So there is this guy in my class. He has a lighter and he flicks it at me when no one is looking. He keeps on saying he's going to kill me in this freaky voice and laughs like it's a joke. I don't know if it's a joke or not, but it scares the s**t out of me. I don't know what to do. If I tell he would probably find out and might hurt me. If I don't he could hurt me anyway. I really need some advice. Help?

Tell.
Tell the campus officer, the principle, guidance counselor, ect. . . By law he shouldn't even have the lighter on campus in the first place no matter his age or grade and the admin/police have to take all threats as serious.
It's better to risk his possible retaliation then to just let it happen and end up with another Columbine.

If you think you're gonna get hurt either way, the definitely tell someone so you have a better chance of not getting hurt. People are always afraid that if they tell, they'll get hurt. But realistically, this hardly ever happens unless the law, or whatever higher power, neglects to actually handle the situation.

um thats a threat and he has a lighter so at least i would get a tape recorder and tape him saying it as evidence.

But realistically, this hardly ever happens unless the law, or whatever higher power, neglects to actually handle the situation. Thanks. I told and they said if he kept on bringing the lighter they would do something. He did for a while, but he stopped. I just hope he doesn't bring it again.
