Leaving New Convincia you see a large route before you, there are many spots where large grass grows, a cool breeze gently rustles the grass and trees. Looking onward you can see all sorts of wealthy trainers conversing and battling. In the distance you can see a large building with what seems to be some sort of statue of an unrecognizable pokémon.
The pokémon found on this route are 1-25, remember if you get a higher evolution, revert to its youngest state (ie pikachu or raichu becomes pichu) and the rule for finding pkmn is three tries a day.

"Aaah feel that cool breeze Jack?" Candace called breathing deeply waiting for her friend to catch up. "Thats adventure waiting to begin! Helen you ready for this?" She asked her Spheal trying to get her pumped. "Spheal!" Helen replied darkly wanting to fight something. "Than first one to find a pokemon wins one two three go!" Candace said running into the tall grass and Spheal rolled after.

Wait!" But it was already to later, as Candace had run off. He turned to Alpha, "If you see anything, punch it really hard." "Chan." Jack hesitantly entered the tall grass and started seaching for pokemon. (Roll! blaugh )

(auto bots roll out! .....16! Xo fuuuuuuu!) Candace looked through the tall grass like a mad woman when all of a sudden a Pidgey sprang up. "Pidgey!" it cried as it got tangled in Candace's hair. "Ow ow! ow!" Candace cried as she ran around the fowl pokemon freaking out just as much. "Helen do something! anything! ow!" "Spheal! spheaaaaa!' Helen replied rolling to her trainer's aid and then blowing making the air chilly as she used powder snow. The move would have been good if Candace didn't block most of it causing the girl to start shivering. The pidgey finally broke free but was far too tired to fly away and looked at the chilly trainer and Spheal with fearful eyes.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Jack started walking in the direction of the shouting, not noticing the weedle he was about to step on. "Chan!" Alpha pulled Jack backward to protect him. Then attacked the weedle. Punching it and backing away, using his speed and range to beat it down. (sorry about the late reply, computer problems.)

The pidgey noticed the weedle and forgot completely about Helen and Candace. "Pid!" It called as it ran to try and steal away the weedle from Alpha. "Oh no you don't!" Candace said jumping inbetween the two. "Your fight...is with me!" She said a pokeball in her hand ready for use but it used sand-attack on Candace. "AAAAAh I'm blind! I'm blind!" She cried as she let her pokeball fly on accident and it hit the pidgey that was now trying to flee and was captured inside. It rolled back and forth as the pidgey struggled to free itself but Helen jumped on the ball to prevent it from openning. Candace eventually got the sand out of her eyes and saw Helen standing triumphantly one flipper on the Pokeball. "Spheal." she said as it was nothing. "Nice job Helen! How you doing Jack?" Candace asked being able toi at last see again.

Alpha continued to fight the weedle, dancing around it jabbing. The weedle used string shot, causing Alpha to trip up. The weedle, battered and bruised, saw the opening and charged forward with it's head down. Jack took action, the weedle wasn't paying attention to him so he kicked it it the side of the head, finishing it off. "That was more difficult than expected."

"But we did catch our first pokemon!" Candace said in triumphant. "spheal!" Helen said angerily at Candace acting like it was her first pokemon ever. "Oh Helen I didn't techincally catch you but you will still always be my favorite." Candace said petting her Spheal and it clapped with joy. The young trainer picked up the pokeball and pressed the button and released the Pidgey. "pidgey?!" It said confused figuring it had already escaped the trainer and when it turned to see Candace it shudder afraid. 'pidgey! pid!" "Calm down I'm not going to hurt you besides I think you did more damage to my eyes than I did to you." Candace said rubbing her eyes again. "Pidgey?" The Pidgey asked amazed it could do so much damage to something so big. "You sure did little bud reminds me of a great explorer who blinded a giant Dusclops to save his crew!" Candace covering one eye and becoming more theatrical in the tell of her story as the Pidgey stared with wonder enthralled and wanting to hear what else happened. "The man was smart like you too, he didn't tell the Dusclops his name but gave a fake one! Nohbdy! so when the Dusclops called out for help they thought Nobody had blinded him!" "Pidgey!" the pidgey cried flying in circles repeating its cry like a chant as if saying nobody over and over. "That shall be your name from hence forth you shall be Nohbdy!" Candace declared. The Pidgey landed on her hand and nodded that the name was good for him. "Then Nohbdy return!" She said recalling the pidgey. "Thats two now! Did you just knock out that weedle?!" Candace asked looking at the weedle now laying twitching. (dude that poor weedle! XD he got straight jumped! XD)

Jack nodded,"Yeah, I don't want an insect to be helping me. If I find something with more potential, I'll catch that." Jack looked at the weedle with distaste, then at Alpha, who had untangled himself annd was jumping around in celebration of his victory. (I know, poor guy had to fight a Hitmonchan. :3 )

As Kanna stepped onto the route, she chose not to look back at the town, in fear of chickening out. In the beginning, she enjoyed the comfortable silence, but it soon grew quite creepy. There were trainers around, and the breeze felt nice, but she was starting to feel intimidating. She purposely avoided the tall grass, instead, preferring to stay on the road. But luck wasn't on her side. Or rather, her pokemon wasn't on her side. Madras, in a sudden burst of wonder, had heard something and gone into the grass. Kanna had continued to walk, but stopped when the soft sounds of her pokemon along side her disappeared. "M-madras?" She turned around and backtracked a few steps, following the soft rustling, and absentmindedly walked into the tall grass. "Madras?" she repeated, softer this time.

