The game starts out with Link riding on Epona when a mysterious Skull Kid appears along with two fairies, Tatl and Tael. He knocks Link off Epona and takes his Ocarina of Time. Then, he steals Epona.
Of course, that was mean of him to do that! If you look around, you'll find an entrance that leads to a higher up one. Jump across the rocks and go in. If you run down the narrow hallway, you'll find the dastardly trio who attacked you. The Skull Kid will manipulate you and turn you into a Deku Scrub! Then he and Tael will run off, but poor Tatl will be left behind. She says if you help her find her brother, she'll help you.
Go through the door and into the hallway, then jump into the strange shrub by you. That is a Deku Buba. Then, jump out of it and you be using flowers to fly over to the unreachable ledge. They stop twirling after awhile, though. Open this door and it will lock behind you. Then, go use the flowers to reach the tree nearby, who will talk to you. After your talk, go into the entrance behind him. You'll go down a twisted hallway which will straighten itself out. The door behind will shut on you. Now go up the nearby ramp and then up the steps. You'll see the Happy Mask Salesman, who will tell you that you will be stuck in your current form unless you can retrieve your Ocarina. He will also tell you to fetch the mask the Skull Kid took from him.
During the first three day cycle, you will find yourself trapped as Deku Link, without an Ocarina, and unable to leave Clock Town. You cannot reclaim your Ocarina until the end of the 72 hours. So make the best use of this time by collecting as many rupees and items as possible.
Clock Town is divided into four main areas: North, South, East, and West Clock Town. Tatl will tell you to go see the Great Fairy in North Clock town so head north.

North Clock Town
North Clock Town doesn't have much of interest, but it is crucial to finish your adventure. Look left and you will see a ramp followed by a doorway. Enter and you will find the Great Fairy, but all scattered about in pieces. She says that you need to find the one stray fairy that is somewhere in Clock Town, so start looking!
The stray fairy can be tough to find and it changes its location depending on what time it is.
* If it's daytime... o You'll find the stray fairy hovering around the pool of water in the Laundry Pool. This is a little hard to find if you don't know where it is. Go to South Clock Town and look for the mailbox that is near the gate that takes you to West Clock Town. You will then see a ramp and this will lead you to the Laundry Pool * If it's nighttime... o The stray fairy will be located in East Clock Town, hovering between the Treasure mini-game place (shaped like a treasure chest) and the Stock Pot Inn. Use the conveniently placed deku buba to reach the stray fairy.
Once you have the stray fairy in your possession, take it back to the Great Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town and the Great Fairy will be back to normal. In exchange for your efforts, you will be able to use magic power that will allow you to blow bubbles from your nose like snot! If you hold down B, you can blow and shoot them. By holding B longer, you'll create a big bubble.
You probably be itching to try out your new power so why don't you help out the kid in North Clock Town pop that balloon? If you do, the kid will be amazed and will ask you if you would like to join their Bombers' Club...with a catch. Saying yes and you must now take the kids test to see if you qualify. To do that you must find all five of the Bombers' gang by touching them when they run away before the next morning and he will tell you something cool!
To improve your chances of winning, talk to the kid, named Jim, who is trying to pop the ballon in the morning. That way, you will have around 20 or so hours to find all five of them. Here are their locations:
* North Clock Town o One is very close to the second tree that is near the Great Fairy's Fountain o Jim, the leader, is hiding near the slide that is by the other tree. * West Clock Town o One is standing near the Bank and the Shop. * East Clock Town o Another is standing on the Milk Bar's roof. To reach it, go to the back of the milk bar and walk up the ramp. Once you get there, he takes a Cucco and takes off! He will land in the main ground before running around wildly. o The sneakiest one is found on the Stock Pot Inn's roof. To get up there, use the Deku Buba that is near the giant treasure chest shaped building.
[edit] East Clock Town
If you do find all of them before the next morning, Jim will teach you the code. The code is a five numbered code which is placed one through five without reusing a number. The code is completely random and will vary between save file and save file. Now you must talk to the Bomber in the orange bandanna and tell him the code. He will let you pass. [edit] Astral Observatory The Moon's Tear
Here you will face your first enemy of the game, a Big Skulltula, a weak enemy. Hop across the water and defeat the Big Skulltula with a bubble blast when it has it's back turned. Shoot the balloon with a bubble, climb up the ladder, and enter the Observatory. Climb up the stairs, on the platform, and speak to the man who is looking through the telescope. He thinks that a person is causing trouble around the Clock Tower so focus your sights there. Zoom in on the top of the Clock Tower to see Skull Kid atop it and watch as the moon drops a Moon's Tear to Earth. Go outside (not down the stairs), grab the Moon's Tear and head back.
If you want to dance with the scarecrow in the Astral Observatory, it will speed up time half a day. [edit] South Clock Town
Now you just need to investigate the Clock Tower to see how you get up there yourself! The man who was looking through the telescope said that the only way to get up there is by the stairs which only opens at the eve of the carnival. If you wait until midnight on the final day, the Clock Tower will reformat itself and the stairs to get to the top of the tower will be open.
Now you need a way to get up there. The yellow deku buba by the mailbox near the West Clock Town entrance looks to be the only way, only it's owned by another Deku Scrub. He says he will do anything to get his hands on a Moon's Tear so trade the Moon's Tear for the Land Title Deed. (which is pretty much useless now but it's the key to get a couple Pieces of Heart later!) Jump in, hover to the stairs, grab the Piece of Heart near the stairs, and go up the stairs to confront the Skull Kid! [edit] Clock Tower
Skull Kid sits there waiting, your ocarina tossing up and down in Skull Kid's hand. Tael, Tatl's brother, will appear and speak of Swamp, Mountain, Ocean, and Canyon, and to bring the four there here. Right now you don't know what that means, and you are running out of time! The Skull Kid will hit Tael and yell at him for speaking out of line. He will make a wish on the moon, that it will crash into Termina! You have 5 minutes to stop this fate from happening. Now you have to battle the Skull Kid...or do you? The only way you can damage him now is to shoot him with bubbles, but they have no effect! Make sure you make the biggest bubble you possibly can without it exploding. Skull Kid accidentally drops your ocarina on the ground. Pick it up and you suddenly are lost in a flashback.
It's Princess Zelda who gave you the Ocarina of Time for a keepsake at the end of Ocarina of Time. She will ask if you are leaving Hyrule. She also teaches you a song, "The Song of Time"! With this song, you can get out of the trouble you are in now.
After Tatl wakes you up and tells you that there is no hope, you must now play The Song of Time. Instead of an ocarina, you get a different instrument, Deku pipes, but they still work the same way. Then the game will ask if you want to save the game and go back to Dawn of the First Day. Say "yes".
You'll see several clocks appear and stop moving, along with flashbacks of the prologue before you entered the city.

