I'm coming to terms with this and I am wondering what I can do to change it.
I don't like plunging head first into a relationship with a person based on looks, I want to get to know the person better, befriend them, be sure that there is common footing for us to establish a relationship on before anything happens.
Lately though, everytime I confess how I feel... I get one of two answers.
1. "Your to good of a friend for me to risk our friendship by us dating"
or
2. "Had you told me sooner.... I just started dating someone..."
What can I do to change this about myself? Or is it a bad thing?

I think thats just down and out bad timeing! Theres nothing you can do about that really...
And as for the friend one, well they might just be turning you down nicely sweatdrop BUT you can turn things like this around... but i'm not really sure as to how sweatdrop

The person who gave me response number 1 also does this... every time she sees a cute guy, or girl, or someone in between, since she is pansexual, she will call me, or text me, or point them out to me...
her most recent one is this girl who works at our local fabric store... she nearly died when the girl simply spoke to her... and she doesn't know anything about the girl except her name and her estimated grade...
My friend knows it kind of annoys me, since she honestly said to me "I would date you, if we were not such good friends" so instead of dating me, she points out everyone she would date.
