Hoshi poured the coffee into her cup, "I miss Ri-ri and Chain," she sighed, "It's so damn boring here."
"You mean in between the fictions?" Karasu asked as he sipped his tea, "To tell the truth I miss Shinsetsu too."
"Well then, I think you'll love the next story!" Kabuto's voice called over the loud speaker, "I found a gem of a story that features one of my specimens. The same one that provided genetic material for your boyfriend!"
Karasu turned bright red, "He's not!" he jumped as Sora wrapped his arms around his shoulders, "We're just friends," he muttered.
"Yeah... and Haru's just my brother," Sora snickered as the alarms started to go off, "Ah crap, he was serious. Fiction time!"

She has a black skirt that reaches her mid thigh with a brown belt just strapped around it loosely.
Likes: Her team, fighting/training, RAMEN! (but doesn't show it to anyone) and has a temper hard to deal with. (Ex. Naruto gets her pissed. Naruto gets tossed into the tree.) But normally she's hyper, talkative, and other times calm.

[Jasmin's POV]
"Can I please go Neji?" I asked him for the twenty-third time today. "It's not fair that you can be a ninja and I can't."
"It's because I care about you," he told me. "I don't want you to be a ninja."
Because he's a prissy little prude. And since she's a mary sue, she's sure to show him up.
Why do you tease Neji so much? He's didn't get with Gaara in this realty.
Because there's one where he did. That and he's a Prude who won't get out of the closet.
"Why not? Do you think I can't handle it or something?"
"I know you can handle it, but I'll never know if you'll go on one mission that'll be just a little too hard for your team."
He's not this protective of Usagi. And there are some SERIOUS issues there.
Seriously, what's the academy for? Not teaching vegetarian nins to fight?
"We would fight back. I'm not as weak as you think."
"I know you're not. You've beaten me a few times." He laughed a little at that.
Seriously? Then why are we having this conversation?
A pathetic attempt at plot.
"Please?" I gave him the puppy dog eyes. It works on Shikamaru, why wouldn't it work on my own twin?
He looked away. "You're not tricking me like you do Shikamaru."
Nah, the only thing that works on Shikamaru is Tema-mama in whipped cream. And she hasn't done that since Asuma-sensei died and they broke up.

I rushed to my room and put my training clothes on. After that I headed back to where Neji was waiting by the front door. Hinata was with him. I gave her a big hug.
"Hey cousin!" I shouted.

"I have a present," Hinata said, taking something out of her bag.
"Strawberries!" I grabbed the bag and opened it, popping a strawberry into my mouth. "Thank you!" I hugged her tightly.

We headed out the door and down the road to the academy.
"We're taking our test today," Hinata informed me.
"What is it on?"
"I think it's clones."
Wait, if this is before the...
Yeah, why isn't he trying to kill her?
"Good thing Neji taught me." I poke him in the ribs causing him to look at me. "You knew you were going to cave eventually, huh? You knew that I would become a ninja, so you taught me."

He sighed. "Yes. I knew eventually I would have to cave. That's why I trained you and asked Hinata to help you study."
"Who is that?" Hinata asked, pointing at a girl walking down the road, toward the academy.
Because I never saw the girl who went to the same school and lived in the same small town as I did before!
"I'm not sure, but I'll go ask." I ran to the girl, and slowed to a walk when I was right next to her. "Hello, my name is Jasmin Hyuuga. What's yours?"
She looked at me like I was crazy, then smiled. It looked fake, but a smile is a smile to me. "My name is Kurai Unkai. It's nice to meet you Jasmin."

"Want a strawberry?" I asked, holding out my bag while biting into another one. She nodded and took one, eating it. "Oh, and those two back there are my family." I pointed behind us and she turned to look. "The guy is my twin brother Neji, and the girl is my cousin Hinata." I grabbed her arm. "Come meet them."

I pulled her toward them and smiled.
"Hello, I'm Kurai Unkai," she greeted.
"Neji Hyuuga." Neji went back to his bad boy attitude since there are people around.

"I'm Hinata." She held out her hand to shake Kurai's hand. Kurai took it and they shook.
"We're going to the academy," I told her.
We're going to the chapel and we're going to get married...Gee I really like him...
