Hi, my name is Sharon Bee Halone(haa-lone), but you can call me Sharon or Bee or really just about anything else non-offensive.
I really owe my life to Aniwaya444.
I am a 19 year old heterosexual Female.
I come from Downtown Lake Brightondale and I am a Nerd.
People tend to describe me as quite hyper and easily friendly. However I have also been told that I do not seem to trust easily
It's probably because this life is quite new to me. I just moved to Brightondale when I was 17 and it is easy to tell that something here is wrong. I guess more than anything that is what has made me wary of people. Generally I stick to my own group, but occasionally I have a creative streak as I really enjoy to write.
I never leave home without a good book, pen/pencil, and a small notepad.
My favorite song is Baby I Lied by Deborah Allen.
Oh! One more thing! I am a bit on the eccentric side.
Photo:ISay hello to Miss. Nerd Halone!

Lake Brightondale: Uptown Days & Downtown Nights (Forum)

HISTORY(pictures have been removed for space purposes, her posting style can be viewed under the TESTING thread)

*********************************

Bee woke and bounced out of bed ready to go...well almost ready to go. Bright blue eyes took a quick glance down herself, going out in a rumpled set of pajamas was just not what she was doing today...or almost never. Okay, maybe occasionally. Laughing at herself she dug through her closet for the dress clothes she almost always wore. Bee did not know what was with that, but she liked dressing nice constantly, even if it was a warm dress style.

Carrying her clothes with her she laid them across the counter in her small bathroom at the end of the hall. Adjusting the water she stepped into the tub for an enjoyable warm shower. After washing her hair she toweled off and dressed.

The door slammed behind her as she left to stride down the rode, not far from her small abode was a place known simply as Devon's to the downtown residents. That was where everyone hung, every cliche goofed off together. Of course there was still a bit of a boundary, but it was not as large or noticable in Devon's Place.

Bee entered the the house lit building to the music already set up across the room. A sweep of the room told her she was not the first to arrive this morn.

"Morning, Elizabeth, Gilly, and Bella," Bee called cheerily!

*********************************

Bee tried not to giggle at the two girls antics. Dropping her stuff on the table Lizzie was at she headed towards the kitchen. "On my way Bella!" Bee caleld to the gal who was exchanging antics with Lizzie about making money. She truly thought that the young singer could achieve her dream of being famous...that was as soon as the Goldenwraiths were out of the picture. They ruined everything. On that thought she entered the kitchen.

The whole building was familiar to Bee, but the kitchen was particularly familiar. The room also held amusing memories, including the one where she received a niec little shock fixing the microwave. Chuckling to herself she picked the toaster oven up and turned it upside down on the countertop. A clanging reminder of the tray inside caused her to wince has is banged against the top of the toaster over, she always forgot to take that thing out. Opening a drawer she dug through it then with a sigh shoved it closed and went digging around another. Is she ever going to stop doing that? Bee wondered with an amused sigh

"Bella! You moved the tool set on me...again!" She called to the gal who had went somewhere deeper into the kitchen so she could work on somethign else while waiting on Bee to fix the faulty appliance.

*********************************

Bee smiled at the other gal as the tools banged against the counter. "Why thank you, those do come in handy." Digging through the bag she emerged with a screwdriver. "Let me open it and I will show you, it'll be easier than trying to explain without letting you look."

With an excited grin Bee popped the bottom off and glanced at the loose parts. Pointing in at one of the cables she set about explaining it to Isabella, "You see this wire just sitting here?" Bee glanced up at her to make sure she understood. "It should be connected here," she pointed to a metal stud sticking off the inside of the toaster. "As it is disconnected your heating system disconnected. Your problem was that the heating bars on the top would not come on, correct?" Bee asked her to make sure there was not another problem as well.

Hopefully they could get something later to better secure this, as it was not loose it would be a common problem. Reaching over Bee did something she should have done before even opening the container, she unplugged the toaster oven. Grinning she shrugged at Bella then ducked back into the tool bag, setting the screwdriver on the counter. Pliers...Aha!

