An enormous city, destroyed, forgotten, hidden in the shadows. People come here once they hear of its stories and mysteries. Some people disappear here. This, we call "home". It is the only home we have ever known. We are outcasts....OUTSIDERS....no one knows we are here....except us.

Dawn and Kayde had been here forever. Brother and Sister, they are inseparable.
"Race you to the house, “calls Kayde.
"Bet I'll win again!," Dawn laughs, “I always do!"
"Not this time,” Kayde whispers, “I’m ready."
"One,” starts Dawn.
"Two,” continued Kayde.
"Three!” They scream.
The race began!
Kayde's long brown hair flowed behind her as she sprinted faster than ever. Up and down stairs, under bridges, and through long hallways they ran until they reached their destination: a large house which, after the attack, was mostly intact. Kayde opened the door, slammed it shut, and put the bolt in place. Dawn reached the door seconds later.
"I win!" Kayde yelled from inside.
"C'mon! Let me in!” Dawn complained.
"What’s the password?” Kayde inquired.
At this time Dawn mutters something unintelligible.
"Fine.” Kayde sighs, and unlocks the bolt.

Her knees held her chin while Ai watched the sky. Everyday it gone harder to find the girl, but that was only because she didn't want to find again. The sky was something she wish she could be apart of. Someday she wanted to go up and look down on the world and see it new eyes.
With a sigh, she got up and skipped down the hill, heading back to her home, even though few called it that, she was happy there. With her found family. The walk always made her think back to when she first learned that she was alone in the world.
Back when she was Crystal, though that name didn't last long. It didn't mean much to her anymore, no since she gave herself the name of something she had always wanted.
Ai looked up from her feet, there it was, a small fall in rock building that she called home. It wasn't perfect, but that was fine with her. It was away from those that didn't care for her like the family,

Dawn opened the door and looked around. Kayde was telling her famous stories to Matthew. She always told him tales of far-away-lands and flying lions or mythical beasts. Matthew sat criss-cross looking up at Kayde.
Aaron was in his usual corner. It was a cozy spot. A couch cushion with a few holes in it was what he usually laid on. There were piles of books next to him. Almost like a wall protecting him. Dawn trudged over to Matthew and sat with him on the carpet. As he listened, he imagined he were one of the heroes in Kaydes Fables. As the time passed, his eyes grew heavy, until he fell asleep.