Clock Town acts as a central hub for the game. After playing the Song of Time, you will always start out in South Clock Town at dawn on the first day. A map of Clock Town can be found on the Maps page. Contents [hide]
* 1 Back to the First Day * 2 The Song of Healing * 3 The Great Fairy Mask * 4 Clock Town's Places of Interest
[edit] Back to the First Day
As soon as you play the Song of Time, you'll be pulled backwards through time and find yourself back in Clock Town, only things have changed: it's the First Day again! When Tatl sees this, she gives you an apology for what she did to you before, and starts helping you on your quest. However, even after this, you're stil a Deku Scrub! [edit] The Song of Healing Gamepad icon.png Controller:
The curse on you needs to be broken, but there seems like there's no way to do it! However, you're very close to the answer. Go into the door right behind you, and you'll be in the Clock Tower Basement again. The Happy Mask Salesman is still here, and sees that you've returned. Excited, he gives you a nice greeting, but then goes and pulls out an organ. With it he teaches you a new song, the Song of Healing.
The Song of Healing is:
Left cY buttonY button Right cX buttonX button Down cZ buttonZr button Left cY buttonY button Right cX buttonX button Down cZ buttonZr button
The moment you play this song, the curse on you will break, and all that will be left of it is the Deku Mask. You can change into a Deku Scrub any time you want with this mask and assume its abilities.
Unfortunately, when the mask salesman learns that you didn't get the mask back, he'll become furious. After shaking you down and yelling at, he says that losing that mask was a terrible mistake because it holds horrible powers, and it could be a disaster if they were released. After a long conversation with him, leave the basement and return to Clock Town. [edit] The Great Fairy Mask
When you re-enter Clock Town, go down to Laundry Pool and catch the Stray Fairy again. The Great Fairy told you to come back now that you've returned to normal, so head back to the Fairy Fountain in North Clock Town, and when the Great Fairy re-appears, she'll give you the Great Fairy Mask, which makes Stray Fairies in temples come to you.
The great Fairy will also tell you about the four other great fairies that are in trouble, and that you need to help the four great fairies as well. When you approach the gate, Tatl will recommend going to the fairy in the swamp first. [edit] Clock Town's Places of Interest
When you're visiting Clock Town make sure you visit these places:
* Deku Scrub Playground: Here you can try to collect Rupees if you talk to the Deku Scrub running the game. He will let you play for 10 Rupees. If you set a new record on the first day, you'll get a Purple Rupee. If you set a record on the second day, you'll get another one. However, set a record on the third day and the Deku Scrub will be in shock that you're a pro at this game! You'll get a Piece of Heart as a reward but they will make sure you don't play the game again.
* The Bank: In West Clock Town, there is a bank. You can save or deposit rupees here. Right now you have a Child's Wallet, which holds up to 99 Rupees. If you save up 200 in the bank, you'll get an Adult's Wallet and you can carry up to 200 Rupees. Your rupee by the rupee count will change from a Green Rupee to a Blue Rupee and you will see a third digit appear in the rupee count. If you save up to 5,000 Rupees, you'll get a Piece of Heart. Deposit all the Rupees you get in the bank so you don't lose them going back in time.
* The Bomb Shop: Here you can buy a Bomb bag that can carry up to 20 Bombs. It comes full with bombs with its purchase. Only Link can use bombs. He cannot change into another form and use them. You can also later buy more bombs or Bombchus, which have the ability to crawl up walls, but it costs a hefty price to purchase them because of their rarity.
* The Bomb Shop shipment: In North Clock down, on the first day at Midnight, an old lady will approach from the west gate. A suspicious person hanging around the children's slide will ambush the lady and grab her luggage. If you hit the robber, and return the baggage to the lady, you will receive the Blast Mask, and allow purchase of the Big Bomb Bag at the Bomb Shop.
* The Treasure Box Shop: Here you can play a mini-game for an amount of rupees. The objective is to go over to a large treasure chest through a maze in the floor within the time limit.
* Mayor's Residence: You can get the Kafei mask here, if you offer to help find Kafei.
* The Stock Pot Inn : Run by Anju, this in has many people checking in and out of it each day. o In the afternoon, enter the inn and speak with Anju for a room key by saying that you have a reservation (this won't work if you spoke with her in the morning). From your room, you can collect a chest with rupees. o After the postman delivers a letter on the first day, return to Anju with the Kafei mask (if you have it). Anju is pressed with the matter of having to exchange a mask with her fiancé: Kafei. Kafei has a Keaton mask on, so it's easy to find him; he runs by in the main part of North Clock Town. (Note: While you do see the individual dropping the letter at 6:15 AM on the first day, you can't interact with him.) o On the final night, you can head into the employees room for additional rupees. o If you had a deed or some other form of paper, head into the toilet under the stairs at midnight on any day for a Piece of Heart.
* Post Office: On the first or second day in the afternoon, head to the post office and speak with the postman. To get a Piece of Heart, you need to count exactly 10.00 seconds without a visible clock. While the first attempt is free, additional attempts cost 2 rupees. The Bunny hood keeps the clock on-screen, and allows a small buffer when pressing the button. As mentioned by Tatl, you need to head to the swamp.
To proceed, you need to head through the swamp area. Bypass the first building, and head to the river in the left; you should see a large cauldron. Head down the pathway behind it (past the Deku babas) and you should see the Magic Hag's potion shop. Bypass this as well, and head into the forest behind the building.
Speak with the monkey, and follow him. He will lead you to another hag that was injured by the skull kid. Talk to her and return to the potion shop to get a Red Health potion (along with a glass bottle). Head back into the forest and give the potion to the injured hag.
Once you leave the forest, you will now need to head to first swamp building. Head to the cruise department, and because you helped her in the woods, she will give you a free cruise. You will receive a pictograph box that can take pictures, and get to perform a swamp cruise to the Deku Palace.