The needle nose pliers gently lifted the unwound wire and slipped the hook on the end over the metal piece. Adjusting her position abit she clamped it back on their properly and pulled out. Staring around the inside of the box, she did not see anything else. Screwing the bottom back on she dropped the tools into the bag and closed it.

Turning the machine over to the upright position she opened it and fixed the tray. Plugging it back in she turned the timer and stared at it for a moment waiting for the tube at the top to heat up.

*********************************

Bee returned her friend's hug, "I don't know about a saint..." She replied with a mischievious grin. Grabbing the toolbag she moved to place it on a shelf herself this time. Maybe that would keep it from being lost next time she needed it...probably not.

She heard the query of where her life would turn after this summer and covered a sad smile before turning back to face the other girl. Thinking about how she was going to answer this question she wondered what all could be said. Isabella was a close friend so where her second thoughts some from she did not know, something inside her just whispered 'becareful'. The mood changed quickly though as Bella blurted yet about curiosity.

"I don't want your money, you know that." Bee said giving her the same stern look she always did when Belle even thought of funding her for her repairs. "However," she glanced at the now working toaster oven. "I will take a couple of the chicken strips that is supposed to go with that toast there." With a laugh she darted towards the fryers.

*********************************

It was true, gravy was indeed a necessity with chicken strips. Taking the food items thankfully she smiled happily at Isabella. The girl was right about her being hungry at home and she knew it. Like everyone else downtown she made enough to get it through but after all the crazy taxes enforced by the Goldenwraiths food was a little scarce. She gave Bella a quick, careful so as not to spill her food on her, hug.

"Thank you again, and I guess I will gfet out of your way now, the real customers will be starting on their way in." Making her way back through the kitchen she exited to plop down in the chair she had set her stuff in front of. Sliding it over now she sat the plate and cup of food on the table and glanced at Lizzie.

"And your morning has been how?" She asked before offering one of the chicken strips then, still holding the one across the table, dipped the other in the gravy adn took a bite. "Heavenly," she muttered through the small mouthful.

*********************************

Bee shruggged and dropped the chicken back on her plate then smiled at Lizzie.

Of course the girl was having a great morning! It was Saturday, she would sing tonight, she had such a beautiful voice. Bee nodded to answer as she had chicken strip in her mouth and she did have some type of manners. Swallowing she added, "Of course, do You think I would miss it?" Saturday was a big night for everyone downtown.

*********************************

As Elizabeth busied herself with doodling on a napkin Bee finished up her food and reached for her napkin. Hey Lizzie had her napkin! Smiling to herself she wiped her mouth on her sleeve, nobody was looking, and gathered her styrfoam dishes. Carrying them to the trash can she glanced to make sure that the stage was already being prepared, and whether Devon was in yet. He never opened his dive, always his sister. Bee knew why too...Bella could cook!

Sliding back into her seat she started to say something to Lizzie but the younger gal slid the napkin back across to her. Looking at the doodle brought a wider smile to her face, her name was grafittied on the square cloth.

When Lizzie started to sing Bee almost chocked herself on her laughter. It was a new one, a humorous one at that. When the singing stopped Bee applauded and cheered.

*********************************

Bee giggled when Elizabeth bowed and then harder when she decided the salt shaker was a microphone.

"Uh-huh, sing that and see what attention you get!" Bee agreed jokingly with a laugh.

Saturdays were the best, everybody hung out in Devon's place all day waiting for the outside darkness to fall. It was like the concerts they never had the chance to attend. The Goldenwraiths took care of extracurricular activities and they looked down at the downtown people. That was fine; here, downtown, Bee knew she could trust her friends, well they were family to her.

"I won't sing for you, I'm sure you have heard that strange, cover your ears and cry noise being emitted from my mouth before." Bee nodded and chuckled lightly, that however was not far from the truth, she certainly could not sing.

*********************************

Bee followed Lizzie's gaze, deciding to ignore the comment about her singing not being that bad, the girl was right. The place was filling quick, then again she could not say that was an unusual attribute for the dive. With a goofy smirk she glanced back across the table at Elizabeth.

