The world will have succumbed to long running tensions held between the super powers. The war will be the likes of which none have ever seen throughout all of history. Each nation literally throwing their entire army and arsenal at the other. Many died, some cultures and nations being entirely swept off the face of the earth. Atrocity after atrocity occurred and then one day, the war stopped. Each nation had exhausted their man-power, their treasury, and their morale. The only things left in this world were the broken lives and what was left of civilization.

100 Years later the world is a better place. The survivors of the old war and any other group with functioning industry and resources have banded together to form the United Peace Coalition. An organized government that represents the world as a whole and who's primary objective is to maintain peace in the world at all costs, as well as provide protection and safety to its people.
As the world rebuilt its self the UPC had declared that there shall be no standing armies in any nation, and that any sign of militarization would violate any and all treatise with the UPC. Nations found in violation are subject to immediate and unrelenting assault until rendered neutralized. As a show of faith and to maintain impartiality to their own enforcement however they also do not maintain a military. Instead a firm by the name of Schwarzwald Corporation emerged to fill in the role.
