Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

]The New Orleans Saints at The Seattle Seahawks-The Seahawks are the team of the decade to talk about, 7-9 division winner. But the Saints are Superbowl Champions. This game if you can call it that is going to rely on the Seahawks playing good offense.

The New York Jets at The Indianapolis Colts-The New York Jets do have a winning record against the Colts in the playoffs. Now the Colts have a little weakness. Peyton can't throw for 50 attempts against the Jets D. So Rex Ryan will love it.

The Baltimore Ravens at The Kansas City Chiefs-The Chiefs should have rested their QB early last week, while the Ravens have a good D. IF the Chiefs want to win the game they must play good D

The Green Bay Packers at The Philadelphia Eagles-This one is a toss up to me. Vick vs Rodgers. Both are very different. Both are good QB's. But this game is going to the Defense to see if you can psych out your opponet.

All season we've waited, our faces are painted, the playoffs are HERE! It's the most wonderful time of the year!

New Orleans at Seattle- Three elements which could lead to a Seattle upset are 1. Home field advantage which Seattle is one of thee hardest home stadiums to play in for a visiting team, 2. major injuries to key players on the Saints team. And three more momentum for the Seahawks going into the playoffs than the Saints. Good arguments for one to go with Seattle, but I still have to go with the Saints.
WINNER- NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

N.Y. Jets at Indianapolis- A rematch of last years AFC championship game, the Jets backed into the playoffs compliments of a Jaguars loss in week 16, while the Colts are hot. Even with their injuries they have not only stepped it up to make a record tying 9th consecutive playoff appearance, but did so with a much improved run game to compliment their passing attack. I doubt the Colts will return to the Superbowl, but they have what it takes to make it pass Wild Card Weekend.
WINNER- INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Baltimore at Kansas City- The Chiefs haven't won a playoff game since Joe Montana was their QB back in 1995. They are young and have so much potential, but against the veteran Ravens squad, who has the best road playoff record in the last 10 seasons I don't see them pulling out a victory. That and the Ravens are chomping at the bit for a rematch against the Patriots. That alone is fuel to get them past this round.
WINNER- BALTIMORE RAVENS

Green Bay at Philadelphia- A rematch from week 1. The Eagles started that game with Kolb at QB, this time they are riding Vick start to finish (If he can stay healthy) But he has been struggling against the blitz, throwing 6 INT in his last 4-5 games. And the Packers defense has allowed an average of only 10 points per game in their last 4. I like Rodgers an the Packers to steal the show.
WINNER- GREEN BAY PACKERS

Recap- Saints, Colts, Ravens, Packers
