WEEK 2 [POKEHYBRID GIJINKA] This week we'll be doing a gijinka of our hybrid Pokemon!!!!!
I've done a billion gijinkas in the past and while I think it's still fun I think it's become stagnant so doing one of HYBRIDS is a cool take on it.
If you don't know what a gijinka is, it's Japanese for "personification" and you can turn anything (item, animals, even intangible metaphors) into a gijinka.
If you haven't done a hybrid yet and wanna join in on this week just check the second post to create your own!!

Tips for those starting out and need a direction:
-Take a look and study your Pokemon
-Choose a theme/class/time period
-See what motifs your Pokehybrid have that can be incorporated within your costume/character (i.e. Snorlax is fat so you can obviously make him a fat guy, or even make him a little guy but make it look like his clothes are super layered that he's just as round as a Snorlax)
-See if you can even fit the same silhouette

OK LET'S GET BACK IN THE GAME GUYS
This week we're gonna draw the Old Gaian Gods, not real life ones like mentioned in Gift of the Gods or whatever.
and I mean the O.G. GAIA GODS not the last minute Manga s**t that's recently going on (Peath and that jellyfish s**t lol)
The challenge is that Gino, Overseer, and Sentinel are looking for the old gods and they come across the ones mentioned in the items like Phrigustus. I want us to show everyone what the real old gaia gods are and what they look like!!
Choose one (or more) and draw them in your own image. You can include the Gaia item that references them as part of their design but it's not necessary.
 The god of Winter, Phrigustus, once wielded a gauntlet that was said to tranform rain into ice.
 The god of summer, Vulcagni, once wielded a gauntlet that was said to shape fire into weapons.
 The son of the Wind God, Kaze, was once given a blanket by his father in order to protect him from the wild. He carried this blanket with him everywhere he went until he was old enough to fend for himself.*
 These anklets were the trademark of Eirmehz, the god who was known to lead those in passing to the Underworld.
 Betrayed by his rival brother, Eirmehz was given these anklets to shackle him in the underworld never to rise above again.*
 It is said that, when night falls, it is the moon goddess Lunaris spreading her cloak over the sky to regain her kingdom from the sun god Apollus.
 It is said that, when day breaks, it is the sun god Apollus spreading his cloak over the sky to regain his kingdom from the moon goddess Lunaris.
 The Lord of Summer's sunglasses, which will probably actually set your head on fire and burn out your eyeballs.
*As mentioned, Eirmehz has a brother and Kaze has a father, the Wind God. These count so you can draw these guys up and give them a name if you want.
Tips for those stuck and need a direction:
-Think about who they are and what they do
-Draw clothes according to what they would wear within their environment
-Reference ornate motifs to help keep you going

you can draw it how you see it or reimagine it (like red riding hood set in 1995 and she's the bad girl mafia kingpin and the wolf is the good guy private eye or some gay s**t like that)
any country, any time zone, any style

It seems I've missed the point and need to spend more time on it. it's ok i did like a billion before lol i wanted to start off with a really easy idea to ease people into the art jam i might do a set this time too!! right now i got leafeon and zapdos. here's my previous set:
