A Wild and tricky sea that can change at any moment. Many have died sailing these waters.

><><Mika didn't open her eyes until the boat lurched one last time, and waves lapped against the side. She waved to Aya, still a little lost. Sure, Crescent Moon Island was nowhere in sight, but was she really in the Grand Line? The sun was shining and the sea was smooth and glassy. They say this sea is unpredictable, Mika thought, I should be careful. First things first, I need to find a ship.
><><Mika circled the boat, looking to every side. She pulled out her compass to check her position, but gawked to find it spiralling out of control! Dammit! Mika thought, Without my compass...! She shook her head, putting it back in her bag. I need to stay calm. She checked off the starboard side and saw a ship. A large, black thing with nets strewn over the side and an ugly banshee-like creature on the front, her mouth opened in a scream. Perhaps they think that'll scare off enemies. Mika thought, shuddering. Well, beggars can't be choosers.
><><The smaller boat bumped harmlessly into the larger ship's side, and immediately a crowd of men rushed to the side to check what had made the noise. "A boat!" one man exclaimed. "Check if someone's on it!" another shouted. Mika smiled to herself; they wouldn't find anything on that boat. Mika was clinging to the side of the ship on one of the decorative nets they hung over the railing. She could hang there until nightfall, slip past the nightguard and explore the ship for a good enough hiding hole. For now, though, she was out in the open. She grinned, starting to climb a little higher, and towards the bow. She figured the screaming banshee would provide efficient cover from those looking down, and the curve of her knee would be a nice place to sit. I'm lucky, she thought, if a storm came while I was in that little boat, I would've been a goner.
