Luna had told the others to meet up with her the previous night at the waterfall in the direct middle of all the nations, the only place they could meet nowadays. She snuck out of the house, and flew to the waterfall, knowing this would be the last time she would see the waterfall in a while. She then paused for a minute, taking in the journey she was about to go on. The only things she took with her were the essentials- a map of the four nations, some air tribe money, a little bit of food, and her flying lionbear, Leo.
As quietly as she could, she put a saddle on Leo, looking around to see if anyone was watching her and where the others were.

Faye happily skipped along to the waterfall, so glad to finally be away from her grandfather and life at home. Then she quieted when she saw Luna and Leo.
"We're going to be flying on that thing for a while, aren't we?" she sighed, and plopped down on the ground.
"I'm gonna miss you, earth." she sat up and crossed her legs.
"I'm surprised the fire nation hasn't come and destroyed the waterfall yet...Anyway, where's the others?"

"Yeah, so am I..and they should be here soon."
She sat down next to Faye, under the waterfall and closed her eyes, waiting for the boys to arrive.

From the waterfall comes a voice with a calm cool tone. The voice quotes the Bible by saying, "If we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience." This was actually Aster who was meditating behind the soft waterfall half an hour before the girls actually got there. He steps through the waterfall, and with the moon shining on his clothes, hair and skin, he seemed like a god himself. He stepped out on the lone rock that was in the middle of the pond in which the soft and elegant waterfall flowed into. He gently shook off all the water that was on him, making him somewhat dry and turned back around to face the water fall. He puts his finger in the soft waterfall stares at it and and thinks, "Oh how will I miss your elegance and beauty, your gracefulness and healing. I wish we could stay together forever but.." He quotes again and says softly with a sigh, "All things that can be seen will fade." Aster turns back around and sits on the rock and stares at his reflection. Without looking up he says the girls, "The fire one will not be here for a while, and said he would catch up to us through other means." This was true, and meant that they had to go before anyone else finds them.

Luna nodded, then took a place on Leo's back.
"We'd better get moving then."
She held out her hand to Faye, offering to help her up because Leo stood taller than any of them.

Faye took Luna's hand gladly, and got settled on Leo.

Aster grasps her hands softly and looked up at her childlike, innocent face. Immediately he felt as if he was in a trance, like their was a mysterious connection between them. Like they were best friends. He never felt this feeling before and as he stepped up to get on Leo, he wondered about this feeling. He sat down and looked at the waterfall one last time, and said a mental goodbye to it. The fish in the pond leaped up and splashed back in the water softly, as if the waterfall was saying goodbye too. He smiled softly at it. He will really miss it.

Darin came from the ground, the earth barley making a noise for such a large man. He looked up. His eyes brown eyes seemed to dark and deep to understand. His tattoos were almost as big as his arms. On his back was a very larger piece of metal, strapped tightly to him. "I know I wasn't invited.. But I don't want to be on the front lines.. I know what you are doing, and I want to help.." He glanced at each one, then landing on Lunar. His voice was deep but calm.

Luna knew exactly who Darin was, and thought for a moment. He would be a very good help when it came to battling. She nodded once.
"Alright, come on." she said, helping him up also.
She then took one last look at the waterfall. "Goodbye, old friend." she murmured, then tapped Leo on his head, the signal to fly. Leo lifted off the ground slowly, and they began their journey in the direction of the Air kingdom.

Darin sat down on Leo, as if he was used to air travel. He was, his training helped him with it. He looked at the boy next to him, the girl in front of him, and the girl to the side. He knew the boy was of the water, the driver of the air, but what of the girl next to him? Earth? No possible way. She didn't seem an ounce strong enough. Pretty? Yes. But strong? He kept to himself, like he always did.

Darin sighed at the fact that he didn't really have room on the animal. True, it was his fault, but he didn't really see how they couldn't get a bigger animal. He looked up at the sky, his arms crossed. His stare seemed to be towards the heavens.

"The air king. Since it's late, I figure we'd find a place close to the air castle, so that when morning comes we can go and talk to him, tell him what our plan is. My thinking is that before going and finding the fire nation to defeat them, we go to all of the different kings and queens, telling them of our quest, and asking for reinforcements-a small army of soldiers from each nation- so that when we do find the fire nation, we can call for them to help us in the battle. What do you guys think?"
(I've decided to change the air color from light blue to purple, since the blue is difficult to see. And yes, i'm glad you recognized that. I based the story on it{since i'm absolutely obsessed with the show} and changed it up a bit.)