"That's where I'm going," she said, smiling. This one seemed more real. She seemed to be at least warming up to us a little. "Do you mind if I join you?"
"Not at all," I said.
We continued on our little journey. When we got in class Hinata sat next to Shikamaru while Neji sat next to Lee. I saw a red haired girl sitting at a table alone, so I sat next to her with Kurai next to me.
HEY! Neji/Lee! This story might not be so...

"Hello, I'm Jasmin Hyuuga."
The girl looked at me. "Hi! I'm Ryuu Kuroyami!" She shook my hand hyperly.
"I'm Kurai Unkai," Kurai said, extending her hand. She was smiling. "Oh, and usually I am hyper, but I didn't get much sleep last night."
AND IT'S AMAZING! WE'VE NEVER MET BEFORE!
Even though it's law that all minors attend the Academy.
Ryuu used her hand that wasn't holding mine to grab Kurai's.
"I like her," I said. "She's fun!" I let go and held out my strawberries. "Do you want one?"
"I'd rather eat ramen. It's good." She said this like she wanted to explode but was trying to hide it.
"How much do you like ramen?" I asked.
"Enough to eat it every once in a while." Her eyes weren't looking at me. They were on the desk in front of her and she was biting her nails.
"You're lying," I said.
Kurai nodded from beside me. "You're body language shows that you are, now tell us the truth."
"Okay, but don't tell anybody. I love ramen to death. It's like one of the only things I eat."
I'm one of Mira's best customers. Even though I never met her either.
"Why don't you want anybody to know?" Kurai asked her.
"Because then I sound like Naruto."
"Who's he?"
"A kid that always gets in trouble," I answered.
Mira's other best customer and the actual star of the series.
And a snappy dresser!
Please tell me that was a joke. I can't tell with you sometimes.
"Yeah, but I know someone who has a crush on him," I said. "I'm not telling though, because I promised her that I wouldn't."
"Calm down!" Iruka Sensei ordered, coming into the room with a tied up Naruto.
"And that would be Naruto," I told Kurai.
Aww, Iruka-sensei never tied US up...
I know, it looks like so much fun!
You two have problems.
"Today we're going to take our test," Iruka told everyone. He saw Kurai, Ryuu, and I. "And I see we have some new students today. Would you three like to introduce yourselves?"
We all stood up.
"I'm Kurai Unkai." She sat back down.
"I'm Ryuu Kuroyami!" Ryuu said hyperly.
I shoved her playfully back into her seat. "I'm Jasmin Hyuuga." I held out my strawberries. "Anyone want a strawberry?"
WE KNOW ALREADY! GET ON WITH THE STORY!
Ryuu reached for another one, but I slapped it away. "Owie."
"Not you. You already had one."
"I want another."
"So do I," Kurai stated.
"They're trying to mug me Iruka Sensei!" I shouted, running across the room to hide behind Neji.
Neji just sighed. "Go sit down or I'm taking the strawberries."
"Iruka Sensei! Neji is trying to take my strawberries."
"Maybe he needs to so you can calm down," Shikamaru mumbled.
I pointed my finger at him. "I heard that."
"Okay Jasmin," Iruka started, "can you please sit back down now?"
"Oh sure." I smiled and walked back to my seat. "All you had to do was ask."
Okay, that was just stupid.
I swear. I think I hate strawberries now.
"I want one," Ryuu and Kurai said at the same time.
"Nooo!" I hid under the desk.
"Okay, do you three think you can take the test?" Iruka asked.
Ryuu and Kurai nodded and I just called out a, "Yep!"
Even though we've apparently never came to school!
"Then how about one of you come into the connecting classroom?"
I nudged Ryuu's foot.
"Iruka Sensei!" she called. "A gopher is attacking my foot."
"Kick it!" Kiba shouted across the classroom.
"No!" Too late. "Owie." I came out on the other side of the desk, behind some people…well Sakura and Sasuke to be exact. Naruto is still tied on the floor, forgotten. "She kicked my face!"
"Okay, Jasmin, how about you come first?"
I sighed. "Okay, but I will attack Ryuu when I get out. I promise that I will."
It was his turn to sigh. "Alright, just don't kill each other."
I followed him into the next room to see Mizuki Sensei.
My brain hurts. Kara-kun make it stop!
I wish I could.
