The tables are set up for a diner, Music is playing in the background. food is your typical new year's feast/buffet. There is also a whole table filled with desserts and pastries.

Kyo looked around sniffing the air every now and then as new scents came to her. At the smell of food her stomach grumbled loudly and she winced a bit.
Werewolves had incredibly fast metabolisms-it was why she hunted and ate(in both forms) though she looked human if she ate like one she'd most likely starve.
She wasn't usually this careless. But she hadn't been feeling that hungry lately(never mind the fact that her stomach was now growling like a wolf itself) And-for the same reason, she didn't really feel like eating now.
Kyo sighed as she looked around noticing most students interact in what she supposed were the rituals for new years. While she'd come to New Moon to see what life was like outside her home at this point she missed them terribly. She'd been crying for days now and couldn't stop thinking of everything her pack would be doing for new year's-they had always celebrated it as far back as she could remember and she knew if she were back home she'd be helping get things ready along with her siblings and cousins.
And seeing everyone act like a pack of their own? Not helping!
She pushed the food around still not eating it not wanting anyone to approach her at the moment.

Arsalan walked into the room surveying it and taking in everything his wife and youngest son was beside him . So this is the famous Blue Moon" he said looking thoughtful.

Arielle stood by her mate scanning the room with feline looking eyes"I don't see Aslan anywhere" she said looking slightly troubled.

Arsalan smiled "Don't worry about him. He's a Pryde. He's probably with Tora and Aiden on his way here" he said smiling at her revealing sharp looking canines. "Let's find a table"

Aslan walked inside followed by Tora and Aiden.
"I can't believe we're having the whole family here" he said rolling his eyes with a small smile.

"I know it's insane" Tora said already dreading the huge get together of the Pryde-Willart clan.
Well Pride to be more exact.

"I can't wait to see everyone" Aiden said with a grin and with that he transformed into his fox form and went ahead.

Kyo's ears twiched when she heard Aslan's name. Though she didn't now the person that said it.
The scent of Ash as well as his cousins reached her though she did nothing to show she was aware of this.

Aslan spotted Kyo tilting his head to the side in thought as he noticed she looked a bit off.
"Hey Kyo" he said walking up to her table,offering a smile.

Aiden rushed to his family's table. Shifting back to his human form and giving his aunt and uncle a smile.
"you guys made it!..where's everyone else?"

Arsalan smiled at thee fox shifter ruffling his hair affectionately and laughing lightly when the boy tried to duck away.
"They're coming" he said leading them to their table. "They said they'd meet us here"
Tora stared after Ash for a moment before joining the rest of her family. She hugged Arielle, rubbing her head against Sunny's(the baby) in an affectionate manner.
"I think Aslan may be a while" she said taking a seat
"Yeah he's with this girl he likes.." Aiden started before a look from his sister shut him up.

"Hey Aslan" Kyo said trying not to show the state she was in. She thought she did a pretty good job too. Even if her voice wasn't as cheery as usual.
"Um,,I-I thought you were staying at home until New Year's was over"
At the mention of new year's she felt another stab of pain, though she hid it well.

Aslan smiled "I was" he said "but apparently our family heard so much about Blue Moon they decided to come and celebrate new Years here" he shrugged laughing a bit.
"You could come meet them if you want" he said "my brothers are coming too..it'll be a bit hectic but.." he babbled on when Kyo didn't answer right away.

Kyo closed her eyes. Aslan's get together reminding him too much of her own.
She shook her head unable to say much.

Leith walked inside sitting on a table near Arsalan and the rest.
"Hey pops" he said with a grin as Lux sat next to him with a silght roll f her eyes (kitty sat on her lap)
He turned in Aslan's direction with a glint in his eyes.
"Leith..." his mother cautioned.
"OI ROMEO, COURTING TIME"S OVER GET OVER HERE!"
Tora and Aiden burst out laughing while Arielle shook her head at her son.

Aslan flinched at his brother's remark. Looking away t hide the blush that had spread on his face.
"O-ok then" he said trying not to show his disapointment that Kyo couldn't come.
"Well, we're the real big family east of you if you change your mind" he saiid before snarling deep in annoyance "now if you excuse me I have an older brother to maul"
With that he stalked off leaving Kyo's table and making the quickest way to his family's table.

it seemed that the table Tora's family was at was right near the house Yuri was ontop of because it was outside " its getting quite cold " Yuri said as she jumped of the roof and landed perfectly and soon was walking home
