Home of the Red lanterns. Ysmault has a river of blood, and many active volcanoes. It is a graveyard for those killed in the massacre of sector 666.

Jack landed on the planet Ysmault, the once prison of Atrocitus. As Jack landed on the burning planet, he suddenly felt very queasy. He rocked back and forth in a very sickly manner, till he spewed red blood from his mouth. He stared at the blood boiled on the ground. As it boiled to the face of Atrocitus, "New Red Lantern you have been brought to Ysmault for you are the last of us. Your job is to spread rage, throughout the universe. The Red light shall see the universe burn for the sins of the guardians."
Jack looked at the sky and thought of where to start the conquest of rage. His mind's eye looked to the greatest city on Earth, Metropolis. This shinning world, will feel his rage.

As Jack looked towards space, the voice of Atrocitus still rang in his head. "I knew this day might come, by now you have discovered the vision in blood they will guide you to the future of the corps, pay close attention, find those you hate, and make them feel your rage!"
Jack looked upon, the face of Atrocitus, as it disolved to show a green lantern escorting him to a chamber with one short blue man. The green lantern leaves the room, and the short blue man, shoots a beam of energy at Jack, Jack watches himself explode and his ring captured by the being. Then the vision ended, Jack looked behind him, and became worried about the future.