[Neji's POV]
I sighed inwardly at Jasmin's childish attitude, but at least she found a few friends with the same attitude…somewhat.
"Whoa, that girl was hot," a guy whispered to his friend behind me.
"Her two friends aren't that bad either," his friend whispered back.
"I like that red-headed one," a third guy whispered.
I sighed.
This is going to be a long day.
And the point of that was?
They had to let you know that the Mary Sues were hot.
[Jasmin's POV]
I was about to make my clones until I heard shouting from the other side.
"She took the strawberries!" Ryuu shouted.
I made three clones and ran to the door opening it. I held the bag up. "Yep, and you're not getting them."
Oh god, not the strawberries again!
I still want to know where the whipped cream is.
"Wait until you get over here."
"Why am I waiting? You're the one who has to wait."
"Jasmin, stop that and get back over here," Iruka said. "You passed." I turned my head to see he had a headband and ran back to him, leaving the door open. He handed me a headband and I ran back to the door.
With the headband.
"I'm back!" I sang, jumping on the desks to get to her.
REALLY?!?
"Jasmin!" Iruka called from inside. "Leave Ryuu alone long enough for her to take her test please."
"Yes sir!" I called back, landing right in front of Sasuke. "You're lucky for now."
"Revenge once I come back," Ryuu laughed.
I shrugged and plopped my butt where I was, wrapping my headband around my neck. After I did that I looked forward, seeing Sasuke, right in my face.
"Ahh!" I fell backwards off the desk, causing Kurai to laugh.
No, that actually is scary. Uncle's not right.
Especially when someone writes him in a fiction.
"Why are you laughing Kurai, it's your turn," Ryuu said from the door, tying her headband around her right arm.
Kurai headed for the door while I watched Ryuu's feet come closer.
Only a little bit more.
"Roar!" I shouted, jumping out at her when she was right there. She fell to the ground and I jumped off. I ran across the room to Shika and hid behind him, poking my head out.
This story...
...is REALLY stupid.
"Why are you involving me in this?" he asked.
"Because you're my bestest friend."
"I thought I was!" Ryuu shouted, jumping across the room toward me.
"You're a stranger than took my strawberry!" I shouted jumping away when I saw she was close enough. She turned around and saw me hiding behind Sasuke. I saw from the corner of my eye that Kurai came out of the room.
"Roar to you now!" Ryuu shouted, crashing into Sasuke. I jumped back on my desk and started laughing.
Ryuu's face was as red as Hinata's when she sees Naruto.
HINTED PAIRING
"Sasuke!" Iruka called. He quickly stood up and went into the room, closing the door.
I watched Kurai tie her headband around her left thigh.
"We passed!" Ryuu shouted, seeing Kurai's headband. "Group hug!" She grabbed Kurai, dragged her next to me, and squished us both in a death hug.
"I'm dying! Someone help me!"
The class started laughing a little, and then I was released from my death grip, with something important to me missing.
"Give me back my strawberries!" I shouted, jumping on Ryuu's back and she ate them. Kurai was taking a few as well. I kept hitting Ryuu's head then reaching for the bag that she kept just out of my reach. "Someone get my strawberries back for me!" I begged. "I can't live without them…Seriously."
Give me the strawberries. Now.
"What do you mean?" Kurai asked, looking at me. Actually the whole class was looking at me, even Sasuke who just came out the door.
"I'm a vegetarian, there's not much I eat because I'm picky. Ask my brother or cousin."
Yeah. Strawberries have EVERYTHING you need nutrition wise. Something tells me that the writer isn't a vegetarian.
"Who are they?" Ryuu asked, looking around the room. She saw Naruto on the floor and jumped at him. "It's you isn't it?"
"I'm still on your back," I told her.
"Oh."
I got off her back and stole the strawberries back, sitting on Iruka's desk.
"Sakura!" Iruka called.
"It's not me!" Naruto shouted. "Oh and can you get me out of these ropes?" I tossed a kunai from my pouch and cut the rope.
"I want my kunai back," I said, as I bit into a strawberry.
"So who are they?"
I sighed. "Okay, my eyes are lavender. Think of other people who look the same." I stood up and walked near Neji, then walked to Hinata, sitting down on her desk.
"It's those two aren't they?" Ryuu shouted.
