Haha, guess what?... A very special day is slowly approaching! Anyone know what 16 days from now will be...? That's riiiiighhhtt!! Aurora High's splendid anniversary is on February 6th, 2011! I believe it took... A month? Two? Anyways, it took a long time to fully get this guild up and running, and I say we're doing pretty good! Remember the day you first joined Aurora High?...Well do you?
On our guild's anniversary, we'll have a few contests. I will give out prizes, yes. And no, I won't give out noob-ish crap that you could buy for 2 gold in the marketplace. Ahh just wait...
Post here your thoughts and comments! Ideas for anything partaining to this day is strongly encouraged!! biggrin

I like to have a contest that could potentially include everyone and incorporate all fields of the arts. Music, writing, drawing, sculpting, photography, photo-editing, hell, even interpretive dance, if someone can somehow make that represent the guild.
Then again, my guild has well over 250 members and I've never had a half-decent turn-out for one of them, so perhaps I'm not the one to listen to.
If I might make an unrelated suggestion... About the announcement. My opinion is that you should cut members a little more slack with your verbage. Perhaps it's unwise of me to speak so frankly when you've made your ill mood clear with your articulation, but reading your words as offered, one might forget that all of the members have been waiting for the promised attack for many months now, and it keeps getting pushed back. Some members now classified as inactive may only be so for the very reason that they continue to wait for the attack. Three times now, my conversation with Necrofade has gone to what we felt was a good stopping point, and we were ready for the attack, and three times it hasn't come.
Normally I'd post this in a PM, but I've sent you more than a few PMs that you said you'd never gotten, so if you'd like to edit this portion out, that's fine; it was meant just for you. I had to be sure that you got this message. I hope that it doesn't cost me my position, but I felt it so important to say that if that's the price then so be it.
I hope the things that you're working through get sorted out in a manner you find favorable and I'll see you at that attack.