Deku Palace
When you transform into a Deku Scrub, you will be allowed to enter into the palace to watch the public humiliation of the monkey for kidnapping the princess. He claims that she is in the shrine and will be eaten by a monster. After speaking with him and leaving the royal chamber, you will be told by a monkey that you need to plant a magic bean on the eastern side of the palace and reach the secret entrance.
First, you need to learn how to use them. Enter the eastern palace garden (on the right of the entrance) and sneak past two rooms of guards to reach a hole. Enter the hole to speak with a person selling magic beans. He will give a free sample and explain how they work: you need to plant them in soft soil, and either water them or have the weather water it for you. You can purchase extras for 10 rupees each, but make sure you leave with at least bean and fresh water.
Exit the palace, and head around to the east outside the palace. Plant a bean in the soft soil patch and water it. (on the second day, the weather will water it for you). Ride the plant into a side entrance, and transform into a Deku. You will need to go to the other side of the garden without falling down; go from flower to flower to the other side of the garden and enter the main palace. [edit] Sonata of Awakening Gamepad icon.png Controller:
When you enter the cage, you will need to speak with the monkey. He won't give much information initially, but when you switch to human form, he will ask if you have an instrument. Your ocarina isn't loud enough, but when you switch back to deku form and show the deku pipes, he will teach you the Song of Awakening:
Up cLeft cUp cLeft cA buttonRight cA buttonUp cstick Left cstick Up cstick Left cstick A button X button A buttonUp rstick Left rstick Up rstick Left rstick A button X button A button
This song allows you to access the woodland temple. Before you are carried off, the monkey tells you to take the shortcut to reach the temple. [edit] Song of Soaring
When you are heading to the woodland temple, you will see an owl inform you about the Song of Soaring:
Down c Left c Up c Down c Left c Up c Down cstick Left cstick Up cstick Down cstick Left cstick Up cstickDown rstick Left rstick Up rstick Down rstick Left rstick Up rstick
This song now allows you to use the stone owls as warp points, thus allowing quick travel to and from town in order to meet certain schedules. In addition, it allows you to warp to a dungeon entrance. However, it won't work in other indoor environments. [edit] Swamp places of interest
* South of Termina Field is a small path that forks off to a shooting range. You need to bring your own bow.
* South of Termina Field is a piece of heart on a dead tree. This tree is climbable, but there is a keese guarding the container at point blank. If you don't have a ranged weapon, wear the Deku mask to take it out.
* The swamp building has a deku nearby, where you can Give him the land title for the deku flower in south clock square to gain access to the nearby piece of heart (and the swamp title deed). After giving the deed, you can purchase Magic Beans from the city. once you know how to use them.
* The western palace garden has a piece of heart. After the learning the song of soaring, proceed towards the woodfall temple.
You should reach a large watery area, filled with poisonous water. While you can head to the left to open a chest and get rupees, you need to cross the area to the right to reach the building on the far side of the river.
In the second room, reach the lower floor, and in deku form, skip across the water to the eastern door. Proceed through, and skip to the central flower. Dive in and fly to the chest on the north and retrieve the key. (You can proceed into the east to get the dungeon map. However, make sure you have a means of flipping turtles on their back, such as explosions.)
West of the second room, push the block forward. Walk around the plank, defeat the skulltula, and push the middle block east all the way. Light a Deku Stick (if you have none, head to the east and kill Deku Babas), and Light the southern torch, and go through the southern door.
In the southern room, kill the two dragonflys and get the compass. An ammo-free way of doing so is using the deku flowers, but you may have to use other attacks if they are too far away. Return north, light a deku stick and light the torch on the second floor. From there, burn the web on the north.
In the darkened area, kill all black poes to reveal a chest. With a deku stick, light the torches on the north, east and south walls.
In the next room, jump across the room using the flowers and proceed to the staircase on the other side. YOu will return to the second room on the upper portion.
In this room, press the switch in normal form to create two ladders to the lower floor. Go to the upper east exit and go through the south door. Kill the enemy to get the Hero's Bow.
With the bow, head back to the north, shoot the eye switch, and use the flowers to reach the other end. Go through the north door to fight a Gekko. When you hit the Gekko a few times, it will summon a Snapper to ride and attack. To defeat it when it's riding, use a bomb to knock the Gekko off, or dive into a Deku Flower and launch when it slides over. Use the Hero's Bow to inflict the last few hits.
The doors will unlock, allowing you to get the boss key.
In the central chamber, you will first have to shoot a fire arrow from the east-side of the room through a torch to the central shrine, then fire an arrow from the central-shrine to the torch in the north-west, to unlock the north upper door.

From the entrance, collect the two fairies (in front, and in the chest) and cross to the other side of the room. Be sure to approach the platform in the middle to avoid a surprise attack from skulltalas.
[edit] Odolwa Gamepad icon.png Controller:
The boss is Odolwa, a masked jungle warrior.
Wait for him to commence a spell where he tries to summon bettles, moths, or fire. You may need to dive and launch from the middle deku flower. Once he does so, attack him with your sword and land as many hits as possible.
Eventually, he will begin a spinning attack. Defend until he can is no longer hitting you, and retaliate. When he dies, collect the heart container and Odolwa's Remains. The innocent spirit will teach you the Oath to Order, raise the back door to the temple and purify the surrounding water.

Tatl will apologize for what she did you to you and your horse. When you Tatl suggests to go to the mountains, you will hear something behind you. Cut the door with your sword, and the Deku princess will talk with you. She asks you to find something to put her in to bring her to the Deku palace.
Return to the palace, and release her in front of the king.
After returning the princess, a shrine will be opened on the right. Go into the shrine and talk with the butler and follow him. You need to be quick while going through the course, as doors will close after a time limit, forcing you to restart the shrine. After completing it, you will receive the Mask of Scents. [edit] Stray Fairy locations
1. Directly in front of the entrance. 2. In the chest in the south-east corner of the entrance room. 3. In the second room, after killing the lower Deku Baba. 4. In the second room, after breaking the urns in the south-east corner. 5. West of the second room, by killing the skulltula. 6. West of the second room, under the wooden planks in the center. Fairy is located in a water bubble. You should raise the flower in the second room first, but it's possible to get the fairy without doing so (and survive). 7. West of the second room, shooting the honeycomb with the bow in the middle of the room. 8. Second floor, in the darkened room after killing all black poes. 9. After returning from the second floor by a staircase to the second room, in a bubble. 10. In the second room, by activing the switch in the north-west corner. Use the Deku flower to the north-east switch. Open the southern chest. 11. East of the second room, shoot a honeycomb located in the north-west. 12. In the room before the boss, in the lower southern alcove just east of the entrance. 13. In the room before the boss, in the upper southern alcove just east of the entrance. 14. In the room before the boss, in the western alcove. 15. In the room before the boss, within a fire-shielded pillar. The shield is lowered when the crystal is struck, but only for a limited time.
When you have all 15 stray faires, head to the south-east of the temple, where there is a raised tunnel. The Great Fairy of Power will improve your spin attack technique with a wider area of effect. It also allows you to do a quick spin attack (which doesn't cost power.) [edit] Places of Interest
Within Woodfall, there is a piece of heart in the gold-lined chest in the north-east corner. It is accessible from deku flowers starting from the great fairy fountain. [edit] External places of interest
* With a bow, you can now visit the two shooting galleries. One is in the swamp, the other is in town. You can also play the third day of another minigame in town. * With the Mask of Scents, you can head to the Forest of Mystery to locate a fragrant mushroom. Bring this to the potion shop, and you can later purchase blue potions (which recover energy and magic). By giving the first mushroom, you will receive the potion for free. After finishing the woodland temple, you need to head to the mountains to the north. You can't use a bridge to the mountains, you instead need to travel by foot. The slope to the mountains starts to the left of the center location.

However, it is blocked by ice. To break the barrier, take your bow and shoot down the icicle above. Another barrier of snow balls is located further up, and they can be blasted away.
You reach the first building of the mountain village; a smithy. While there are three pathways, one one of them is usable, and that is the area behind the smithy. It leads to the Goron village beyond in intermediate passage where you need to speak with the Owl. The Owl will make a small speech about courage, and you are asked if you want to proceed to the shrine. WHen you do, the Owl will fly slowly, droping feathers on invisible hovering blocks. Jump from block to block to the shrine.
The shrine has the Lens of Truth, which allows you to see invisible items. Collect it, defeat the invisible monster and open the invisible chest. When you return, you see a ghost hovering above a shadow. Speak to him, and follow him.
He will lead you back to the main mountain village, and up a river with icebergs. Use the lens to see what was an invisible ladder, and climb up.
When you enter the hero's grave, use the lens of truth to speak with him. Play the Song of Healing on the Ocarina to obtain the Goron Mask.
Pull the grave back to open the hot water spring, and unfreeze the Goron just outside. Also, be sure to smash one of the boulders in the valley before the Goron village, unfreeze the elder, and speak to him as a Goron. You will learn the Lullaby Intro.