Kurai hit the back of her head. "Who else do you think it is?"
"I'm not sure," Ryuu answered, rubbing her head. "I'm seeing stars at the moment."
"Tell them I said hi," I said, eating another strawberry.
"Alright." She waved randomly. "Hi little star. My friend says hi as well."
I want whatever drugs they're on. Now.
Seriously.
After messing around for a little while longer, and more students passing, everyone left. Neji had gone home early with Hinata and I stayed with Kurai and Ryuu.
"So where are you two staying?" I asked.
"A hotel," Kurai answered.
"In an apartment," Ryuu stated. "How about you come live with me Kurai? We can split the rent and food and you can have a nice place to stay."
"That's a great idea," I stated. "And I can visit both of you at the same time."
And we can do each other's toenails and fix hair and...
Don't you and Chain do stuff like that?
Wai... wha?
"Sure," Kurai said, smiling. "It sounds like it could actually be fun."
"We're throwing a party soon," I told them. "I'm going to throw one after we pass probably."
"Or, we could have a sleepover," Ryuu suggested. "That way we can get to know each other better."
What did I just say?
"Ooh, can I bring my cousin Hinata?"
"Sure," Ryuu said.
"She seems quiet," Kurai observed.
"She usually is when there are a lot of people she doesn't know, but I hope we can work on her shyness."
I always wondered if Hinata had that librarian syndrome...
"I will!" Ryuu shouted.
"I'll help," Kurai said, smiling. "Maybe she is just scared or something."
"I'm not sure," I said sighing. "But she's always been like that."
Because the Prude and the rest of the family beat her up regularly. Duh.
"Well then we'll help her cure that!" Ryuu said, jumping in front of us. "How much stuff do you have Kurai? If it's not much then we can go shopping and move your things in."
"I have a few pairs of clothes and a few other things," she answered. "I never got very many things, because I keep moving."
"Well, then we're going shopping, then getting your things and going ruin Ryuu's apartment."
"Hey! Why do you want to ruin my apartment?"
"Because I can."
"Good point," Kurai pointed out.
"Yep. That's why I said it." I bounced forward with both of them following me. "Now let's go shopping!"
"Yeah!" both of them shouted at the same time.
Totally! Let's be all mall-ratty and forget the massive ninja story we're in!
Karasu rubbed his head, "I don't think we can make this one," he muttered, "It's actually worse than the last one."
"We can," Hoshi assured him, "And once we do, we'll send it straight to hell like the other one."

"What are you idiots doing?" Karasu asked as he stared at Sora and Hoshi... and the pile of hair accessories, nail polish, and body glitter.
"We're like having a sleepover!" Hoshi said happily, "And then we're like totally going to the mall!"
"For sure," Sora added, "Totally," he snickered, "Ho-oh, we should do some highlights or something in yours."
"I always wanted like purple in my hair," she said thoughtfully, "Not sure that I can pull it off," she picked up a can of hair dye, "And Karasu totally needs the red!"
Karasu glared at them, "Stop. Now. We're not doing this."
Both sighed in defeat, "Tell the truth, I think I just killed a few brain cells doing the Valley Girl act," Sora said as he rubbed his head, "I don't see how they talk like that all the time."
"I think the hairspray and nail polish fumes get to them," Hoshi mused, "Hey Karasu, what do you think?"
Alarms sounded, and all three groaned as they got up to go to the viewing room.

Melting the Ice (Haku) Part 2- Sensei and Sugar Curse
Recap:
Jasmin, Ryuu, and Kurai all passed their tests to get their headbands. They're currently planning a party.
And that's all that happened.
Story Start:
[Jasmin's POV]
Because it would be too much work and far less confusing to have it in third person omnipotence.
"Okay, now that we have this place fixed, I can go home," I sighed.
"Good night," Kurai yawned, going in her room. "I need a good sleep."
"Good night!" Ryuu shouted, heading to her room.
GO TO ******** SLEEP ALREADY!
I walked out the door closing it behind me. I walked back home to see Neji sitting outside.
"You didn't have to wait for me Neji."
He looked up at me and smiled. "Well, I didn't know when you would get back, so I decided to wait and enjoy the outside for a while."
"Since when do you love being outside?"
Since when is the Prude... especially pre-chunin exams Prude... this nice?
