This mine is south of Oreburgh, and where the city gets most of it's fame, and energy. There is a giant piece of coal in the middle, surrounded by workers and their Pokemon. Talk to them and they may want a battle, working in the mine all day can be boring, you know! If you're lucky, you may see the gym leader Roark in here.
