xxxxxxxxxxxx WHEREtoSTART?
o great ↘↘ Athena
hesiod has called me this ↘↘ Some of the names which I have been given are Pallas, Athene, Pania, Ergane, Tritogeneia, Glaukopis, Minerva, Neith, and Gorgopis among many others.
it should be obvious ↘↘ Female, of course.
it does help with the mortals ↘↘ I’m known for my fierce gray eyes, but that’s not all my looks are defined to. I have long, often slightly curly blond or brown hair, and I’ve become fond of hair bands, especially those with elegant designs. No, hot pink does not count. While on Olympus I wear a flowing white dress with gold trim, but I try to avoid wearing that form of clothing while in the mortal world or while giving a helping hand to demigods. When I’m not wearing “traditional” dress I wear comfortable cloths, cloths I can plan in peace in. That usually means something along the lines of jeans and a sweatshirt if not something more formal like a suit.
bow down↘↘ My sphere of influence is mainly civilization, wisdom, strength, strategy, crafts, justice and skill.

xxxxxxxxxxxxTHEtree'sLEAVESareTORNlikeOURhistory can't live without them ↘↘ My parents are Zeus and Metis, the titan of thought and wisdom. playing nice ↘↘ My history is strange and wonderful, although long. I have yet to write it down so I will give you a basic summary.
I was born on a morning in the strangest way. Instead of having formed out of something elegant I was born from Zeus's head, litterly. The events between Zeus and Metris can be left to those who wish to learn. They are well known and if want to learn what they are then you can simply walk into any book store and use your head to find the story.
After that "excitment" Zeus gained a terrible migrane. He couldn't stand the pain and soon he called on Hephaestus to crack his head open. I'm sure I don't need to tell you what Hephaestus did, as it seems obvious, but to those who can't figure it out I'll asure you that he did as Zeus bade. From Zeus's cracked skull I lept, full armor. From then on I've helped my father as his advisior. Sometimes I come down to the mortal world to observe mankind and assist those in need or to give punishment.
Although I am a mother, I am also a virgin. I swore a pledge of virginity, but, unlike my half-sister Artemis, I have not disregarded men. It is rare, but I do produce children but in a way only used by me. I love my children and I claim them at birth, unlike the rest of the gods. having my eyes ↘↘ I'm the mother of heros such as Annabeth Chase, Malcom, Erictonius, George Washington, Frederic Bartholdi, and Daedalus. heart heart ↘↘ I took a pledge of virginity, so I'm obviously not wed. breaking arms↘↘ It would be imprudent to name those whom I dislike, but my rivalry with Posidon is well known.

I have a will which I refuse to let waiver, determination, and patience. going back ↘↘ I invented the flute, the trumpet, the earthenware pot, the plough, the rake, the ox-yoke, the horse-bridle, the chariot, and the ship. I first taught the science of numbers, and all women's arts, such as cooking, weaving, and spinning. I created the Gorgons and helped King Odysseus and many others on their quests.