"Since you were with your friends."
"Okay, well, now that I'm here let's go inside and get ready for bed."
He stood up and headed inside. I followed behind him until I reach my room.
"Good night Jasmin."
"Good night Neji. Don't wake up too early tomorrow."
WE MEAN IT! GO TO ******** SLEEP!
He laughed a little. "Don't worry, I won't."
"Good. You need to stop forcing yourself to do things." I went into my room and took a quick shower, then went straight to bed.
Except for coming out of the closet. It took like five people to pry him out of there.
The next morning I woke up to a knock on my door.
"Jasmin wake up. You have to get ready, since I'm about to leave."
"What about Hinata? Did you forget her again Neji?"
He killed her.
"No, she's waiting on you."
DAMN!
"Okay, give me a minute to change my clothes. Oh, and after we all meet our Sensei I have decided that we're having a party. I have to tell Kurai and Ryuu the changes."
"It's for all of the genin or something?" he asked as I stepped out of my room.
"Yep. You're coming too, so tell your team and any others you see. It's going to be at the training grounds. Um, the first person there can pick which one."
Hoshi! You just made gennin! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NEXT?
WE'RE GOING TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD!
Yay.
"I'll just tell them that it's the one that wasn't recently used."
"Well, that pretty much narrows it down to about one."
"That's the point."
Idiot.
"Let's just go," I sighed, walking down the hall, meeting Hinata at the door.
"Are you ready to find out who is going to be on your team?" she asked me.
"I hope it's either you, Neji, Shikamaru, Ryuu, or Kurai." I smiled. "In fact, we're meeting up with them before we get to school, and we're working on your shyness today."
She stayed quiet.
She's thinking of creative ways to kill you.
Yeah, given the OOCness of everyone else here, that works.
"Don't worry, it's not that bad being happy and hyper. Neji can't show his emotions in public, but that's just because that's how he is. I will get you to not be so shy…well, if I can't succeed in that then I at least want to help you stay conscious when Naruto's around."
She blushed at his name.
Wait, wait, wait... Why is the Prude in this class?
I'm going with it's not really Neji, but a robot replacing him. With better emotional response commands.
Given the story, that actually makes sense.
We walked for a while until we met up with Ryuu and Kurai.
"Hey guys!" I shouted, running up to them.
"Hey!" they both shouted, hugging me.
OMIGOSH! HI! I HAVEN'T SEEN ANY OF YOU IN FIVE ******** MINUTES!
"I have decided that we are getting together with all of the genin after we meet our Sensei at the training ground that hasn't been used…because I used the rest and we want somewhere that people don't go often."
"Cool, we can meet a whole bunch of people!" Ryuu shouted.
Kurai nodded. "And I even have sugary snacks to eat for the party!"
"I want some!" I shouted.
"No, you have your strawberries," Ryuu pouted.
"I forgot my strawberries!" I shouted.
I torched the strawberries.
"I have them" Neji sighed, catching up with Hinata to give me my strawberries.
DAMN!
"Thank you Neji."
"I knew you would forget them, and I have a few other fruits in the bag as well."
"Thanks again." I gave him a quick hug. "Now let's go meet our Sensei!"
I'm going with that robot theory of yours Ho-oh.
Yeah, he's getting creepy nice here.
The byakugaun does make him the perfect stalker.
We all rushed to school and sat in our seats. Ryuu was behind Sasuke, staring at the back of his head, Kurai was staring into space, and I was busy observing everyone else, obviously.
"I'm sure that he looks better from the front," I whispered to Ryuu.
She nodded. "I'm sure too, but then he would see me staring at him."
"Practically drooling," I told her, poking her cheek. "You're another fan girl?"
Trust me honey, we're all Uchiha fangirls. It just depends on which one you want.
And suddenly I'm feeling very uncomfortable...
"Not as obsessive as them, but a slight crush."
"You might get him then," Kurai stated, looking at her. "It's usually the one that gives the least amount of attention that gets the guy."
Oh that is so not true!
Shinsetsu stuffed chocolates in my locker like everyone else.
"If only I could meet my dream guy," I sighed.
Kurai sighed as well. "I agree."
We continued this chat, even as Iruka called out the teams, until he said my name.
