Paul Shimjima Jake sighed, shutting his eyes'. He had fell asleep again a small frown stayed on his face labodamie walking into the hospital, Railus stepped quickly ahead of Sonia nodding and smiling at his coworkers he walked past the main desk without a word, before stopping at a trusted nurse and asking her where the room was. with a quick explanation the nurse smiled and walked away leaving them to quickly find the room. as they wandered to the door Railus took a deep breath and knocked softly. Rin128563 Lilith sighed, "Come in." She spoke in a low voice since Jake fell asleep. Sonia didn't wait for an answer and went in smiling at Lilith but worry was written all over her face. "How are you?" She asked and sat down next to Lilith.labodamie wandering into the room after Sonia, he approached from the bed's end, examining the room carefully. after careful deliberation he looked back to Lilith and said "If you'd prefer, I can have you transfered to a nicer room, m'lady?" his voice was still pensive and a bit low, but concern was obvious through it. Lilith looked at Sonia and smiled faintly. "I'm fine..and it's ok...you don't have to." She said answering Railus. Sonia smiled a bit and sighed, "We heard what happened...im sorry i wasn't there for you."

in truth he had been examining the quality of the room but that was not all. he had been looking to see any sign of Auberon's visit. there was none, and Auberon was not nearly sneaky enough to hide his presence so well. "No, I'm afraid this is my fault. I allowed my surveillance to falter, and my brothers to disappear"

"I don't think anyone could have stopped it from happening.." Lilith muttered and glanced over at Jake who was still asleep. "Perhaps stopping the fight maybe...but not what happened with the babies.." Lilith plopped down her head on the pillow. Just thinking about loosing one started sending her into depression.
Sonia took her hand and patted it lightly, "It's ok...nonetheless we are here now..."

Jake opened his eyes' a little, then rubbed his eyes' with the back of his head. "When did..you two....get here?" He said stiffly sitting up straight looking at the two. He yawned lightly

not having much to say just then, as he was lost in thought, Railus took to wandering around the room, examining every miniscule detail. had Auberon gone back home? no... there elder sister would tear him apart. he must have just zoned out and gotten lost. it was a habit of his family's after all. he really didn't know what to say though. these moments were not his strong point.

"We just got here," Sonia said looking at Jake. "And how are you doing after all this?"
Lilith glanced at Jake and smiled slightly. She was never mad at him she was just conflicted on what to do. Clearly letting him take Bell would be the smartest thing.

Jake looked at her, "I don't really know..." He said rubbing his head lightly giving a small sigh. "Good..." He looked at Lilith giving a weak smile

"Might I see the child?" he asked, turning back to them for only a moment. the whole situation had tossed him for a loop, and drained him of all outward emotion. he asked with only the slightest curiosity in his voice, wanting to know which family the child appeared to represent more.

Lilith nodded, "Yes she's over there." Lilith pointed over to where the baby was sleeping.

Jake watched him for a little before looking over at Lilith, "you okay?" He asked tilting his head to the side, rubbing his head lightly

walking silently to the child with his eyes closed, breathing deeply through his nose. the baby smelled of both of them, and he could wait no longer. opening his eyes he marveled at the child's beauty, though it was no surprise considering the parents. still he was underwhelmed by the child's resemblance. while there were definite Heller features, it did share some with the father.

Lilith looked at Jake and nodded, "I'm fine.." She glanced over at Railus and saw Sonia appear beside him. Sonia glanced at Lilith and Lilith nodded.
As she saw Lilith nod Sonia picked the baby girl up and smiled down at her. "What's her name?"
"Annabella," Lilith responded and smiled slightly.

watching the young Heller rise into Sonia's arm, he paused. he could not help but smile at the adorable youth in the babes unopened eyes. it did have a resemeblance to the Hellers. resemblance enough at least. Railus reachout and touched the young girls cheek with his fingertips, not since the birth of Alaric had he felt skin so smooth on a creature so close to his own heart. it was a new member of the family that he'd loved to protect for so many many years, and he would treat it like one.