"I know that you, of all people, is not nervous?" Bee called on her jokingly. Standing on a stage like that, or so Bee had been told, could give someone butterflies even after doing it for years.

The dive would be packed the rest of the day, and nightfall was not even close yet. Staring around at all the others she picked out people she knew well. Sure, she knew almost every last one of them by name, but she was only truly close to so many.

With a sudden idea she grabbed the notebook she had shoved ot the side earlier and plucked a pen out of her pocket and went about jotting things down.

*********************************

Bee nodded assuredly for Elizabeth to see that she heard her, however her thoughts were suddenly and obviously elsewhere. The ideas flowed from her head as she wrote every detail she could. Later today she would have to show them to the other nerds in the place and see what they thought, for now she thoroughly blueprinted them.

Somewhere vaguely she heard Lizzie speaking to her. Looking up at the girl who was now hovering over her paper she stared uncertainly at her for a moment before her mind cleared.

"Oh, no story today. I am sure you have already heard of the Goldenwraiths most recent idea to take out Devon's place and put a mall in?"

*********************************

There was no smile, or even a grimace at Lizzie's reaction as the matter was that serious. Everybody had heard about it be now of course, news like that spread like wildfire. The nerds had every intention of doing something about it too, but they were going to need all the help they could get. Right now plans were being thought of and trashed in the same hour, often more than one. The idea had to be perfect, it had to work. All of downtown depended on this idea, no pressure of course.

Currently Bee was looking at getting her hands on the past years tax papers. The only way to expose the Goldenwraiths would be to pull in a caseworker from another county, one who had not yet been corrupted by the power crazed family. However to do so would require money, and a fair share of it. That was the only problem with this idea she had not yet worked out. Tax papers for up to the past 12 months were publicly available at the city hall.

Sharon needed to discuss this idea with the other nerds, but right now few were present. Looking up at Lizzie she began to explain. The girl might be more of a creative, but she knew a good idea when she saw one.

*********************************

Bee nodded and spoke quietly, "I know, we are going to need everybody's help if we want to keep our place."

Here in downtown Lake Brightondale they were a family, even if ti was a dysfunctional one. They could trust each other, so help was not a problem. Getting the plan to work was this kind of thing took passionate participation from everyone.

"Yeah, I plan to bring it up tonight, I may perfect it a bit with the nerds first, but t is an idea. It may just do the trick..." Bee wandered off into the depths of her mind searching for ways to better this idea. Think Bee, think. This is your home...your family at stake!

*********************************

Vaguely in the back of her mind Bee heard Lizzie greeting someone enthusiastically, but she could not drag herself from the depths of her mind. This was more important to her right now. Perhaps that was the downfall of the nerd clique, they had this habit of drowning out things around them when they were upon an idea. The world could be ending and the chance that a busy one of them would notice was next to none.

More than three pages were filled with notes, blueprints, and detailed aspects of her idea. She finally looked up only with the intention of glancing around to see who all had come in and found that Ain was now at the table.

With a bright smile she waved to him, "Is the world ending??" She asked him in all seriousness, glancing towards a window to make sure the outside area was still intact. This guy was never out during the day.

*********************************

Bee smiled at Ain's gesture and slid her notebook across the table to him at his inquiry. Moving around to his side of the table she hovered over his shoulder pointing to different things and explaining how it was hoped t work out.

"Well this is only a rough draft, and may not even be the final idea, but here is what I have. Any citizen of our city or any government official at all can access the tax reports for the past 12 months. The objective would be to request a copy of them for our usuage. As the city is so mired in the Goldenwraith family they would think nothing of this. After all what is a downtowner, who is barely an adult, gonna be able to do? To get the Goldenwraiths exposed and discredited we need to hire a caseworker from another county...that however requires money. That is the main problem with this idea found so far. Where are we going to get enough money to hire an outside caseworker who is not under the thumb of that male Goldenwraith?"

*********************************

Bee slid back across the table with her notebook and gaped at Alucard. Is he serious?