"Jasmin Hyuuga, Kurai Unkai, and Ryuu Kuroyami."
"Yey!" we all shouted, hugging in a group hug.
WHY ARE WE NOT SURPRISED?
Some of the other students laughed, but we were too busy being happy.
"You girls will meet your Sensei in the next classroom over." He pointed to the door we had gone through to get our headbands. "Where you took your tests."
He finished with the rest of the teams and we headed out to meet our Sensei. When we got there though, they weren't there, so we sat on some desks and waited for about an hour.
After an hour the window broke and a woman came in.
"I'm Anko, your new sensei!" she shouted.
Oh crap, run away!
"Yes!" I shouted. "We get an awesome teacher!"
"I know!" Ryuu shouted.
I stuck a strawberry in my mouth.
"And you ruined the moment with that strawberry Jasmin," Kurai said, laughing.
"I need strawberries," I told her.
"How about you start?" Kurai suggested. "That way we know what to do."
"Okay, well I'm Anko Mitarashi. My favorite foods are sweat bean soup and dango. My least favorite type of food is spicy food. My hobby is tea ceremonies. And I haven't really thought about my dreams of the future." She pointed at Ryuu. "Okay you first."
"Okay, well. I'm Ryuu Kuroyami. I'm a secret ramen lover, and love training, fighting, and my team. I hate things that get me mad. My hobby is training. And I haven't really thought about my future either."
"Okay now you." She pointed at Kurai.
"Okay, well I'm Kurai Unkai. I love sugar, but shouldn't have it very often because people around me pay the price. I hate talking about my past. I don't really have a hobby or anything. My dream is finding information about my family."
"And now you." She pointed at me.
"Well, I'm Jasmin Hyuuga. I love strawberries and other fruits, but mostly strawberries. I hate meat and fighting. My hobby is learning medical things. And finally my dream is to become as good of a medical ninja as the great Sanin Lady Tsunade."
Huh? What just happened? Dozed off there when she said something about introducing themselves.
Trust me, you didn't miss anything important.
"Good. You all have different ideas and stuff…Anyway I want you guys to meet me here tomorrow at ten. I'm not going to do like Kakashi and make you guys come early…Oh, and don't tell his team that."
We laughed.
"I won't," I said.
"I might," Ryuu said.
"I'll get the duck tape," Kurai added.
"Perfect!" Anko shouted. "Now let's all leave before they yell at me for breaking the window again."
What is this the nice version of Naruto? With mall-rats and no psychotic characters?
Dad is prancing around in the desert on a pony under a rainbow in this story.
I'm not even touching that.
We all laughed and took off. Anko left through the window again and Ryuu and Kurai followed me running out the door. We ran all the way to the training field with the least damage. That's the one I never use…It's too far to walk from my house.
"Hey everyone is there already!" Ryuu shouted.
"Then let's go!" Kurai shouted.
"We are!" I yelled. Well, they yelled, why couldn't I? "We're running already."
Hoshi?
Yeah Kara-kun?
Can't we just destroy this one now?
Nope. We've got to read it to the end.
That's what I was afraid of...
When we reached the place everyone looked up. "Sorry we're late. Um…I have no good excuse, so let's just go that we're late."
"So why did we all come here?" Ino asked.
"To talk and have a little party…without the music," Kurai answered.
"Who are you?" Sakura asked.
I sighed.
After all of the introductions were finally over I sat down on a low branch of a tree. Everyone sat either in the same tree on the lower branches, or around the tree somewhere.
No more introductions. EVER. We know you, they know you, you know them, they know us. We good? GOOD.
"So does she really need to eat strawberries?" Ryuu asked.
"She doesn't need to, but she does to stay healthy," Neji answered.
I nodded.
"It's hard to find a lot of things to feed her," Hinata said quietly.
"I started eating strawberries when I was young," I said, taking the spotlight off of my cousin and brother. "Something happened, and I had refused to eat meat after." I closed me eyes for a second then opened them. "I sort of miss it, but not that much."
"What happened?" Ryuu asked.
"I watched someone pull out someone's insides for defying them," I said. I ate another strawberry. "It sickened me. Nobody could get me to eat for days."
Wow. You wimp.
I would take her more seriously, but she just ate something while talking about it.
"What happened after that?" Naruto asked, sitting on the grass near Sakura.