You can now head for Snowhead Temple, but there are some other things to do first.
With the baby sleeping, you can light the rest of the torches in the main hall. Use the torch in the baby's chamber, and quickly light the other torches before they start stuttering out; go from top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, and jump from the top to bottom. This should light the torches without problem.
Switch to a Goron, and charge the chandelier. When you hit it, some food will fall down. Get the food, and bring it to the mountain village and receive the Don Gero's Mask. [edit] Places of interest
* The smithy can improve the strength of the sword once you pour hot water on the smithy's hearth. The bonus only applies for 100 attacks, but can be made permanent using gold dust. * A deku scrub in the Goron village will sell you a Bigger Bomb Bag for 200 rupees. You need the Big Bomb Bag to purchase it. * In the pass between the Mountain and Goron Villages, there is a hole covered in ice. Melt it with hot water to reveal another hot water spring. Once you have the Goron Lullaby, you can proceed to the Shrine. You have to cross two gaps with the Goron Jump. At the start, curl then move forward until spikes form. Jump up the both ramps to reach the peak.
There are high winds that are pushing you away from the peak. Tatl will mention something hidden in the blizzard, which is revealed by the Lens of Truth. Use it to see what's causing the problem; there is a Goron Gatekeeper that's blocking access.
Play the lullaby on the drums to put him to sleep, and to safely cross the bridge to the temple.
Climb up the ramp to the left to enter the temple.

Snowhead temple
In the entrance, push the block forward as a goron, and go through the right door. Still in goron form, charge across the bridge. Revert to Link, and head up the stairs and open the chest for a map.
Head back down, and go through the west door and into the main shaft. Head west to the yellow-bordered door. pull the blocks from the south, and get a small key. Push the blocks all the way to the west to reveal a chest (which you can't obtain from here).
Return to the entrance, and open the west door. Get the compass from the chest, and bomb the west wall to get to the second floor. [edit] Second floor
Shoot the icicles on the ceiling to reach the snow boulder. Smash it open and get the small key.
Past the south-east door, pound the yellow button as a goron, jump across as link, pound the green button as goron, pound the yellow platform as goron, climb the green platfrom as link, and exit to the north. You should reach the central shaft.
Jump across to the north, roll to the east, and jump to the west. Go through the door to fight a Wizrobe.
Hit the wizrobe just after it comes out of the teleporter. Later, it will create false images out of all four; it's true form looks slightly more opaque. When defeated, you will get the Fire Arrow.
With the new fire arrow, remember to do the following:
* In the room east of entrance, destroy the three monsters and melt the ice block. Get a small key here. * Collect fairies accessible only with the fire arrow; these are described below.
[edit] Third/fourth floor
Roll to the side passage, and melt the staircase located there.
Head to the basement, and use the Deku flowers to reach the first floor. Light the three torches, and head to the newly unbarred door. Pound the switch. Head to the second floor by the east route, and go to the shaft. Punch the two icy floors.
Go to the third floor via the sloped ground, and punch the two other icy floors. (The platform to the right gives access to both.) Go across the central pillar and destroy the boulders to reach the fourth floor. Jump across to the deku flower and take it to the side ledge.
You will fight another Wizrobe. This time, he will teleport away if you get too close. Switch to the bow and look for him as a red dot on the map and attack him. [edit] Goht
Goht is the Masked Mechanical Monster that will run around in circles within the arena.
Use the Goron form and curl into a ball. Ram him with the spiked until he dies. If you don't persue him or if he gets too far away, he will either turn and charge you or launch a semi-guided lightning bolt.
When he is hit, he will fire a lightning bolt at you.
As he takes damage, he will begin to kick up boulders, drop stalactites, and throw bombs. However, he will collapse from time to time if he takes damage, allowing you to inflict significant damage. [edit] Stray Fairy locations

Winter has passed, allowing the Goron Village to be opened up.
* The powder keg instructor asks you to destroy the rock blocking the entrance to the races. He gives you a large keg, which you have to throw up the ramps, and curl after it. * The Goron shop sells items for at a discount once winter has passed. * The powder keg can be used to open the Romani Ranch on Day 1 or 2. * Give the Swamp Title deed to the Deku scrub in the Goron Village to access a piece of heart With the ability to use powder kegs, you can now head to the ranch in the south-west corner by blowing up the boulder on the first day.

Romani Ranch
If you been here before on the third day, you would have noticed a girl suffering from a form of amnesia. Now, she is active and practicing with the bow. When you speak with her, you will regain your ability to use the horse as you relearn the song.
There are also a few sidequests to perform at the ranch as well. [edit] Great Bay
After getting Epona, head to the Great Bay to the west by jumping over the barrier.
After checking with the local fisherman, you will hear about a Zora floating in the ocean. When you push him to the shore, you will learn that he is the guitarist for the band. He mentions that the lead vocalist in the band has laid some eggs, and that Gerudo Pirates have stolen them, causing the vocalist to lose her voice. He then collapses from his injuries.
Use the song of healing to obtain the Zora mask. You can learn the Zora-specific controls from the gravestone.
With the Zora mask, you will want to activate the stone owl statues. One is located on the aquarium building at the sea, and a second stone owl is on the back of Zora Hall (to the south). [edit] Gerudo Pirates
Your first step in recovering the eggs is to enter the fortress to the north. Enter the pirate base to the north by ramming the underwater boards with the swim button.
Dive, and head to the north-east platform, surfacing only when the guards are away. Switch to Goron to pound the switch, and revert to Zora and swim to the newly opened gate.
In the next section, pull the first cement block, and push the second. The chest contains 20 rupees. Go up, avoid the mines, and enter the next room. To get the heart, switch to Goron, and roll to the opened door. To proceed, have Zora Link hit the switch crystal and quickly swim through the gate. Swim to the end, and up the ladder.
Stand on the switch, then stand on the grating, and use a ranged attack on the switch. Jump off on the next floor. Climb up the left ladder, look through the telescope (if you want to see the best route) and shoot the switch to get to the next door.
Enter the main fortress. You need to get up the ladder, and go across the rope bridge to enter the building. If you need to get past some guards, shoot them with an arrow or boomerang to knock them out. Enter the upper area, shoot an arrow at the wasp nest within the throne room. You can now enter this room to get a hookshot. [edit] Zora Eggs Gamepad icon.png Controller:
You need a bottle for each Zora egg. Once you collect an egg, drop them inside the Aquarium in the Great Bay coast. As you heard form the converstaion inside the throne room, four are in the fortress, and three are taken by large sea snakes. Three of these are guarded by pirates.
1. One is in the throne room. 2. Go to south-west section of inner fortress, take the east doorway. 3. Go to north of fortress, then take west doorway. 4. Go to the North, then climb to the north-east area. Hookshot across the left hand side, and exit via the door.
The remaining three are at Pinnacle Rock. To get there, you first need to knock out a pirate and take a close-range pictograph of one. Bring the pictograph to the fisherman to trade it for the golden seahorse.
Head to pinnacle rock, and kill all of the serpants. While you only need to kill those containing the eggs to proceed, defeating all the serpants will give you a piece of heart. A serpant can be killed using a shielded ram attack.
After placing the remaining three eggs in the aquarium, you will learn a new song, the New Wave Bossa Nova.