"First, I have to get it approved as the final idea before anything else. I'll keep you in mind though, no worries there." At the last moment Bee remembered to add, "It will be discussed tonight at the clique meetings."

The door burst open and Shayix came through. Bee waved good morning to him and returned her attention back to her own table.

"Excuse me a moment," She jerked her thumb towards the counter, "I'mma go get a coke" The trip was a quick one before she rejoined the two with her own drink pondering how she better her idea.

*********************************

Bee tried not to laugh at Lizzie's reprimand of Alucard, she was right, but Lizzie always cracked her up when she was trying to be serious.

"Indeed there is." Be answered his question embellishing it with a nod.

*********************************

"She's right we need everyone in on this." Smiling back she replied to Lizzie, "I know, that's why you weren't supposed to see me hiding my laugh." Getting up she walked around the table to hug her friend. Bee plopped back in her own seat about the same time Shayix landed himself on the floor.

"Planning." Sharon said in response to his question.

*********************************

Bee nodded at Lizzie's statement. "Yeah, you're a little behind on the times Alucard, ya really are. You enjoy your nocturnalness?" Sharon glanced to Shayix on the floor and leaned down to whisper loudly to him. "If you don't answer her she'll throw a cup at your head."

*********************************

Bee glanced up at the words "feline beastie" and scooted away from the general direction of Elizabeth.

"You, sir, have a death wish...wait...that's not anything new is it?" Bee asked with a grin on her face. Tucking her notebook in her pocket she glanced around the dive. The place was quickly filling up. Nodding sastisfactorily about the setup she turned back to see Lizzie's reaction.

*********************************

Bee tried not to giggle at Lizzie's reaction. Boredom was quickly settling in and she pushed away from the table and began pacing an empty space on the floor.

Shortly she was back in her chair and writing, not as furiously as earlier, but determindly, once again in her little notebook. The highlight of Saturday was still hours away. Passing time always seemed a hard manuever on theses days.

*********************************

Bee watched Shay roll thoroughly across the floor in an amused manner as he demanded water. Lizzie had been trying to get the crazed guy to choose a drink for the past five minutes. Elizabeth did not so Bee grabbed a styrfoam cup and threw it at him.

Vaguely she heard Liz say something about tarot cards and turned to watch Ain. He always had thoise cards on him. Bee wondered who he was doing, but that question had already been asked aloud.

*********************************

Bee moved to go to Liz when she fell, but Alucard got their first.

Ain's family was a mess, his parents were so uncomprehending when it came to their son. No thay had taken two of his tarot cards? With a sigh Sharon shook her head. Liz mentioned her plan to Shay and Bee's attention shifted to Shay to wait on what he had to say.

*********************************

Bee scrutinized Lizzie carefully for a moment as she took pain medication. Bee could only imagine the headache she must have coming on.

Alucard offered a card game to pass the time and although Bee had just come up with a new story idea she jumped on the offer.

"Yes please. We need something to do." Sharon glanced around again at the half empty ride, "It's kind of slow today."

*********************************

Bee glanced at Liz to see her looking at her and both of them shook there head fractionally to say they had never even heard of it. Looking back to the cards that Alucard had now.

Never even heard of it, so I guess that means you have to explain," She said with a grin.

*********************************

{{Woohoo!! A bunch of postehs I really had no need to sit here and read and had realized that by the third one, but did anyway, hehe. Does this make me strange?}}

Bee tried to process the information on this new game. Something was not clicking...and they told her she was the smart one. Then again, hands on was more her type not lsten and learn. Perhaps she would pick the idea up if she played? She usually did anyway.

"I have no idea what exactly it was you just said, but lets play anyway." Bee said with a light laugh. It was only a little after noon and time was still passing slowly, hopefully this would help.

The door opened spillling mid-day light into the dim atmosphere and Hailey turned wondering if Devon had finally shown himself. Nope, it was Mikey coming in for the day, and boy did he look awful...nothign new there. He never liked getting up.

Turning back to the game Hailey picked up the cards, but before looking at them peered at Ain. "I am supposed to look right?"
