I could feel my legs shaking as I stood with my Rapidash, Rai, at my side. A million things were going through my head. Why? How? Sure it might have been because I managed to fight my way through the Elite Four, and took my part in ridding Sinnoh of Team Galaxy. Somehow I didn't think that was exactly it. Maybe the God of Pokémon recognized my love for my friends? Without them... Well I don't know what I'd do without them. Rai seemed to agree. She nuzzled my cheek gently and it helped me gather my thoughts.

Whatever the case, though, I was sure the Arceus in front of me had its reasons for want to see me, of all trainers. I pet my Rapidash’s back gently as we seemed to wait minutes that turned into hours. Or maybe that was just me exaggerating as my brain failed to keep up with the moment. It was like I still couldn’t grasp that the mighty Arceus chose to appear before me. Rai tilted her head, her fiery mane as hot and bright as ever. It seemed she was wondering the same thing I was—what did Arceus want? The problem with that, though, is once I looked into Rai’s eyes, it was like she knew all ready and didn’t want to tell me.

Brat, I thought. Leave it to my Rapidash to know everything, but she’s always there for me as I’m always there for all my Pokémon. We looked back at the Arceus. It took a step forward, the Pokémon completely dominating its surroundings just by being there. It took one more step and bowed its head, as if wanting to acknowledge us. Maybe it did just want to show its thanks for what good deeds we had done. It seemed to be showing some level of gratitude. Or so I thought until Rai bowed her head in return and went into a stance that was common for her in and before a battle.

I blinked and noticed how the Arceus then looked ready for battle as well. Oh boy.. So the legendary Pokémon also wanted to test our strength, huh? Well then a fight he will get. A small smile crossed my lips as on instinct I palmed a Luxury Ball. Maybe I’ll be able to call the almighty Arceus my own? Certainly was a tempting thought, and fairly possible, so I very well will give it a shot now that I’m here. “Get ready Rai,” I said, getting a safe distance away. The Arceus and Rapidash stared at each other, sizing the other up. “Don’t hold anything back!” Rai gave a nod, her red eyes never looking away from the Arceus. She was ready as ever, and that was fine by me. We‘ll see how this goes. “Rai, use flamethrower!”

(Juli gave me permission for having it be this long. ( I think... ^^; ) It's readable in seven minutes. ^^;;;
Please also note: Kallos is a bit of a creeper, and if his person ever got turned into a pokemon, he would attempt to marry her. Not gonna lie. Thus, that's why he acts as he does in this response.)

The wind whipped across the surface of the tall pillar, lashing at the small form of a human, a young woman with long black hair. I wished I could quell the tempest, negate it's harsh winds and lock down the air so it could cause her no pain. No, though. I couldn't. This once would have been considered my domain, but now...I was outranked. In the face of this power, I could not change the air or protect her from it. That would not stop me from trying though. I would never stop trying to protect her.

The air stirred for a moment, harsher than before. I slid over slightly, and her arm went around my form, her small hand caressing the emerald green scales and golden rings on my side. The rest of my form spiraled around her, tail behind her, loops of green, gold, and red around her, and my head in the air, high above her. Watching...waiting for the one who outranked me to arrive.

There was a disturbance in the space around us, almost like a tear in the fabric of our reality. Lowering my head a bit, I come closer to my girl. Her form seemed incorporeal in a way. I realized why, focusing my attention on her. She was all that mattered, now, anyway. She raised an arm to protect her face from the onslaught of air, and it seemed as if there was four different embodiments of her, all layers on atop the other. The deepest one, the faintest one I could barely distinguish was a girl with light blue pigtails, and I did not know her appearance although I knew her essence. The others, though, I did recognize, in every sense. They were all her... all her personas since I had met her. The second layer was the one I knew the best, with light brown hair and a green bandana. She was the first version I had met, all those years ago. The one who'd woken me at the top of my tower, who'd battled me. Who'd caught me, all those years ago.

The third and fourth layers were nearly identical, both having dark hair and a white hat, the only difference being their outfits. Flickering in between the third and fourth versions of herself, my girl stood, waiting. This rip in the fabric of reality that allowed me to glimpse all of her again...it meant that finally, the one more powerful than I had arrived.

Stepping out from a rip in the sky, the great Arceus would have towered over most of His Retainers. I, however, towered over Him, my twenty-three feet of green coils wound around my girl loosely and then into the air. I knew, however, that my place was below, and lowered my head to the height of my lady. I nuzzled against her face as an act of saying, 'It will be alright, I promise.' She looked slightly dazed by the raw presence of Arceus, but at my actions, she looked at me and gave a soft smile, touching my face lightly with love in her eyes. Such a gentle soul, she was, yet capable of any action she must take...Why though? Why had He summoned us?

At once, He stepped forward, closing a bit of the space between us. His telepathic voice echoed from Him, although I wasn't sure if my lady understood His words. I, though, understood them far too well. He had said, "As one of my Retainers, you know your place as a form of power in this world...Why, Lord of the Sky, have you abandoned your post to follow a human maiden?"

