The sun began to set behind the vast canopy of trees, turning the sky into hues of reds, oranges, golds and even a pink color. Just as the sun began to set, the moon was slowly rising, and with that moon also came a male with red eyes. A sneer graced his face, as the light from the sunset danced upon his face. Usually he would be awake while the moon was half way within the heavens itself, but not this time. No, this time the male was awake for some reason, a reason that not even he himself knew.
With a loud yawn, the male stretched out both his demonic wings and fore limbs. Maybe a walk would help ease his weariness...if that was what you wanted to call him. His ears twitched to every sound that came from every direction. Yes, he thought to himself as he red eyes scanned the area. Maybe a walk would work, and a little hunting to ease my stomach. True his stomach gurgled, telling its master that it was in dire need for food. The male could not help but to smirk, allowing one of his canines to show through.

Another wolf was out hunting as the sun set. Out of the brush came a female with a skull on her head. She was chasing a rabbit through the woods and was grinning. Her tongue fell out of her mouth and she picked up more speed. One wouldn't expect her to be so fast when she had bones covering her back like her rib cage and spine was on the outside instead of the inside. But she could be very fast when needed to be.
The hunt wasn't even a real hunt. She was mostly playing or rather toying with the rabbit. She hadn't seen any other wolves around and was bored. When she spooked the rabbit she saw a chance to play. Thus the 'hunt' began and would soon finish if the rabbit continued heading in the direction it was going.

Ears twitched at the sounds of something both small and big coming his way. Normally he would have to travel further into the woods, but having something come his way was a treat. With a soft chuckle, the brown winged male made his way towards the sound. This is all to easy, he though with a small chuckle. (Sorry that it's short)

The rabbit burst out of the brush running straight towards the winged male. It froze in place, it's nose twitching. It's ears twitched as it heard the wolf chasing it come closer. It hopped into action racing away to the right, away from both wolves.
The female soon came out of the woods, leaping over the bush that the rabbit had come out of. She barely noted the winged male, only took in the sight and sounds of the rabbit veering away from her. She turned to the right and was about to race after it when her brain registered the male. She paused, front paw lifted, and looked at him.

He could not help but to sneer at the direction the rabbit had taken off to. Though it was a small concern, the male's eyes changed direction towards the bushes. There before him came out a female, though he could not help it as he had let out a small chuckle. The way she had he paw lifted as she looked at him was like seeing a small pup caught red handed.
Though it was odd seeing another wolf out and about, the male had no clue on what he was to do. Was he to go after the rabit or was he to stand where he was at watching the female infront of him. The brown male's nose twitched a little as he tried to take in the scents around him.

Bright red eyes stared out from under the skull. Hearing the small chuckled made her tilted her head. The paw came down and she turned to face him completely, the chase forgotten. The black flames at her paws flickered and dimmed down. Her own nose twitched as she sniffed the air trying to catch his scent. He looked interesting enough. He had horns and those huge wings. And were those fangs protruding from his mouth? Not that she could judge him for his looks. She was odd looking herself.
"Evening." She said simply with a nod of her head.

The male made a scuffing noise, he was use to having other run away from him. Why? He was unsure, but there was one thing that he was sure about, and that was the fact that he was not use to speaking to others. His eyes darted towards the direction that the rabbit had taken off in. Should he ignore the other wolf or go after the food that he stomach demanded? The rabbit's probably long gone, he thought with a sneer. So that lead him to being with the other wolf.
"Hey," was his only reply. Maybe, just maybe he could slip away from her, the moon was almost up and shadows from the trees were starting to combine themselves with the darkness. It would be easy, but he perfered to fly rather to walk. But that would make too much noise. Oh what a predicament this was. Maybe he could stay, making friends was a good thing, right?

Farvardin stared at the male long and hard wondering if he would return her greeting. If he didn't he would soon learn how hard her head is. But he did speak, even if it was only a simple hey. Her eyes narrowed and the flames brighten, if black flames can, and rose a little higher. It showed her agitation at his response.
"Do you come out here often?" She asked not ready to give her name.

He stared right back at the female, and could not help but to chuckle as he watched the flames flicker. Was he a trouble maker? At times, but he did enjoy the responses from others. "Actually, I move around a lot." He replied with a smirk. Keeping an eye on her, the male slowly began to move a little, he did not want to break eye contact with her, but he also hated to stay in one spot.

She finally smiled at that answer. Her entire posture and aura seemed to change: her posture became relaxed and a puppish air suddenly appeared around her. "I like to move a lot too." She said stepping from foot to foot like she wanted to move but couldn't, "I'm Farvardin." She finally did move when he moved a little to far from her line of sight. She jumped up and quickly turned in the air so when she landed she could stare directly at him.

"Farvardin," he was testing the female's name out. It was rare to come across a name such as hers. But he was not going to toss her away because of it. There were plenty of names that were just as equally weird. But it never stopped him from meeting new wolves. "Erebus," was his reply. It came out rather smooth, and it did not stop him from smirking at the female. Allowing a vampire fang to be seen.
Another chuckle seemed to escaped him, as he watched the female jump and turn. Normally others were afraid of keeping an eye contact with him. But for some odd reason, he liked this female.

Farvardin nodded when he said her name. Hearing his made her get a curious look. That was a name of darkness which suited him. Seeing the vampire fang made her smile and flash her own fangs, even though they weren't anything like his. She didn't have any hidden surprises to show him, only the skull and the spine/rib bones. "Erebus.... those are some interesting fangs you have there."

Erebus laughed and shook his head. "Had 'em for a while," he stretched out his fore limbs. "It's not every night that I see other wolves out running about. Usually they are all asleep." It was an odd statement, but then again, he never really spoke to any other wolves, hardly any females.
Though it did not stop him from trying to make a conversation with the female before him. The smile never leaving his face.

She smiled at that. "Well of course you have. I don't think they'd grow in over night." She raised a paw and lifted the skull on her head. It revealed her face (which doesn't have any interesting scars or marking on it) and she set it back further on her head. She began scratching her muzzle, lowering her head to reach it better. When she was done she looked up at him. "Yeah most are sleeping around this time. I tend to be a night wolf though. I like the solitude and howling at the moon." She said setting the skull back how it was.

He could not help but to watch as she lifted the skull up and scratch her nose, this alone made him grin. "Or they could have," he joked as he sat down and continued to watch her. He was focusing on her and ignoring his stomach, oh he would catch something later on, but right now, he actually wanted to stay a little longer.
"So," he started with a small yawn, his red eyes were half closed. "Do you live around here?"