Warp to Zora Cape, and play the song to Lulu. This will awaken a turtle who asks you to climb on his back; do so with the hookshot to enter the Great Bay Temple. [edit] Places of interest
* In the sothern great bay during the daytime, you can break the jars in one shot as a Zora. Stand in front of the middle, and use the boomarang attack to take out all five. The prize is 100 rupees, but Jar replacement costs 10 rupees. This can be repeated indefinably to collect as many rupees as required. * In the Great Bay waterfall, dive down to the bottom and kill the Likelike. You will get a Piece of Heart.
[edit] External Places of interest
Your powder keg, horse, and zora's mask opens up a few more places.
* On the northern peak, defeat the boss of the Snowhead Temple and look in the water between the Mountain and Goron village. Open the chest to get a piece of heart. * On the first day, speak with Romani outside Romani Ranch about "them". After copleting the test return to the ranch at 2:30 during the first night, they will arrive. Hold them off until 5:30 to receive a milk bottle. * The ranch brothers in the south east corner will race you if you get a horse. Try to stay on the inside (right) portion of the track, even if it appears that you would run into a fence. As a reward you get Garo's Mask. * At 6:00pm on the second night, there is a milk shipment from Romani's Ranch. Climb the wagon and defend it to receive Romani's mask. * With the Romani's mask, you can enter the milk bar. Assist the Zora band manager with a sound test to receive the Circus Leader's mask. * In Ikana Canyon, you can obtain the Captain's Hat and Stone Mask. * With Garo's mask, you can complete the Anju & Kafei sidequest, but you can't enter the valley without first obtaining the Ice Arrows. The Great Bay Temple is a mechanical construct meant to control the Ocean's temperature. It's currently warmer than usual, which is unhealthy to the Zora eggs in the Ocean, and needs to be resolved.

Walkthrough File:LoZMM Great Bay Temple map.png Map of Great Bay Temple
The first room you will see is the waterwheel room. To get through the room, you need to turn on the yellow switch located under the water. This enables a water jet that you can use when you ride the eastern lift to the top.
The next room is the turbine room, which spins either clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the turn of the waterwheel. First, enter the south-east exit, and collect the map from the chest.
Enter the south-east tunnel, and reach the next room to collect the key. YOu may optionally get the compass as well from the same room. Enter the fast-moving water stream to return to the turbine.
Next, move to the north-west exit, and walk onto the red pipe exiting to the North. Collect as much magic power and arrows as you can to defeat the Wart. You first need to clear out the bubbles surrounding it with fire arrows, then hit it's eye when it's open. When it's low on health, it will release its protection, and begin to zip wildly around the room, but it still vulnerable to eye shots when it is open. If you need a safe area in the latter part of the fight, stand in one of the corners; you can also use the shield to block the fast moving attack.
Once defeated, you can get Ice Arrows, and freeze the octopods to the south. Climb to the central valve and turn it. Head to the south-east room again, and use ice arrows to build a path to the south door. Freeze the Blue Chuchu and climb to the red valve and open it. Return to the entrance room, hookshot the ceiling above the red water spout and turn the valve. This will stop the wheel; close the yellow valve to restart it.
Head to the north, and freeze the water flow blocking access to the ladder, Enter and use ice arrows to reach the green valve to open it.
Head north east from the turbine room, and surface to enter the first room. Freeze the floor to that room, and melt the ice on the door with a fire arrow. You will now fight a Mad Jelly and its Gekko assistant; to kill it, use Ice Arrows on both the frog and large jelly. When you hit the frog with an arrow, he will then jump to the ceiling and all the jellies will form a giant jelly around him. He will then proceed to get above you and try and trap you inside the jelly where he will strike you many times until he throws you out. You have to hit him with an Ice arrow when he is on the ceiling protected by the jelly. When you land a successful hit, the jelly will freeze and the frog will come crashing down to the floor. At this time is where you can land another arrow hit. Repeat this about 4 times or so and he will be defeated. Once defeated, you can exit to get the boss key.
Continue along the water route. Head up the lifts on the west, and jump onto the second lift. Freeze the ice channel above, and walk across the wheel to the next room.
Within the see-saw rooms, you need to stand on one side of the see-saw and either freeze or melt the water channels above. Go the far see-saw first, and use the two see-saws to reach and open the green valve. Head to the first one to return to the chamber south-west of the turbine.
Return to the turbine, and take the south exit. Open the final valve and enter the boss room, [edit] Giant Masked Fish Gyorg
Gyorg is a large piranha. It will ram the platform you are standing on if you stand near the edge. If you are standing in the middle when it is beginning its charge, it will jump over the platform, knocking you down. It will chase you if you are in the water and will drag you around if it catches you, hurting you in the process.
Shoot an arrow at it's head to stun it. While it's stunned, dive and use the electrified ram (R) to damage it. It will not stay stunned for long, so it is best to stun it while it is near the platform. This process will require changing your mask a lot.
When it is damaged, it will release little piranhas into the water. While the piranhas do damage when they attack, when destroyed they will each give you a heart. Continue fighting the same way, but avoid the little piranhas when in the water.
After Gyorg is damaged for the last time, it will flop onto the platform and leave a Heart Container and its mask. Be sure to grab the Heart Container first. [edit] Stray Fairy locations
1. Turtle room, light all four torches with deku stick or fire arrow. 2. Water wheel room, below the first platform. 3. Water wheel room, destroy the south-west skulltala. 4. When you have all fifteen, return to Zora Cape and leap from the rocks to the south and use the hookshot to travel to the rest of the stray rocks. Blast the boulders with the bomb, and head inside to the fountain.
The Great Fairy of Courage will strengthen your defense, causing enemies to inflict only half as much damage.

