I loved the Red/Blue/yellow games, simple, 151 awesome Pokemon. Really liked Gold/Silver/Crystal, 251, the perfect number..

Then Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald came out, great games, 386 Pokemon and that's where I started to think they were pushing the numbers a bit.

Pokemon diamond and pearl then came out a few years later and that was when I decided I couldn't even keep up, 493 Pokemon, I still played the games but can't remember any of the new Pokemon except for my team and the legendary Pokemon.

Now they're bringing in Black and White. stressed Bringing 156 new Pokemon to the series with now a total of 649 Pokemon that look a little... "Speed drawn"?

I'm not saying it's bad that there's so many just that they need some better ideas for designs otherwise I will go nuts looking at them AND trying to remember them. sweatdrop
Look the new ones up on serebii if your wondering what I'm talking about.

Am I the only one that thinks this?

Yeah, I talked a lot but I had 15 minutes to burn. xd

{I totally agree. I got sick of pokémon after the 3rd gen.
The only reason I got Pearl is cause my friends insist I get ether Diamound or Pearl.}

I'm debating between buying pokemon black or platinum... I want black because there will be a battle tower you don't need friend codes for but I want platinum because it's just a really good game. Anyone got an opinion?

Platinum is an alright game. Better then Pearl (even if I have almost every Pokémon in it).
Save still very teedist, unlike heartgold or soul silver.

Oooh, I see... Well it was only about a 10 second waiting time for the saving so it didn't really annoy me much.

I think I'm going to give black a chance when it comes out... Even if I go mad looking at the new types of pokemon....... burning_eyes

I KNOW! I loved 1st and 2nd gen. and 3rd gen. was okay. When 4th gen. came out I was like "... sweatdrop " Now that there's a 5th gen. I'm like " gonk So...many...Pokemons... burning_eyes "
