There was a noticeable pop in Oratu's step as he walked with some pep towards the pokecenter, his quick pace had put him slightly in front of the others, despite saying he would follow his comrades. He approached a building that had 'Pokecenter' posted near it, and walked inside. doesn't look too busy here yet, we must be some of the first ones around these parts he thought as he handed nurse Joy two pokeballs filled with his prized posessions. "I was hoping you could help me with these." he said calmly with a slight smile tugging as he spoke. Now. . . Where are those other two? he pondered. After a few moments passed he recieved his two pokemon in healthy shape. He then took a short stroll over to the pokemart to pick up some pokeballs, which is where he waited for the other two.

Thankfully, the City wasn't too far from where the Team had found the Piplups. Sukotto would have hated to have been cornered by a large group of Wild Pokemon and be forced to send out Doku when he was at less than his full strength. The Trainer headed to the Pokemon Center straight away. "Would you kind folk please heal my Pokemon?"
After getting Doku healed up, Sukotto decided to make his way to the Poke Mart in order to stock up on a few supplies. He walked around through the isles, picking out a few items and then brought everything up to the shopkeeper.

Metsuki arrived in Seiuchi city and was surprised by its size. He expected to find a city far smaller than this, this far north. Without delay he made his way towards the Pokecenter in town by utilizing street signs that were displayed on the corners of each road. It made finding he center much easier than he anticipated.
[Enter Seiuchi Pokemon Center]
As soon as he entered the Pokecenter he was greeted by a nurse. "Welcome to the Seiuchi Pokecenter! How can I help you?" she said with a smile.
Metsuki held out his Pokeball containing Minun "She has been injured and could use aid".
"Oh, poor dear! We will make her our top priority!" the nurse grabbed the Pokeball and rushed it into the next room.
A few minutes went by and she re-entered the room with a smile and Metsuki's pokeball. "Here she is! Good as new!".
"Excellent. Thank you". Metsuki nodded gratefully and then made his way for the door.

[Enter Pokemon Shop]
Metsuki wandered around for a while and then found his way into a shop that carried items useful to a Pokemon trainer. Perhaps he could find something he could use in here.
The shopkeeper looked at him as he entered the store and asked with a chuckle "What can I help you with?".
Ignoring the man for a moment, Metsuki looked passed him and saw the items on the wall behind him. "Those." Metsuki motioned towards the Pokeballs. "I'll take one of those..." he scanned the wall a little closer until he saw what he was looking for "...and 3 of those health potions". He looked farther down the wall "Plus two ethers".
The shopkeeper eyed him for a moment and then smiled "A Pokemon trainer, eh? I used to be one back in my youth..."the man trailed off as he gathered Metsuki's items. "That will come to 850 Pokedollars".
Metsuki handed over the money and said "Thank you, sir" as he headed for the door.

The nurses at the Pokemon Center were more than happy to heal up the four Pokemon that were given to them. They were glad to see new trainers in the region. This meant that the leaders of Tohoku were being true to their word and taking measures to improve the nation's economy by following through with their plan to import Trainers from all over the globe.
The shopkeepers felt the same way, especially since they were the ones actually feeling most of the benefits from new Trainers in the area. They were glad to help foreigners out with what they needed and handed over the merchandise.

After the Team regrouped, Sukotto decided to take initiative and suggest their next course of action. "Would you guys like to look around the city for some Pokemon? I bet a few interesting ones have wandered into the city in order to stay out of the cold." The Trainer looked down one of the city's alleys, wondering what sorts of things they'd run into. There was just no telling when it came to looking for Pokemon in a city.

Metsuki's gaze followed Sukotto's to the nearby alley. It seemed likely that some kind of Pokemon would be lurking around. The question was simply which kind?
"Sounds good to me". Metsuki said as he began walking down the alley.

Oratu smiled and nodded in approval. His initial excitment about his Piplup had finally reached containable levels, and he reverted to the slightly more calm version of himself that his friends hadn't seen much of yet. Once again he fell into line behind the other two signalling that he was ready to move forward whenever they were.

As the Team made their way down the alley, they stumbled across a pack of four Vulpix. The four fire foxes were huddled around a fire, keeping warm in the chilly town. Since they were distracted with the fire, they didn't notice the approaching Trainers.
Wild Encounter Species: Vulpix Number of Pokemon: 4 Vulpix Speed: 7
Will the group engage the Vulpix in battle? If you would like to, send out your Pokemon. If two Trainers send out their Pokemon, the Team will have committed to the fight. If you're not interested, your character should say so.

Thankfully, the group continued to get lucky and stumbled upon a collection of Vulpix that were huddling together for warmth. The chilled city was likely quite hard on the fire Pokemon, but since they were able to produce heat at will, Sukotto figured that they would likely be able to manage themselves well enough if it happened to be especially brisk outside. The Trainer grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and released Doku from it. Sukotto had heard that these were fairly strong Pokemon and wouldn't mind adding one to his roster. Thankfully, there were plenty to go around if his teammates also wanted one. "Let's do this, Doku."
Sukotto's Dexterity: 10 Croagunk's Speed: 6
Sukotto has elected to allow Oratu to use his Trainer Action before him, so there is no need for a tie-breaker.

A warmth could be felt from the end of the alley. It was a nice change from the bitter cold that Metsuki had become numb to over the passed several hours. The soothing feeling was replaced with anxious excitement as Metsuki saw the four Vulpix gathered around the fire. They had not seen him or his team yet and this would be the perfect opportunity to get the drop on them.
"Joules, you are going to be invaluable in this fight". Metsuki said with a smile as he summoned his Minun from her Pokeball. She came flying out of the Pokeball in a bright flash and landed stealthily next to her trainer.

A smirk couldn't help but emerge from Oratu's face, it was his first battle with his new pokemon, and it was against the fire-type vulpix. Amerad and Piplup should be able to handle these guys quite easily. He thought confidently "Piplup, lets see whatcha got!"

Without wasting any time, and before the Vulpix had a chance to notice their attackers, Metsuki called out to his Minun "Joules! See if you can hit that whole group with your Thunderwave!". Joules planted herself on the ground and dug her heels in while she powered up her attack. Energy streamed around her and electricity sparked from her body. She let out a high pitched squeal and unleashed her energy blast in the direction of the Vulpix group. The Thunderwave ripped through the air and sent sparks flying in all directions as it moved.