Garo's Mask
You will need the Garo's Mask in order to proceed through the canyon. The Garo's resembles the head of a Garo Ninja. Wearing it allows entry into Ikana Canyon, as well as the ability to encounter and battle against Garo Ninjas. If defeated, the Garo Ninja will reward you with a tip that may help you.
If ReDead see the mask, they will dance, allowing you to walk past them without any trouble.
To get the Garo's Mask, you must go to the Gorman Brothers' race track once you have Epona, and ask to race against them. If you win, they will award you with the Garo's Mask. [edit] Ikana Valley
Ikana Canyon is the region to the east of Clock Town, and the place where the final temple, the Stone Tower Temple, resides. It is known to be a cursed land where the Ikana Kingdom once existed, being home to the dead and filled with spirits who linger with regret and hatred. The Garo Ninjas can also be found here spying on the deserted land.
The entrance to Ikana Canyon is blocked by fences that can only be jumped over using Epona. Moreover, to get to the inner part of the canyon, show the Garo's Mask to the Poe salesman, who sits up top a cliff that is right before the entrance to the Ikana Graveyard. By doing so, the ghoul will make a tree appear beside him, allowing you to hookshot up to it and continue on his way. [edit] Ikana Graveyard Gamepad icon.png Controller:
The Ikana Graveyard is the resting place of the majority of the fallen family members of the King of Ikana Castle, and as such, you can find some Stalchildren wandering around at night, who are the loyal undead soldiers of the Ikana Kingdom. The gravedigger, Dampé, can be found here as well after first making an appearance in Ocarina of Time. In this incarnation, Dampé is quite timid, but can still be quite helpful.
At the end of the graveyard lies the sleeping Captain Keeta. Near his skeletal remains is a sign which states that anyone who awakens him is to battle him in order to extinguish the flames surrounding the treasure chest above him. You must play the Sonata of Awakening to wake the sleeping giant. Once the song is played, Captain Keeta rises from his sleep, and challenges you to a race. As you chase Captain Keeta, you will run into barriers of fire, in which in order to continue pursuit, you have to defeat some enemies. You can use Fire Arrows to stun Captain Keeta in order for you to get a good hit. Once you strike him, the actual battle will begin with him. He will use basic attacks against you, but after a while, he will try and crush you by jumping in the air and trying to land on you. quickly dodge the attack and continue to attack. You can still stun him with Fire Arrows to make the battle easier. Once he is defeated, he will tell you of his origins and allow to retrieve the Captain's Hat from the chest that is right across from where you will end up.
The Captain's Hat, which houses Skull Keeta's soul, allows you to talk to the Stalchildren that appear at the graveyard every night. Talking to them while wearing the Captain's Hat allows Link to open the gravesites that the undead soldiers are guarding. Now, on the first night, is the most important night to use this mask. Go back to the graveyard and you will notice three Stalchildren walking around a grave. Talk to them and they will ask for your next command. Command them to open the grave, and then enter.
Once inside, you should be able to jump to a doorway. Fight the bats using the spin attack (or near the end with a ranged attack) to receive a chest of 50 rupees. Then, light the three torches to unbar the door. You will then have to fight an Iron Knuckle. These guys can be pretty tough so try and dodge its attacks or you will suffer some good damage. You can also use Bombs or Bombchus to attack from a distance. Once defeated a curtain will rise and Flat, one of the Composer Brothers, will appear to tell his story and teach the Song of Storms

When wearing Garo's mask, you will be given hints on how to proceed through this section, as well as the situation.
The canyon is blocked by a river. To cross it, freeze the two octopods and jump across them. Hookshot to the two trees, and to skip repeating the tasks in the future, strike the owl statue just behind the final tree.
When you enter the ghost town wearing Garo's mask, you will encounter Garo's that will attack you. When you defeat them, they will give you a hint on how to proceed.
Reach the Spring Water cave at the top of the ghost town. Encounter Sharp, and play the Song of Storms. His curse will be broken, and the water will begin to flow. This begins to power the music house to disperse the Gibdos surrounding it, and unlocking the door.
Your next stop is to head into the house when the girl heads to the well (every second hour). Head downstairs to see a half-Gibdo; play the Song of Healing to dispel the curse and collect the Gibdo mask. Use the mask to enter the well. [edit] Well
When you enter the well, the doors are barred and guarded by Gibdos. To pass through, you need an item that they demand.
* First room: Blue potion (north) or 5 magic beans (east) * 1 East: 10 deku nuts (east), or a bottled fish (north) * 2 East: 10 bombs (north), or hot spring water (east) * 1 North: Fishh (west), or water (north) * 1 East 1 North: Bug (west), or a big ghost (north) * 2 North: Bug (east or north) * 1 East 2 North: Milk
Item locations:
* Hot spring water is located 1 north and 1 west. * Milk is located 3 east. * Big Poe is located 2 east, 1 north.
In the final room in the north east, light all four torches and get the Mirror Shield. Use the Mirror shield to reflect the light beams onto the sun icons on the two walls. [edit] Ancient Castle of Ikana
With the mirror shield, you can now use a small hole beside the castle's front gate to remove the sun block. The light reflected by the mirror shield will also destroy some enemies.
If you do not already have a powder keg, purchase one from Clock Town.
Enter the castle, and head through the left door (after melting the left pillar switch). Strike the crystal switch, switch to Deku form and dive into a Deku Flower near the raised switch and wait. Once the ceiling reaches the ground, jump out to force it back up. Dive in again, and reach the switch. Revert to normal form to unbar the door.
In the next room, use the lens of truth to see how to reach the switch in the nearby corner. Stand on it, and shoot down the Skulltulas. Jump across to the other side of the room and pass through the door. Note that falling down will cause the room to reset, requiring you to press the switch again.
Proceed up the stairs. From the roof, you have access to a Piece of Heart to the side of the castle by shooting a switch and using Deku Flowers, but you will have to go through the castle again. To proceed, climb and walk along the outer ledge to the front. Dive into a deku flower, and reach the floor switch to open a hold in the ceiling.
Return into the castle, and take the right door, by shooting the appropriate wall switch. Use the mirror shield to reflect light onto the sun block, and pass through to the next room to fight a Wizrobe.
As with the other Wizrobes, you need to hit him when he exits his stand. However, he will return if you are too close when he is coming out. When he is wounded, he will create decoys to distract you; however, his correct location is shown as a red dot on the minimap.
Head up the stairs and put a powder keg in the cracked floor in the middle. Jump into the hole and walk into the main corridor to speak with the king.
To defeat the king, you need burn the curtains blocking the light, knock down the two guards with your sword, and reflect the light onto the solders. Repeat the same procedure for the king, however, he will occasionally split his head from the main body, allowing him to attack even when you are standing in the lit area.
Once defeated, he will teach you the Elegy of Emptiness:

Proceed to the stone tower. [edit] Places of Interest
* The deku scrub will sell blue potions for 100 rupees each. He is located on the right, before the river. If given the Ocean Land Title, you will receive 200 Rupees. * In the Ikana Graveyard, you may sometimes order the wrong grave opened (e.g. on the second or final night). In this case, you can still reach a piece of heart. After jumping in, use the lens of truth to reveal a hidden door. In the next room, monsters and some floors are invisible, and need the lens of truth to see. At the end, you should see a small room with a weak wall that can be bombed. Blast it open and enter the final room. Battle the Iron Knuckle to obtain a piece of heart.
[edit] Easter eggs
* On the south-east pillar in Ikana Castle, there is a paper airplane. To reach the stone tower (or at least it's stone owl), you need to learn the Elegy of Emptiness, or use the Bombchu hovering glitch. However, you may still need to use the Elegy in order to proceed through the tower.

