So I'm at this mini concert at a Much Music (this Canadian television station) and Katy's there! There are only about seventy people, and in the middle of the tiny crowd, is Katy and her band! The T.V. show aired live and during commercial breaks, she went out into the crowd to sign some autographs. I'm waiting for her to finish up and come over to my area and there are these girls I don't know standing beside me, yelling, "Katy! Come to the back! Katy! Katy! Come to the back!" (we were behind the band). They kept yelling in sync and finally, Katy looks over, her lovely pale blue eyes staring right at me, and with a slightly ticked off look, she mouths out the words, "Hold on!" So. I wasn't surprised when after the whole show was over, she never came to the back. On the plus side, she was absolutely fantastic and she said we could have the giant cardboard candies from her "Candyfornia" set! It was chaos but I got away with a giant cardboard candy roll!
