When someone asks you for your ASL (age, sex, and location) do you tell the truth?

I normally feel really awkward if it's asked so frivolously and I probably wouldn't answer.
Which is weird considering if someone were to say so me "so how old are you?" or "Whereabouts do you live?" I would be okay answering truthfully [although I would be purposely vague on the location question]
I guess if they voice them out as actual questions it just seems like they're more interested or more caring than if they just say "asl?"
Not to mention I guess it offers more leeway since sex and gender may not align the same, but that's a whole other topic really.

I tell them my age and what gender I am and simply reply "Earth" for my location. I never do feel the need to tell people over the internet where I am from in the world unless I've spoken to them for a very long time. smile

I'll tell my age and gender. As for location I'll say U.S. and only be more specific after prolonged interactions with said person.

I do not mind telling my age and gender, I normally will tell only the name of the state that I live in and nothing further. That is unless I feel comfortable allowing someone to know more.
