Ever wondered what type of hero or villain describes your character the best. Well look no further, with my list of archetypes you will learn a bit more about everyones character. If more than one archetype applies to your character then post em.

Villains
Anarchist: They plan on destroying the current order of things; They will do anything to disrupt society and create chaos and disorder. They have their own personal philosophy about life.
Hired Gun: Will do anything for money; They will not care about who gets hurt only about that next paycheck. While only being single minded they are experts at accomplishing their goals
Mastermind: Planners and manipulators; they will backstab, trick and lie to anyone to get to the top or stay there. These criminals know how to handle power.
Outcast: A person living outside of society; They have a grudge against everyone who is normal. This villain is more likely to act out of both hate and survival.
Thug: Will be bad for the fun of it; This villain has no particular goals although depending on the circumstances will act according to their own benefit.
Outsider: Coming from another realm; This villain only purpose for coming is for control or power. They try to destroy society so that they can build up their own or for the simple fact that they believe the people are weak.
Soldier: Live only to serve; These living weapons act neither for goals nor personal belief, they live only to follow their masters orders.
Evil Genius: A scientist whose only focus is to change the world with science. Whether it's for the better is completely up to them.
Righteous Villain: They would like to think that they know what's best for people but their wrong choices and bad decisions make them villains
Heroes
Student: Coming from a school for heroes; These heroes work to aspire to be better than their predecessors. These heroes are trained from the start and grow up to be great.
Mercenary: These heroes work for hire; They will do odd jobs and other things for money. Despite the job they will always follow their moral code and will never go against it.
Visitor: They come from another society and choose to live their lives helping the native creatures called humans.
Playboy: Heroes who have the money to get the job done
Patriot: Heroes either trained or given power by the government. They use tactics and strategy for whatever reason they are called.
Underdog: An everyday ordinary person who has the power to help people. That person decides to use their unique gifts for the good of society. If not they try to usually live as normal as possible.
Detective: This hero will solve any crime and will close any case. Their goal is to create order by cracking down on crime.
Prodigy: Heroes who use their smarts rather than power to make a better world for society.
Anti-Hero: These guys don't play nice, they will use both the good and the bad for both the right and wrong reasons. Since they fight villains they are considered heroes.
