Bio: Veronika cryptmaw was born into no coven with a vampire father and human mother. So small and fragile, they hid her from all those who would bring harm. Several years later when Veronika was five, Arturo started to see the changes within her and consulted with Ruby. Although it pained them both, the time has come to go their seperate ways. The next day came by too soon and Arturo picked up his sleeping daughter. At the door to the house they have been living in, Ruby hugs them both and wishes them to be well. Veronika began to speak a month after their departure. Slowly, she developed skills that couldn't be understood and he was surprised. No questions were ever asked of her mother and they were always traveling, never staying in one place too long. There was word going around of dead vampires two years later. Arturo was teaching Veronika how to fight when a vampire showed up. She came to tell her father they needed more members of their coven to prevent more killings. Arturo decided to join them only if Veronika could have a part as well. So for the next four years they served in the Roseblood coven, protecting the vampire kids and hunting for food. Veronika was eleven now and she rarely saw her own father. She was in charge of all the little vampire children which always left her tired at the end of the day. Arturo had been out and fighting off enemies along with several others. One night three years later he came to see Veronika who was getting ready to sleep. He told her that whatever happened in tommorrows battle, he would always be her father and that if anything happened she would be strong. The next day was the battle and out the window of the castle you could see dead vampires. There was a lot of blood and fire going around which made it hard to tell who was winning. The battle ended and it turns out their coven was victorious because Arturo sacrificed himself. Something inside Veronika snapped and for the next couple months she refused to acknowledge anyone. The coven leader came to Veronika one day and told her that the funeral was about to start. The funeral ended with that Arturo Cryptmaw would always be remembered as a hero. That night, Veronika left the coven without informing them and set out on her own. She still doesn't know anything of her mother but starts to wander what she was like. What Veronika doesn't know is that her mother Ruby is still alive.
