The world of light sits quietly for the first time in a long while. Its beauty shines brightly in its everlasting glow of life that surrounds everything within the world including a petite girl that sits inside the library of the castle that stands tall in the center of this beautiful world. Her long blond hair spills around her on the floor from months of not cutting it. And she seems to be entranced in the world that the thousands of books have pulled her into.
Katherine, in a soft blue summer dress awaits in her castle for the people she had lost contact with for such a long time. It was important for her to stay put, where those that she love to come find her where she knew they could find her. And where she can hope to keep her world safe.

"It's been a long time, Kathrine." Heru said walking up to the castle of the land, his cape fluttering in the light breeze. "Knock knock." He mutters, opening the large doors to the castle and entering the main room. Clothes currently worn.

Head shooting up to the sudden noise of doors opening, Katherine stands, a knife appearing in both her hands as the book she held dropped. Long strands of hair laid in her face but it seemed to no affect her as she quietly made her way out of the library.
Closing her eyes, Kat felt calm. Not as though an intruder had come into her home but someone else. Someone she knew... Her faded blue eyes lit up and she ran towards the front room, hoping that her senses were still as sharp as always.

Feeling the vibrations of someone approaching Heru quickly turned towards Kathrine and smiled. "Kathrine, how have you been?" He said when she entered his field of vision.

Dropping the knives to the floor with a clang, Katherine quickly hugged Heru, "Heru! It's soooo good to see you! It's been so long!" Smiling, she didn't answer his inquiry until she finally stopped hugging him. "I am fine, a bit lonely in this large castle, alone for so long."
Kat looked over him for a moment, her feeling of loneliness slowly leaving her, before hugging her friend again, "Thank you for coming and visiting"

"It's good to see you too." He returns the hugs and moves over to pick up the knives. "Expecting company?" He said examining the knives.

Shrugging she took one of the two knives from him and it melted in her hands, "You know me, demons don't see to stop coming around me. Yet it's been months since any attack. It worries me a bit, makes me anxious and paranoid."
Kat went and sat down onto one of the plush chairs in the room. The room itself had stained glass here in there in the window's, allowing an odd prism affect on the room, tinting the white walls different colors depending on how the sun hit. "So where have you been lately? I hope you have been in good health and good luck."

"Ah, I figured the demons would have stopped coming here after this place changed..." Heru stared up at the stained glass windows, looking distant.
After a few seconds he sat on a seat next to Kathrine. "Kathrine, I need something from you..."

The light in the irises of Katherine's eyes faded at this. She looked away and nodded, "I see. So this is not just a visit of old friends." A small figure poked his head into the main room and then left quickly. "Zachary still remembers you, I believe. He looks more like Kyu now." The comment was quick, passing, an afterthought that Katherine spoke as she looked up at the ceiling.

Michael, half dead and bleeding copiously, hobbles up to the main gates of the castle and leans on them heavily. He manages to pull his non-mangled hand from his cloak and pound on it as hard as he can.

Before Heru has a chance to go on with what he has to say, Katherine hears a banging at the doors. She stands, her too long hair dragged behind her as she walked, quickly, to the door. The knife that had melted in her hands was solid and poised for attack, now. When Kat was only a couple of feet away from the doors she waved her hand and the wind open the big, heavy doors.
"Michael!" Her eyes widened at the sight of the one that had been there when her love had not. "Nurses! Come, quick!" moments after the command three women dressed in white sun dresses came and, taking one look at the man, gasped in horror.

Michael falls to the ground, his blood staining the carpet. "Please..." He says painfully. "Help me." At those words, he falls unconscious.

Katherine, forgetting about Heru entirely now, caught Micheal before he fell. The nurses place him on a bed that one of them had conjured and rush him towards the medical wing. She began to ran after them but then remembered about Heru, "I'm sorry, can we talk in a bit? I'll need your help healing Micheal." Not even waiting for a response, Kat rushes off towards the medical wing. Gracefully running as her hair dragged behind her. The often clumsy girl had changed a great deal in such a short time.

After the initial patching up, Michael is laying there, eyes open and in pain. His right arm is broken and slashed open, his chest had completely shattered, and both his left leg was almost irreparably broken. Other than that, it was all just scratches on his face and left arm. "I am surprised I am alive.
