You know when you're gaming and you're going back to a boss area and before the boss killed you and now you're coming back with a vengeance? And you missing your cape because you lost it and after you finished this quest you can make some money to get stable again? And you think that you can go back to the area, talk to an NPC and instigate the fight, and then kill it? Well, I just went to that area on RS and the boss was WAITING FOR ME. Just flapping its wings, ready to throw rocks, and kill me again. Keep in mind that this is over twice my level. Pic of it:  Discuss ohshit moments in gaming. And I guess life.

I've had many of those. Like, I remember the first time I played Pokémon. I just almost got out of a Victory Road, my pokemans half dead. And who comes walking in like he had just come from a ******** picnic? Gary ******** Oak. emo

I was playing the new Golden Sun and I accidentally walked into the battle with Star Magician.
It's annoying not being able to save first.

Just today, I was trying to catch the wild Entei in SS.
I had previously battled him and he's down to very low HP.
My level 10 gastly used mean look and then entei killed him.
I tried catching him, the ball didn't shake, not once.
He then fled.

Haven't played Pokemon Fire Red in about two years due to not buying a new charger for my Gameboy SP (I was really lazy). Started a new game during December '10-January '11. Completely forget about Gary ******** Oak popping up during the most inconvenient moments. Then I find out Lance lied to me by claiming that he was the champion and battled him until my Pokemon suffered only for him to tell me that Gary ******** Oak was waiting for me in the next room. ;_;

thats been happening to me ever since i got him down to one hp >.< oh sure i can catch raikou with one ball using a diglett but entei refuses to get in the ball DX

You know what my combatant to that is? And this is going to sound completely ridiculous. I play through sapphire and ruby over and over again, until I get to the point where I get the master ball. Then I make a pokemon hold it and trade that pokemon to the game I need it in. I've ended up with so many master balls in one game that I could just catch all the legendary pokemon without battle. It's not cheating.

I could never finish pokemon games, even when R + S was my favorite gen. I just gave up around the Elite 4.

Uhh.Maybe Kinda offtopic, but still about pokemon. Well as for annoyance at games, I'll skip all other and just move on to Pokemon which I'm lately playing. So.
I started from LeafGreen. Went through it easily, because I played blue twice, so I knew everything besides the Sevii's Islands. So after Elite four I quit it and started playing Emerald. Then remembered about Mewtwo. Except, the Cerulean Cave is closed even though I have national pokedex and elite 4 beaten. Okage hinted that I should go visit the Sevii's Islands again. I will so do, just not atm.
Emerald. Oh god. Completely a new thing for me, because I played only 1st gen earlier, so I had no idea of Hoenn or pokemon in it. 'Kay, managed to catch Rayquaza with master ball, beaten Elite Four, caught Kyogre and Groudon. Now I should also catch Latias and Regis. The problem is, that Latias just randomly pops out whenever he wants. It pisses me off because I've already went through the land thousand times. and NOTHING. GRRAWR!!
As for Regis I'm more pissed. So pissed, that even though I know the solution, i SO dont want to do this. I need to catch two pokemon I didnt see in wild yet, hold them in a certain slot. Then sail to Sealed chamber to solve the stupid Braille puzzle and then go to three stupid caves to catch them. wah. >_>"
Okay, now finally the ones that frustrates me the most. Soul Silver. i downloaded one, played for 12h. And I lost these 12h. You see, I've encountered many many glitches and bugs. Freezing, tweaking, bugging, stuff not appearing. I thought I can live with that even though that meant saving each 5 minutes. No. I can't live with that. They started getting worse. Great, lost 3 hours of progress reseting stuff and doing it again and again. Then (5+3+4) I wasted 4h to look for a solution and once i gave up, look for a new rom. yesterday finally got it and started like... 10 minutes. and now I'm demotivated to go on, because in previous game i managed to get to 3rd gym >_>" damn it.

No. But I have had to figure out how to beat a boss before it gets a turn (turn-based battle format, obviously) due to a game glitch. That thing didn't kill me but it sure made me scream in agony. Luckily it was a new game + and I had some old bombs that carried through.

 In Persona 3, I finally made it up to a respectable height level in Tartarus, until I come across a real son of a b***h: SLEEPING TABLE.
To this day, I still haven't beaten that thing. =(