Climbing the tower
To reach the top of the tower, you need to stand on each button, and as Link, Goron Link or Zora Link, use the Elegy of Emptiness on one of the buttons. This will weight down the switch, allowing you to jump across the three moving platforms.
These switches come in sets of three; to reach the next switch, use the hookshot to reach the next floor. Once you cross the three stone blocks, you should see another set of three switches. Ignore these, as they are for a downward trip.
After each set of blocks, climb up with the hookshot and repeat the procedure. You should eventually reach an owl status that you can strike to use as a warp point. [edit] Stone Tower
In the entrance, head to the left. In the next room, blast the cracked wall, and place one of the crates on the switches, and play the Elegy of Emptyness for each of your forms on the other switches. Pass through the door, bomb the tiled area of the floor, and head downstairs.
Reflect light onto the block, and hookshot to the chest. Open it to get the map. Switch to Goron form, and smash the four statues on the lava or near the chest. A new chest appears to reveal a key.
Return to the first floor, go through the door and swim through the area as Zora. Use the dexihand to throw yourself on the ledge, to get the small key. Proceed through the tunnel, and when you reach the area east of the entrance, you will see a sun block in the way. Walk onto the light area, and reflect light into the mirror for seveal seconds. Quickly run towards the mirror's light beam, and reflect its' light onto the block, to open up the right entrance path and to get the compass.
Head through the north door. Punch the three disks as goron, and reflect the light to open the north sun block. This requires you to charge the first mirror as long as you can, and as soon as you stop charging, enter the first beam and have it chrage the second. After the second stops charging, enter it's reflection and light the north block.
As a deku, enter the flower and fly across to the front entrance. The updrafts will recharge your flight distance, allowing you to span the entire lava area.
Fight the Garo master by dodging his attacks by a backflip or side flip, and attacking when he looks confused. WHen he dies, you gain access to light arrows, which can be used as a sacred light (and can also remove sun blocks.)
Return to the entrance, and invert the temple by shooting the glyph with a light arrow. [edit] Inverted temple
After re-entering the temple, head east. Light the block, and as Deku, fly forward, and off to the left side to reach the upper far entrance. In the corridor, press the switch and return to open the new chest. Switch to deku and take the upper left exit.
Use the light arrow to rotate the temple, walk across as goron, and revery the temple to inverted form.
In the next room, you need to slide the block into the socket, inverting the temple as necessary.
Fight the Wizrobe demi-boss. After defeating him, hookshot to the chest and proceed to the next room.
Use deku flowers to fly above the sky, and then again to the southern area. Weigh down the switch, and open the chest to get a key.
Return, and proceed to the next room, shoot the mines with an arrow, then fly across.
Fight Gomess by shooting him with light arrows, and by swinging the sword when the bats disperse. If you are low on arrows or magic, light a bomb and throw it to destroy a large number of bats (at least one of which should provide a powerup.)
Return to the room with the open sky and mines; shoot the mines, cross over, then take the south exit.
Kill the Death Armos by shooting it with your light arrow. Then quickly jump across. The Death Armos should pound itself into the ground and explode. Hookshot to the chest and exit through the north.
Defeat the eyegore and collect the Giant's Mask. Proceed north.
Strike the switch in front, and hookshot to the now-revealed chest. Hookshot again, and proceed north. [edit] Twinmold
Twinmold is a set of two giant worms. They have a weak attack, but are only vulnerable to direct hits on the head or tail.
The easiest method to slay them is to obtain the Giant's mask and slash at them. However, if you run out of magic power, you will need to grab the orange potions or rely on arrows or hookshot.
You can also stand by one of the obelisks towards the edge of the arena and wait for one of the worms to destroy it for you. The obelisk will yield a green potion and some arrows--but be quick!
Wandering too far away will cause you to fall out of the arena and return to the entrance to the tower.
After the final scene, the curse on Ikana is lifted. [edit] Stray Fairy locations
1. Entrance room, Shoot the switch on the left eye and open the chest in the middle. 2. Western basement room. Hookshot to the ceiling and open the chest. 3. Northeast room with disks and mirrors: Chest in the east-side of the central pillar. 4. Northeast room with disks and mirrors: Chest behind eastern sun block 5. North lava room, use deku flower to reach platform with rupees and open chest. 6. North lava room, as Goron, pound the switch in lava, and roll to the switch on the other side before the force field reactivates. As Deku, fly across to the other side. 7. In the water room returning from the fight with garo master, kill the Eyegore. A chest will appear. 8. In the water room north of the entrance, after getting light arrows and returning, shoot the sun block on the east and hit the crystal switch. Shoot the left sun block and open the chest. 9. Inverted entrance room, illuminate the sun icon with light arrow (if not done already) and open the chest. 10. Inverted east room, as deku, fly to the right-side of the room and weight down the switch. Fly to the left, and then to the chest on top to get the fairy. 11. Inverted east room, Melt the eye switch, and as Deku, fly on the center updraft and reach the lower room doorway. You can't go through, but you can open the chest. 12. Inverted lava room containing Wizrobe. Open the chest that appears when you defeat him. 13. Upright, entrance room floor after unlocking boss route. 14. Upright, south of demi-boss after unlocking boss route. Head via the northern lava room and open the chest on the return trip. 15. In inverted east room, shoot the sun icon near on the high southern platform. Return in the upright east room.
When you have all 15 fairies, return to the small building to the right of the Stone Tower. The Great Fairy of Kindness will thank you for your aid and grants you the Fairy's Sword. This two handed weapon is the most damaging, but you won't be able to block attacks with your shield.
Once you obtain the remains of the four major enemies, you now meet the requirements to complete the game. Complete all sidequests at your leisure, using the song of time to restart as necessary.
As with the beginning of the game, you need to arrive at the clock tower within the final six hours. To skip forward to the final night, perform the Song of Double Time.

