Everybody give me your suggestions for how we can rebuild the forest and take over the world!!! Start with the rebuilding part we can worry about the world after we have enough people. 3nodding Current Suggestions 1. Recruiting contest with lots o goodies for winners (gold, items, art, ect)

Suggestions:
1. leave a suggestion box out on every thread with a big sign that says, 1 million gold for each suggestive suggestion!
2. lick a doorknob while crying out "Erma!"
3. sign up at your local soup kitchen for pipe stretching lessons.
4. cough loudly whenever you hear the word "uh". be sure to spray your spittle on the speaker's shoes, if you are within range. if you are not within range, get a gun and hijack a range rover.
5. sleep it off.
6. Remember sweet Betsy from Pike. crossed the high mountains with her lover Ike two yoke of oxen and big yellow dog called Shanghai rooster and one spotted hog hoodle-dang-hootie-i-doh, hoodle-dang-hootie-ay, hoodle-dang-hootie-i-doh, hoodle-dang-hootie-ay Shanghai ran off and the cattle all died last piece of bacon that morning was fried... where was I?

well you can't expect new people to want to come play with us with all these threads that are never used. I say it's time for some spring cleaning!!!
ooh, and what about random advertising!! Have some of our members go to popular haunts like Barton Town and give our guild a shout out. Start talking to whoever is around and let them know we are wanting people to come have fun with us. You'd be surprised who is out there looking for something new.
Maybe beef up our role playing section? Some people are into that scene and find guilds based on that. We could play to their interests by letting them know we offer that.

Yay, new-person suggestions! *Hur-Dur*
1. New introduction thread.
Mind you, the old one is ok but, it's not conducive to new members. A thread that old, a lot of the time reeks of "This guild isn't very active". I think creating a subforum for older threads is in order.
2. Need some updated rules and crew status.
That's sort of a given, yeah?
3. Need something that sets this guild apart from others.
Avi contests, Tektek contests, banner contests, auctions (Art, items or other).
When I owned a guild, we had tons of fun auctioning off Moderator boxers/panties. *I still have a lot of Gaia Mods who probably would gladly send some undergarments my way* :B
4. Establish a spot in towns/group activities
Guild Cards room, slots room, fishing room, guild towns hang out zOMG crews.(Also great when we get larger, to do a guild picture ^^ )
I'll think of more later, I'm sure.

Sweet deals!! RP-ing is totally my thing! If I have a subforum I'll hold group and individual rp's as well as writing contests based on randomly selected topics! I love giving prizes away!!! XD

This is a joint guild with another but the owner of the other one has been gone for 3 years. I don't want to break away from it but I might be forced to confused I'd have to ask Omega how she feels on that one

It was at first owned by Lilith (who is still listed as the princess). She took a vacation and transferred the guild over to me. I rebuilt the guild and got it active again (This is 3 years after the creation, 2008ish). I then joined the army and didn't have much time to be on (didn't help when I got deployed). I recently got the interwebs here to like gaia and now we are rebuilding it again. (Somewhere in there I switched avies for some reason)

My mule has plenty of random prizes too for these sort of things, from cheap to expensive. I want to say the Kingdom of Insanity was made in 2004. Ah ha. Sounds like my old guild. Close friend and I (Well, we were dating at the time but, friends now) Created one of the top Poll guild on the site, back in 2004. Sadly, with things happening, we sold it to a moderator in the guild, due in fact that neither of us had the time to keep up with it. That and the poll gold cap, sorta killed us. Hard.
Ok so, now that I have some history into this, I can understand how you're semi-treading on someone elses baby, in a sense. The fact remains, that this is now your guild, right. If people don't come back after years and years, more than likely, they've moved onto other things. Hard as that might be/sound, those are the cold-hard facts. Do what you wish to do with it, Hon, or at least what makes you happy. :3
Like I said before, I can keep things fresh and moving for you, while you're still deployed and without great internet. No worries there, I won't let things fall into disarray. I have some great ideas for contests and such, I can offer sealed letters of the month, small non-store items, ect, ect. I'll work up a few things this coming weekend, with banners, rules, ect.

ok this isnt about geting people to join the giuld but....how about we have a village or a town in the forest hear? we need SOME PLACE for the people of this forest to live dont we? i mean.... we need a palce to live, so we arent just wandering in the forest o.e we should start to build a vilage in the forest smile what do u say erple? i just hope bob agrees with building a village o.o i will ask him in the temple to see what he says smile
ALL PRAISE BOB biggrin cheese_whine o yea and also o.o if you agree with my idea...we will need a place to build the village (im just calling it a village for some reson o.o)
