to, so I've significantly more pressing matters to attend to." His attitude probably struck even the guards as annoying, but more because they were risking their lives on something he explicitly stated beneath him and was making light of. He walked down the hall and off in the direction of a servant waiting to guide him up to the young Nital's quarters. He turned back for a moment while walking up the steps with an unreadable expression and yelled to Lorenden, "You'd do well to try to get along with my pet at the arena." Having said his piece, the Grand Duke quickly turned back and walked along with the servant who was eager to be gone from the trouble happening in the greeting hall.

Lorenden snarls and tries to surge against the chains holding him. At the man's parting words, however, he allows his body to sag to the ground with a rather twisted smile curving his lips. So the noble rat has a pet in the arena he is meant for. Oh, he will certainly "get along" with the pet. After all, Lorenden has an uncanny way of getting under one's skin when he sets his mind to it. Especially if the one he sets himself upon is human. Twisted smile still in place, he allows the now confused guards to drag him off to the dungeon for the time being.