Clock Tower
Initially, you needed to collect the Moon's Tear to reach the tower. Instead, you can walk up a small ramp from the side and climb to the entryway.
In this encounter, you have a chance to change the result. Play the Oath to Order, and the moon will be stopped. Spoiler[show] The four giants together are successful in stopping the moon. However, it is revealed that Majora's Mask was using the Skull Kid as a puppet and disposes of him. He heads into the moon, forcing Link to follow. [edit] The Moon
The moon appears as a plain of grass, with a lone tree in the middle.
You can speak with the people running around the tree and give them masks. When you speak with them, you can give non-transformation masks to enter a sidequest. Each sidequest has you complete a course and has you give masks at the end. Each one provides a Piece of Heart.
You cannot give the masks for Deku, Goron or Zora forms. [edit] Odolwa
As a deku scrub, jump from flower to flower. Remember that flowers have a limited horizontal range from the point of the jump.
Head to the far right corner for a piece of heart The far left corner leads to Odolwa, where you can give a mask; however, you cannot travel directly between these two corners. [edit] Goht
Give two masks. As Goron, curl and roll forward, without turning manually, until you are approaching two green urns. Dancer's spirit in the Termina fielad, and Captain's Hat in Ikana's Graveyard. Begin a right turn into to the rest of the track, followed by a right, two lefts. After a final left, jump over two gaps, and fly straight into the chest. Greay Fairy's mask, from Termina City. Get the piece of heart, and jump to the next track, stopping at the green urns. Walk to the left, stand on the far side of the teleporter, and charge to the final door.
Give two more masks and you will return to the Moon. [edit] Gyorg
Give three masks.
When you dive in, you swim through a maze of pipes. When you surface, you either reach a gossip stone which reveals a location of a mask, or you reach the person wearing Gyorg's mask.
Take a left, a right, left and left to reach a piece of heart.
To reach Gyorg, the path is left, right, left, right. Give three more masks once you find Gyorg. [edit] Twinmold
Give four masks to Twinmold to play a minigame. You need to fight enemies, and learn location of masks after each room. Part 1 Task Mask Defeat a Dinofol. Mask of Truth, in a gold skulltula house Defeat a Garo Master. Kafei's Mask, from Madame Aroma Defeat an Iron Knuckle, use Bombchu/arrow on a wall to reveal a ladder. Bunny Hood, from Cucco Shack and All-night mask at Curiosity Get piece of heart, then hit ceiling with bombchu/arrow ceiling. Keaton Mask, from Curiosity Shop owner
After this, you need to give four more masks.
[edit] Majora's Mask LoZ Majoras Mask fierce deity link.jpg
When you are done, speak with the individual sitting next to the tree. He happens to be wearing Majora's Mask. If you gave all your masks away, you will receive the Fierce Deity's mask. This final mask is the most powerful of them all, turning you into a godlike form with the Double Helix Sword, which can fire off powerful surges of energy This will significantly reduce the difficulty of the boss fight with the ranged sword attack.
Talk to the child, and you will enter your final battle. The boss remains will fly across the room and attach to the wall, awakening Majora's Mask.
The first form of the mask has several tentacles coming out of the mask, and the mask will float around randomly. When it turns around, shoot an arrow at it to stun it, while you rush towards it and hit it with your sword. It attacks by spinning rapidly on the ground and making passes. Dodge these by sidestepping or by using your shield.
When it runs low on health, the four surrounding boss remains masks will detach from the wall and begin to fire projectiles. Destroy them as soon as possible, as they remain for the remainder of the battle.
The main mask will then shoot a laser beam, which needs to be reflected by the Mirror Shield back at the Majora's Mask.
When you defeat this form, don't get too comfortable, as the mask doubles in size and sprouts arms legs, and an evil eye! [edit] Majora's Incarnation
Majora's Incarnation is rather cowardly. It will run around the arena constantly, occasionally firing energy bolts. Defend against them with a shield, and when you see the mask stand still (or if you otherwise can guarantee a hit), shoot an arrow to stun it. Quickly approach and inflict as much damage as possible.
With this form defeated, you'll invoke the full fury of Majora's Mask. [edit] Majora's Wrath
The mask will strengthen its limbs, draw two whips, and sprout a demonic head from its eye. As with the previous form, you need to hit Majora with the Light Arrows to stun it, then rush with your sword with a leap attack.
The two whips have full range within the arena and can hit you regardless of position. To avoid damage, you must use the shield or otherwise defend against attacks.
When Majora's Wrath is low on health, spinning tops will begin to be released, which will try to follow you around. The tops will eventually wobble to a stop and explode.
With enough attacks, you'll finally destroy the malevolent Majora's Mask!

The Bombers Note Book
How to use the Notebook
The Notebook can hold up to 20 people. Each person that needs your help each have a specific spot in the book. To get that person recorded, all you need to do is simply talk to the person once you have the notebook. When you have the person recorded, you will see their name, information about that character, and their complete three-day timeline. The area in the timeline is shaded in blue. The complete order of people and their general location is listed below. [edit] List of People
* The Bombers (Automatically filled in) * Anju (Stock Pot Inn on Day 1) * Kafei (Laundry Pool on Day 2) * Curiosity Shop Man (West Clock Town in shop at night) * Old Lady from Bomb Shop (North Clock Town on Night of Day 1) * Romani (Romani Ranch during day) * Cremia (Around Romani Ranch during day) * Guru-Guru (Laundry Pool at night on day 1 & 2) * Mr. Dotour (East Clock Town) * Madame Aroma (East Clock Town) * Mr. Toto (East Clock Town or in Milk Bar on day 1 & 2 at night) * Gorman (East Clock Town or in Milk Bar on day 1 & 2 at night) * Postman (Wandering Clock Town during the day) * Rosa Sisters (Stock Pot Inn during the day; West Clock Town at night on days 1 & 2) * ??? (Stock Pot Inn at Midnight) * Kamaro (North Termina Field at Midnight) * Anju's Grandmother (Stock Pot Inn during day 1 & 2) * Grog (Romani Ranch) * Gorman Bros. (Next to Milk Road) * Shiro (East Termina Field, invisible)
Each one of these people had a problem that has been effected by the Skull Kid and it is your job to help. They are only around during the blue spots on their timeline. As you learn more about that character, you will figure out where they are and what you need to do to help them.
* A ! means that an event took place or will take place at that time. If it is shaded in yellow, it means that you have already completed the task already. * A small red ribbion appears that means that the event you did got you a prize, which is usually a Piece of Heart. When you highlight the ribbion, the prize will be listed. * A mask will appear if you got a mask from that person. * A happiness sticker is located on the very right side of the page. It tells you that all problems for that person are cleared and are happy again. The primary goal of the Notebook is to collect all 20 Happy Stickers in the game. To get all of the prizes, you will need to get all 20 Happiness Stickers.
To get all 20 people happy again, look in the Table of Contents.

Requirements
* Human Link (for the notebook)
[edit] Rewards
* Bombers Gang Password * Bombers' Notebook
[edit] What to Do
Begin by playing the Hide and Seek game with the Bombers Gang, by first popping the balloon in North Clock Town. Find their locations (See Prologue for more info). When you find all the Bombers as Deku Link or as a non-human, they won't accept you into the gang, but they will treat you as an honorary member and give you their password required to access the observatory. However, if you are in Human form, they will give you their password and the Bombers Notebook, which contains the password, the time, and records of the troubled lives of people that you've helped.
While the password changed from game to game, it remains constant for that saved game.
An alternate method is to use the password you learned in the Prologue to get into the Bomber's Hideout as Human Link. When you leave, you will be given the Bomber's Notebook.

Requirements
* A paper item (i.e., Deed or Letter) * Room Key (Optional)
[edit] Rewards
* Piece of Heart
[edit] What to do
Begin by going into the Bomber's Hideout and use the telescope to get the Moon's Tear, then trade the Pearl for the Land Title Deed. On the first day at 1:45 PM, enter the Stock Pot Inn and speak with Anju as Normal Link. She'll ask you if you have a reservation. Respond "Yes" and she'll look at her book. Apparently your name is in there! She gives you the Room Key, which allows you to enter the Stock Pot Inn after 8:00 PM.
Deku Link can also enter the inn from the second floor, using a nearby deku flower. When you fly onto the balcony, the door allows access to the inn (but not the rooms on the first or second days).
Enter the Inn on Midnight of any day and go to the toilet (Located underneath the stairs on the first floor). A hand will come out asking for paper. Hand over a deed (or a letter) and he'll use it for his... business. Afterwards, he'll throw a Piece of Heart out of the toilet.