"I went to the hospital, with IVs and other things. I had malnutrition. After a while my father suggested that I eat something that isn't meat, and the first thing I ate was strawberries, given by him. Even after his death I continued eating them, since they were pretty much the last thing he gave me."
I saw Neji look down at the ground. He hates listening to the story, but everyone needs to know it.
No, no we really didn't.
"Who exactly was the one who was mutilated, in a sense?" Kurai asked.
I looked at her as a tear fell down my cheek. "My own mother. She was murdered and then the one who killed her continued the torture on me by pulling her insides out. I was a young girl, it scared me. He didn't just kill her. He just had to continue on with giving me the images I see in nightmares." I closed the bag of strawberries and tossed them down to Neji. He caught them and put it on the ground in front of him.
Funny, I thought the Prude's mother died in childbirth or something.
Or something.
"That's horrible," Ino said. She was sitting on a branch near mine, since Sasuke was on the branch above her.
I looked around at everyone. "It's okay. I've lived past it. Her last words were 'Stay happy', so I continue doing what I was asked. I'm living my life to the fullest."
Her last words were "Ouch" or "s**t, that hurt."
"How can you stay happy after that though?" Naruto asked.
"My family takes care of me. They love me. I won't let them suffer with me."
Neji grabbed a piece of an apple and tossed it up at me. I caught it and ate it. "See? Neji is always helping me and Hinata supports me. And then I have you guys as my friends."
And the oscar for worst backstory in a fake Naruto series goes to...
It was silent for a little while. It seemed as though even Sasuke was at a loss for words.
I'm surprised he's even there.
"It's over so you guys don't have to worry," I told them. "Let's have that party." I looked down at Kurai's head. "Hey Kurai, didn't you bring sugar?"
"Yes I did," she said. "And I'm going to eat it, so duck and cover."
"And we run and hide?" Ryuu asked, sitting next to Sasuke on his branch.
"Whatever makes you happy." She started eating the sugar like I eat my strawberries.
"This might not end well," Shikamaru said, scooting away from her a little.
After a few minutes of watching her, she jumped around.
"Oh my gosh! The sky is blue!"
"Yey!" Ryuu shouted. "I thought it was purple, but I have been educated!"
"I though it was orange," I mumbled, causing everyone to laugh. "See? You guys need to teach us better since you're supposedly smart."
I'm scared now.
I watched Kurai bounce around the training field.
"Someone needs to join her," Naruto shouted.
"How about you and Shika?" I asked him.
Shika looked up at me from his spot on the ground. "Why me?"
"You're too lazy for your own good. You need to be a little bit more active."
"Dance with me Shikamaru!" Kurai shouted, grabbing his arms and pulling him to his feet, then twirling him around.
I sighed. "Well, this is the curse of sugar. I guess she was right when she said she said she shouldn't have sugar because people will pay the price."
Ryuu nodded hyperly. "But it's funny to see her drag Shikamaru across the field to dance."
"Yeah, but she's so hyper," Chouji said, scooting closer to the tree away from Kurai.
"Our team rocks!" I shouted.
NO! NO IT DOESN'T!
"I love it!" Ryuu shouted, jumping to my branch to watch Kurai bounce around the field.
"Who's your Sensei?" Naruto shouted up to me.
"Anko."
"Who's yours?" Ryuu shouted.
"Kakashi."
We both laughed a little at that.
"Who are your teammates?" Ryuu asked.
"Sasuke and Sakura."
"What about you Chouji?" I asked him.
"Shikamaru and Ino and we have Asuma."
"You Hinata?"
"She's with me and Shino!" Kiba shouted. Akamaru barked happily. "And we have Kurenai."
"What about you Neji?"
"He, Tenten, and I have Gai Sensei!" Lee shouted happily.
EVERYONE GOT THAT! GOOD!
Maybe she won't tell us again.
Ryuu laughed more at that. "Someone is on steroids."
Neji chuckled.
"Okay, I think I can handle my food again Neji." He tossed it up to me and I caught it, taking out a strawberry and eating it.
"Are you sure?" Ryuu asked, scooting away from me. "Because I took a long shower this morning, and I don't want to take another one until tonight."
I nodded, just as we heard a crash. We all turned our heads to see Shikamaru dizzy in a pile of smashed tree.
