The development of a character can be done in many ways. Through speech, actions, reactions, thoughts, past history and several other ways. For the most part in role-play a character becomes a character through all the many ways and are developed fully through role-play, it isn't as simple as trying to describe their personality in their profile because they take on a life of their own- at least, the good ones do.
It isn't enough to say a character is manipulative, nor is it enough to say a character is 'good' or open-minded. This thread will be used to help both new role-players and old role-players get into character and further develop their character. Because, despite the fact that teens change during this time of life, they will still have developed a personality from their past and through their outlook on the future. Take the time to further explain your character's past, edit and add on, and use it to develop them.
As well, in this thread we'll be making suggestions to make the posts better through adding senses- You character lives and breathes! If the room is dank they should know! If it smells of onion they should know! Don't just give us what they see and (through conversation) what they hear, it's the little details which make a big difference.
