Hello, tap dancers of Gaia! Welcome to my guild! This is the introduction topic where you can tell us a bit about yourself. Please tell us:
- How long you have been doing tap for
- What other dance styles you do
- What your favourite dance style is (even if it's not tap, that's ok!)
- Anything else you would like to share!
I will start. So my (screen) name is Maniaxe. At the time I have posted this, I am 24 and I have been doing tap for about five years. I also do hip hop, but tap is my favourite! And since this is Gaia, I have to admit that I love anime, video games, super heroes, and drawing. I also like to sing, rap, learn languages, design web sites, and design video and computer games.

Hi!! I'm H♥lly. I've been taking dance for a total of almost 11 years. I've been taking tap for 8 or 9 years(not in a row, I took a break from it at some point). I also take ballet, jazz, and lyrical/modern/contemporary(very similar things that are sometimes the same) My favorite is probably lyrical, closely followed by jazz and ballet. But I love all the dancing that I do. And, obviously, tap, otherwise why would I be in this guild, right? I love pink, ribbons, cupcakes, kitties, nail polish, lip gloss, glitter, tutus, sticky notes, jewelry, panda bears, lollipops, DANCING, being busy, sleeping in late, hugs, staring at people until they talk to me, shoes, hearts, emoticons, my laptop, brushing my hair, and lots of other things that seem irrelevant....not that most of the things I listed were relevant, anyways. Well, that's all I have. So, thanks, and have a fabulous day!! ^.^

Hi im Strawberry! I am 14 and in 9th grade. I am a aspiring performing artist so im in theater, choir, and dance. I started when i was 4 but i took a 5 year break between 4 grade till now. I do a variety of styles because of my dance class at school but im best at tap. I mostly dance in musicals so its a lot of characterized dancing. Tap is defiantly my favorite because ive bin doing it so long and i do it the best!

Nice to meet y'all (: .
My name is Hanna (Or Aurri. Whichever works (: ) I've been tapping since I was 5, so I would say between 10-11 years of tapping. Tap and ballet are actually the only styles of dance I have done consecutively over the years. My favorite style of dance is contemporary...It's not too much like ballet, nor not too jazzy (: .After that it's tap, ballet, jazz, african and capoeira styles, then lyrical. My favorite tap step(s) would be time steps (prefferably triples.. But singles and doubles are cool too (; . ) .
I'm not on gaia too much anymore - ironically, i've been busy working/teaching/dancing at my studio- , but I like to drop by gaia every once in a while

Hi everyone! I'm Mia. I'm 16, and I love to sing, act, and dance a bit.. Musical theatre is pretty much my thing.. I've been dancing nearly my whole life, but the past couple of years, I haven't been taking lessons of any kind, or even been in the theatre much, because I moved and live pretty far from any civilization (it takes litterally 30 min to get to the nearest walmart.)... And I'm homeschooled now, so there's no more drama club for me sad ..... ANYWAYS, I've been taking tap since I was 7. I also did a bit of ballet, traditional greek dancing (against my will), and hiphop... With a few week's worth of lessons of Jazz. I have to say that tap is my favorite because it's different.

Hey. I probably should have done this before i started posting on other threads. I"m SdS. I'm 20. I've been taking dance lessons for 15 years. I've taught tap for 3 years, and i've assisted in tap classes for the passed 6 years. I was in a teaching program that my studio offered and i'm certified to teach ballet, tap and jazz.

Sup, Im Wolf (previous, most well known username) or you can call me Azeem (my real name), I dont care which. Im 18. Im actually not a tap dancer, but I admire the style. I dont do any academy taught styles like ballet or contemporary, etc. Im a street dancer. Ive been dancing for 1 year and 7 months so far now, but Ive been putting alot into that short time, including winning a competition. Im self taught entirely, but Ive definately had my place in the local street scene in this region of my state. As far as actual styles go, Im a B-boy (breakdancer), Popper (and everything that name goes into; popping, robot, waving, tutting, etc are all different, unrelated styles that are commonly, yet incorrectly known as popping.), Krumper, Locker (popping and locking are two very different things, the term pop-locking is incredibly incorrect.) and I mess around with European styles such as Tecktonik, the Melbourne Shuffle and Jumpstyle every once in a while, nothin serious tho. My favorite dance style would have to be B-boying, although Popping is easily my best. As far as other notes go, Im a visual artist, musician and writer and have been doing so my whole life. I guess thats it, -Peace