"Who wants to play with me?" Kurai shouted, bouncing toward us.
"Ryuu does!" I shouted, pushing her off of the branch.
"Yey!" She ran over to Ryuu and pulled her to the training field, just bouncing around.
"Ahhh!" Yeah, as you guessed, that was Ryuu's scream. It's pretty wimpy. Even I could scream long, although, with being dragged around all over, I see why she was cut short.
I giggled a little, then composed myself. "So, anyone going on a mission soon?"
Everyone shook their head.
"We don't know yet," Sakura said. She was sitting on the same branch as Ino, and they're both still there. I figured they would have pushed each other off by now, oh well. "We're doing something tomorrow, but Kakashi Sensei never told us what, just that we couldn't eat."
"I'd eat anyway," I said, eating a strawberry.
"He said we would throw it back up," Naruto protested.
"Yeah…Well good thing I've already seen the inside of a stomach. I can handle more things than most. In fact I can even stand a little more than Neji." I smirked down at him as he glared up at me. "Aww, you know you love me Neji. Don't deny the truth."
And yet, she can't eat meat. This character is making no sense.
He sighed.
"Be nice Neji," Tenten scolded. "She's your sister."
"Eh, oh well," I said, tossing an apple down at his head. He caught it and bit into it. "It's not like he doesn't know what I'm about to do, but I usually do it out of love."
He almost choked on his apple at that one.
"Too much?"
He nodded and stopped the choking.
"Pie!" Kurai shouted, jumping on Ryuu's back.
"Hey! I don't want to carry you!" Ryuu shouted. "I want to be the one riding!"
"Never!" Kurai shouted. "Now go horsey!" She kicked Ryuu's sides, causing her to fall over.
"I've fallen and I can't get up!" Ryuu shouted to us. "Someone come help me!"
Medic Alert?
Nah, just leave them there.
"I'm busy at the moment!" I called to her, eating another strawberry. "I'll get to you when I can!"
"That's evil," Ino said, giggling.
I nodded. "And just think, this is my team. A crazed girl, a vegetarian, and a moron who ate sugar."
"I though I had it bad," Sasuke sighed.
"You do," I said. "You have a knucklehead and a fangirl."
He sighed, knowing I was right. I tossed a piece of orange down and Akamaru caught it in his mouth, biting down and squirting Kiba.
"Hey!" he shouted, jumping away from the evil juice. He glared at me, and I just shrugged.
"Don't ask me. I was eating until a piece of orange fell. You should not blame me or the little puppy."
Akamaru barked, having already eaten the sticky fruit, with some juice on himself.
"You knew he would eat it," Kiba growled.
"Yep, but the little puppy was so cute and I just couldn't resist. Besides, it's healthy for him."
He pouted and sat down, knowing I was right.
"Take a bath tonight," Shino told him. "Or bugs might come."
I laughed at that. "Send them to his house anyway Shino."
Kiba glared at me.
"Well, it's either that or Shino sends fleas. Which do you prefer?"
"Okay okay! I'm going to give him a bath as soon as we get home."
"There is a pond nearby," Neji said.
I knew what he was planning.
"The faster you get it out the better everything will be Kiba," I told him. He growled again, so I jumped down next to Akamaru and picked him up. "Come on Akamaru, let's go get a bath."
So, what are you trying to say about Kiba there?
He barked happily.
"Hey horsey and happy!" I called.
They both looked at me.
"There's a pond nearby! Jump in it for me!"
"Water!" Kurai shouted. "Go horsey! Jump in the water!"
Ryuu looked at me. "I don't like you!"
"Okay!" I put Akamaru down again. "Go follow them in the water." He barked at me happily and ran to catch up with them. "I have your dog taken care of, now all we need is you Kiba."
I'd hate to see how this works out once we get to the actual plot.
"He smells like dog," Naruto said, holding his nose.
I laughed a little at his idiocy. "That's because he has a dog and lives with a lot more. So be quiet or your joining them."
He grumbled and stayed quiet.
The lights came up and the three looked up in surprise, "That's the end of the chapter?" Hoshi asked confused, "It just kinda..."
"We're so doomed," Karasu groaned, "Long pointless chapters and hyper mall-rat characters. I almost miss the last one."