So that is what this was about...he had summoned me because of her. With a growl, I wound myself around my lady once more, as if that could protect her from his words. Fangs bared, I replied, "Leave her out of this, Lord Arceus... if you wished to speak of my actions, why did you simply not call for me, instead? She is but an innocent bystander in all of this!" With each thing I spoke, I became more tense. He could not try to take her from me...I would not let him. Even against Him, I would not give her up!

I chanced a look back at her, the slight girl who had been pulled into this conflict. She looked slightly confused, and I knew she could not understand what was spoken between the Lord and His Retainer. She had never been able to translate my words, although she still understood me well enough to know everything I would have told her. Her hand fluttered to my face, and she cradled one side with a worried smile. "It's okay, Kallos...it will all be okay. Alright?"

Arceus blinked slowly, looking down at us from His high platform. He spoke again, His voice indifferent, although tinged with slight aggression. "I did not simply call you because of your actions, Retainer. The source which has driven you from your rightful place stands before me, and I see no reason why I should not free you from the tyrannical bindings which this human has placed you under. That is why she is here; She is the source of this problem, not what you have called an "innocent Bystander". She has kept you too long bound to her. How long has she been in our realm? Many forms she's taken... She should not have returned as another, so many times over... just look at her now, as she blurs at the edges! She should not exist in our world! So, why should I not eliminate the problem that has long kept you from fulfilling your role in our Realm?"

"You will not touch her!" I roared, my mouth gaping. "Retainer I may be to you... but she is my Lady, and I will protect her!" With a snarl like thunder, I grasped my lady in my arms, holding her like a human would hold a bride. She might have screamed for a moment, but it was lost as I sped into the sky, floating now high above my Lord. He stepped into the air, reality bending around him to make platforms he could stand on. Lightning cracked between us, but I would not falter to protect my lady.

"Is she worth abandoning your post as a Retainer of Arceus, as the Lord of the Sky? Tell me, Rayquaza! Is she worth that?!" Arceus's words blasted across the sky, and this time, I knew not if she could or could not understand them.

"She is worth anything! Worth even my own destruction to protect her! I love her!" As I spoke and snarled, my mouth began to glow, rings of energy forming around my maw as a ball of power began to take shape. I was prepared to do anything to protect her, even face a power that would surely destroy me.

"Is she? Is that how you truly feel for this maiden?" Arceus' words suddenly lost their edge, became calm just as the storm around us died. I looked about wildly, wondering if this was a trick. Arceus gave a shake of His head and I discovered, when He looked up, that He had a slight smile on His face. "That is what I had thought. But still, I had to hear your own words profess it. That is enough. You may keep her."

"AH-what?" The ball of energy in my mouth died, and I responded with that flabbergasted sound. "Truly? This was just a test?"

"Indeed. A test, as humans would call it. How many times has she returned to this realm? Four? More? Each time she has worked as hard as possible, saving the region and doing whatever she could, just so she could bring you to her new region. She loves you, as much as any trainer has for their pokemon. I had to make sure you felt the same...although you almost take it to a more...ah, extreme level. " He gave a laugh and blinked at us, His usual benevolence visible. "You may stay with her as long as she accepts you."

As He had spoken, I had slowly lowered to the ground, setting down my lady. She clung to my arms, her eyes alarmed and confused, although she seemed to understand what had happened for the most part. She gave a light smile, trying to look not at all flustered, and patted my side. She looked back at Arceus, who dipped His head at us. Once more I nuzzled my lady's face, my relief pouring out of me at my Lord's words. I could stay with her. Forever and ever, I would stay with her. He spoke again as I looked up at him, and He smiled as He watched the Sky Lord and his chosen Lady. "Farewell, my dear Retainer... Farewell Rayquaza."

I’m chasing Poseidon(Latios) through the forest as he whips through the dark trees, blending in perfectly his bright blue skin turns the dark green of the trees and then POOF! hes gone.
I stare at the spot where he disappeared; I forgot he could do that. I walk towards the spot where he was and wave my arms, I know I can still feel him even if he’s invisible, its his specialty. I send out my Milktank- MooCow, she stares at me clueless, I know other Pokémon can sense Poseidon she continues to look at me, I tell her to find him, she shakes her head and sits down. so, i return her to her ball, still lost as to where Poseidon went.

I keep walking towards a small pond, the hair on my arms and legs stands up I feel a static in the air, a powerful buzz. I wash my hands off in the pond watching the goldeens and magikarp swim, the wind blows hard almost knocking me over. I think Poseidon is pulling another joke, I yell out “Okay Boy I give up you win!” I look back into the water looking for the fish pokemon they seem to have disappeared. I feel a thud hit the ground. Thinking its my Poseidon I turn around quickly and see the God of all Gods, Arceus, in front of me. I stare with my mouth gaping open like a fish out of the water, I forgot to breathe. I start choaking and gasping for air. Something touches my shoulder in the middest of my awe and I squeal , tears welled up in my eyes its Poseidon he nudges me, and I can breathe again, he chips in my ear. And stares at Arceus, Legandary to Legandary.
Both acknowledge each other, I was blessed when I met Poseidon, he was a gift, that I cherish everyday to no extent.. Poseidon floated beside me watching Arceus, waiting for him to make the first move. I wonder why he chose to show himself to me, would it be that I just happened to be at the right place at the right time? Nooo, its not that simple, I thought to myself. He only appears to those who are chosen, ive read all of the stories about him, about all of the legandaries, how different they are. He is said to be the one that created the Sinnoh region, but whats he doing here? As I ponder to myself Poseidon readies himself for battle, its his most disliked passion but he will defend his trainer to no extent. The bird pokemon that were chirping and the insect pokemon that were buzzing have now stopped completely.

