Okay, I wasn't going to make a gallery, but I've changed my mind. I'm going to aim for maybe a post a day, maybe more, maybe less. I always appreciate critiques, because I always need to improve. So, I'm 17, and I've got 5-6 months to go until I'm 18 and I can really try to kick off the career I'm aspiring towards - tattooing. I love tattoos, especially the really beautiful ones, and I love the symbolism and meanings hidden behind each piece of art. I love the way that, even if everyone in the world had tattoos, the fact that the possibilities for tattoos are endless would mean that every tattoo would be different, or would mean different things, and each tattoo would remain unique. I currently am a tattoo virgin, simply because I want to follow the guidelines to a T and wait until it's actually legal. I already have the tattoo design in mind, along with its meaning. c: Obviously, before my 18th, I really have to get my bum into gear and improve on my art, so I tend to doodle a lot. Anyway, I'll stop here before the text wall gets any bigger. TL;DR: I'm 17, I love tattoos. : D

For this piece, I just got a huge urge to draw a mermaid, so I grabbed the opportunity and went for it. The only thing I referenced was the waves, as I wanted to draw them in the typical Japanese style that you often see in tattoos. Her hands are far too small and I need to work on hair, but other than those flaws I was pretty happy with this c: EDIT: Whoops, stretched the page D:

This is one of my most recently coloured...things, though I drew it out quite a while ago. The ProMarkers I used didn't have a shade between the darkest blue (Indigo) and the lighter blue (sky), so it doesn't look as good as it could have.

I don't know if any of you are Final Fantasy fans, but this is Gurdy from FF XII c: I don't really have much else to say about it, except to say that critique is always welcome on any of my posts - you might mention something bad about it that I haven't noticed myself xD

Here's my pet Yorkshire Terrier, Milly. I drew this for my mum for her birthday, as it's her favourite photo of her. To get a better quality view, click the picture, which will take you to my Deviantart page. c: (I'm not too great at drawing fur yet - any tips, anyone? :3)

This is my Khajiit character in Oblivion, finally coloured hours and hours and hours later. I drew her at 12am or something stupid like that - I really felt like drawing her, so I just grabbed my stuff and...drew. : P

I very recently realised that the effort that I put into my art has been going downhill lately, so I decided to revamp my old koi drawing and make it into a bigger and better piece. c: Drawn with pigment liners, colouring pencils and a bit of ProMarker for the koi's darkest scales. Thanks for the critiques so far! c:

1. Your skill in art is to die for. 2. Oblivion, Morrowind, and the Fallout games are my favorites for life. 3. I always play as a Khajiit in both Oblivion and Morrowind as well. 4. Did I mention that It looks so lifelike? I can almost visualize her slitting the throat of an un-suspecting highwayman... (buncha' thieves!)

It's like there is an altered dimension through the surface of the water.
