Not to mention there's going to be another PERSONA! No idea if it's going to be a port or a P5 though. Maybe it will be P3DS xD I'm definitely getting one eventually because lots of fun-looking games are coming out (not just because it's in 3D; there's a good chance I will be turning the 3D off). Here is the list of games that have already been announced. Don't tell me there's nothing appealing on that list.

There only about four things on that list that strike up any interest in me at all; Metal Gear, Bomberman, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and...that's about it. Everything else I can find on the other systems no problem...hell, most of those are on other systems, minus Dragon Quest...which had a port to the Wii not to long ago.

There are about four things that interest me on that list as well; pretty good for a system that isn't even out yet, I think. Surely there's more to come. I bet you will want to get it someday, when more games come out. Besides, who cares if those series are on other systems? The 3DS will be like having a Wii that you can carry in your pocket, since it's going to have such nice graphics and Miis and all that (but with other new features instead of Wiimotes, obviously). And, the games obviously aren't going to be the EXACT same as their counterparts, so they will be worth playing. Only a few of these are ports, and even the ports have been improved considerably. Eventually, I'm sure unique games and sleeper hits that don't exist on other platforms are going to come out on it as well, anyway. Not saying you or anyone should get it on the first day (none of the interesting games are going to be available at launch anyway), but it's definitely not going to amount up to a waste of money in the long run!

I kinda agree with both of you, Reded cause of it being a waste first day it lauches, besides im one to wait until the 4DS is out to buy the old one XD
Also, Morpheus has a good point to about it being like a portable wii. Oh and fun fact i think the 3DS is the first potable Nintendo system with a joystick LOL

LOL That sounds insane, maybe we'll be able to like go inside the system or something. xD I hope the 3DS joystick is good. The one on the PSP almost gives my hand a cramp!

The line-up isn't looking good. A lot of companies are dropping titles (MegaMan Legends 3) because they don't believe the system will work out in the long run. Personally, the Vita is looking better and better.

Necrobumping this to oblivion because this guild needs a reboot.
Who has a 3DS, now that over a year has passed?
I'm planning on getting one soon because, damn, the games coming out for it trample all over the Vita. The Vita clearly is the better system, but its games just don't compare. The 3DS has Overclocked and Virtue's Last Reward, and is going to have a Persona game, SMT IV (and that game looks gorgeous in the trailers), Phoenix Wright 5, Professor Layton games, the PL and PW crossover game, hopefully some Trauma Center, and that one game that Studio Ghibli is helping with too. I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting, but whatever.
Doesn't change the fact that Shin Megami Tensei IV alone makes the 3DS worth buying.