They know a monstrous battle is brewing. Dark clouds rapidly form above us, blocking all of the Sun’s light, everything grows dark, I look around us, the pokemon have seemed to vanished. Poseidon nudges me I look up at Arceus, his eyes are glowing, power is flowing through him, his skin seems to gleam with radiance. I take off my bag and place it besides the pond, I turn my hat around like the fabled Ash Ketchum from Pallet town! I look at Poseidon to my right, he nods his head and whispers in my head, “ Let’s do this, my friend!” I declare a battle with Arceus.

"Alright, Voltus! X-Scissor!" Sniper shouted her command to the scolipede. The bug pokemon flexed it's antenna before leaping toward the Umbreon. Behind him a hooded man lept back and gave his own pokemon a counter shout.

The umbreon dove to the left and prepared it's claw for a counter strike. "ARRRRRG!" Voltus growled as his opponent's strike cut through his own attack.

"Don't give up now, common, I know you can do this!" Sniper growled shooting the hooded figure across the forest clearing a glare. If only his face were visible. She couldn't give heads or tails on his intentions. That was no normal umbreon, it should have been out after the first attack. "One more time. To the right this go."

Voltus shook his head and gave another roar before curling into a ball and charging forward with an ambitious roll.

"MEUHH!" the umbreon cried as it flew back. This time struggling in vein to stand once again before the hooded figure recalled it into it's odd looking pokeball.

"It would see you are worthy after all." He spoke with an ancient air about him. "Take this to the mountain top, it shall be your final test from me." And with those words he withdrew an ancient looking horn decorated with emeralds and sapphire. The man crossed the battle field and waited for Sniper to take the prize.

"uh..." Sniper and Volitus both blinked in confusion as Sniper took the ancient horn. She didn't even have time to question before the cloaked man turned around and left the forest clearing.

"I guess..." She looked up at the mountain peeking over the trees. "I guess we go there?"

"Keh?" Voltus shrugged than gave a nod. Both pokemon and trainer had little to go off of other than a feeling that this was the right thing to do. Still, it would have been nice to have answers. Perhaps. the top of the mountain would hold every thing that they were looking for.

A long climb, and a few close calls later the two found themselves on the top of the mountain. From below it looked as if there was nothing more than a pointed peak, but that was little more than an illusion to those looking from the bottom. The mountain held a crater and inside that crater were several pillars with decorations of ancient pokemon at the base and top. It looked to have been a shrine at some point. The wear and tear of time had done a huge number on it.

Sniper and Volitus approached the center of the pillars. In the stone platform between them there was a large symbol, too worn to decipher what it was, but one thing was certain, the horn. There looked to have been a groove where the thing once sat. A silly place to keep a horn...

"Well... " She looked to Volitus who shrugged than nodded. "Kweh!"

With a deep breath Sniper withdrew the horn than let loose all the air through it. The sound was unworldly yet soothing. After the sound had faded the area around them brightened and a stairway appeared before the trainer and her pokemon.

"Ye who hath passed my test, ascend to my thrown where I may test you further." A bold voice echoed from atop the stairs. Compelling to say the least. Not long after the last word ceased reverberating in their ears the two had already begun their ascent. Fear, wonder, a mixture of feelings filled their hearts.

At the top standing amongst pillars of gold stood the most dignified pokemon either had ever seen. Volitus bowed low resting his chin to the ground. He side glanced Sniper who was standing with her maw ajar. "keeeehh..." He whispered and gestured for her to follow his example. Which she did still confused as to what was going on.

"Rise one who's heart is pure. You were able to defeat my messenger and call fourth sound from the silent horn of truth. Now you stand before me humbled. You truly are worthy of this meeting."

Sniper and Volitus both got back to their feet. Vol had to nudge under Sniper's chin to get her mouth closed. She had finally realized what had happened.

"Take this egg, it bears one in my own likeness, and teach it of the world below. When it is ready I will appear again. This shall be your final test."

The arceus craned it's neck than touched the horn in Sniper's outstretched hands with his nose. When he leaned back an egg appeared in place of the horn, decorated with all the colors of the elements.

"wait, but-" When words finally returned to Sniper's mouth the area became blinding than returned to normal leaving them back atop the mountain. The egg wiggled viciously than burst replacing the egg with a young Arceus in Sniper's hands.

"kewh!" Volitus blinked and nudged the young god pokemon with his nose.

"Vol... This is going to make the Prof. very happy.... I just hope we don't fail this test. I would hate to think of what would happen..."

"keheweh..." Vol nodded slowly than shivered. This should be interesting.