Kanna continued following the soft rustling sounds, and flinched as she accidentally nudged something small and hard. She immediately looked down in bewilderment, expecting to see Madras, but saw a Rattata instead. What was she supposed to do? What could she do? "M-madras? Where a-are you?" she called out, in hopes of not being singlehandedly beat up by a pokemon smaller than she was. The Rattata did not look very happy at being nudged, and was angrily glaring at her. Kanna instinctively took a step back, and wanted to run when the Rattata took a step forward and rushed forward to Tackle her, but decided that the idea was not a smart one. She moved out of the way and ran to the other side, switching spots with the pokemon. 'I should have just waited for Madras to come out of the grass...'
By chance, however, Madras decided to go back to his owner, and strolled in behind the Rattata. He stared at his owner trembling in front of a Rattata., telling her that 'she was a coward' with a long, blank stare. Kanna scowled at the expression, before snapping in fear at him, "Stop with that look!" But she quickly composed herself. It wouldn't do any good to make her pokemon angry at her. She tried a better approach: "D-don't just stand there Madras! I need help." Sure, it was just a Rattata, but Kanna was new to this. She wasn't sure what to do with that pokemon baring it's teeth at her. She looked desperately at her Trapinch, which seemed to be waiting for her to say something. What, an attack name? What attacks did a Trapinch know?
Kanna searched through her mind, squinting her eyes shut for a few seconds. Had Madras given any hints? She thought back to when she met him, and absentmindedly touched her hair. Suddenly, her eyes widened and she let go of her hair. "Madras, Bite! ....Please." After the command disguised as a polite request was given, Madras did what was asked, clamping down on the Rattata's tail, to the surprise on the pokemon who was focused on the girl. Kanna did a victory dance inwardly, applauding her quick thinking. She had remembered when Madras had bitten her hair back when she was carrying him, leading to her conclusion that Bite was one of the moves he knew. 'So now what? Do I finish the fight?'
The answer was given to her without any input from her whatsoever. After Madras thought the pokemon had gone through enough pain, he had let go of the Rattata's tail, and the Rattata immediately fled, with Kanna staring after it. After a few seconds of quiet, dumbfounded silence, she turned to Madras with a soft smile. "Good job." She was surprised the both of them had come out unharmed. Or rather, her rather disheveled from fright, with her Trapinch by her side staring at her like she was an idiot. Kanna indignantly blew a stray piece of hair away from her face before speaking. "I wouldn't have been in such a situation, if you had stayed by my side," she said with a pout, before giggling a little from excess adrenaline and anxiety.

"Lets keep at it then." Jack said cheerfully, "I would like to catch something good before we head for the next gym owner. He started shuffling though the grass with Alpha close behind him. "Come on little pokemon, I'm not gonna hurt you... much." He grinned at Alpha. "Hitmon!" Alpha was confident that he could beat anything that crossed him or his owner, that last fight had been a good warmup.

After Kanna believed she had calmed down enough, she stood up and looked around. Where was the road again? 'Ah, there it is.' She picked up Madras to make sure he wouldn't go anywhere again and headed for the road. Luckily, she didn't bump or hit or nudge any pokemon, and she sighed in relief when she got to the edge of the grass.
Kanna stepped onto the road again and followed it a bit, keeping her eyes on the ground. As more green appeared on the ground beneath her, she began to scowl. No way. The road was blocked with tall grass? She didn't want to go through another battle! She then felt a tugging on her hair and turned her head slightly to see Madras biting her hair again. Kanna sighed before putting Madras on the grass. "Don't go anywhere..." He walked into the grass. "...again." She followed after her pokemon hesitantly, cautious not to bother any more pokemon.

Alpha suddenly stopped Jack, "What?" "chan." Alpha gestured forward with a fist, revealing a squirtle. "Nice one Alpha!" The squirtle whipped around, hearing Jack. It then sprayed water at them. Alpha charged forward and started jabbing at it, having more trouble with the squirtle because of it's shell. "Hey Candace, you're gonna want to see this."

Rustling from behind her. Kanna sighed in defeat and slowly turned around, hoping for the best. She stared dubiously at her feet, waiting for something to come out. The rustling had stopped, and she didn't see anything. Had she gotten lucky? A blur came and went in front of her eyes, to behind her. She turned around quickly, and looked down, only to see her Trapinch in a strong hold from two vines. Kanna quickly followed the vines with her eyes and saw a Bulbasaur glaring at her Trapinch. Madras didn't look very happy with the fact that the vines were around him, and tried to bite them to no avail. The vines were quickly retracted after a while, and the Bulbasaur glared at her Trapinch as if to challenge it. 'Really? Again?'
