They traind side by side seeing each other preogress in abilities, but when the time came, Mimiko wone, becoming captain of the 13 squad. A few years later Kuroki Got promoted. After serving time they Took a few years off for vacation in the soul society. Kuroki missed his vice Bon Bon, so they came back a few years earliey.
