I guess any student would say same as me:
no! exams have never been fair anyway :/ Too much stress for us to handle. Specially when you've got parents who always say: "You could have done better" every time o-o
Well yeah they do that because they care about us and all but really it just increases the stress level for me :/
On top of that, we have to cram so much info in our little brains @_@, deal with a changing body (I'm talking mostly about teens here), emotions we cannot understand yet, peer pressure and so much more! xp I'm currently a university student and guess what, sometimes I feel that some stuff I've learned in college/high school is just useless stuff :/ I didn't know they expected us to forget some of the stuff they made us learn :/

first of all congrats on winning the gold lotto honey *hugs*
and I'd say, you tell them that there are various ways to earn gold on gaia, Most common are Booty grab and zOMG. Tell them to try those games, they are lots of fun and you win lots of gold from them. And simply add that you stopped giving out gold to anyone. If they ask why, you can say that you are saving for a dream avi or something.
One thing I noticed is that once you start giving gold to someone, they always come back for more, worse is that they sometimes think you have an unlimited supply of gold.
I used to give some gold to my friends too but then I noticed that they only talked to me when they needed the gold, some of them even sent their friends to me. I got pm's like: "Hey I heard you helped my friend with her dream avi... could you donate *enters sum here* please?"
At first I gave them what they wanted but then, I had none left for myself.
Its not fair: You work hard for the gold, but others get to use it and you get nothing.
It all stopped when I started saying "no, I can't. I'm sorry"

Well I guess I will have to try that but I doubt it will work because they will ask me one week and then come back the following week and say "you are not a true friend if you don't help me. I was there for you when you needed help (which is bull crap because they weren't and they know that). Thank you for everything you said and I will take your advice and hopes it all goes very well
