Nestled gently in the plains lies the city of technology, Rikuayazashi. Twenty years have passed since the city was destroyed and the site of a grand battle. Now rebuilt, the city is once again thriving on its technology. Steam technology has greatly advanced and the starts of electricity are beginning. The city was originally split into four distinct districts, but after the events of twenty years ago, a fifth has been added.
1. Academy District
This is the newest and second biggest district in all of Rikuayazashi. This is the location of the Academy and the small town known as Academy Drive. The campus itself is huge, covering most of the district. Just outside the Academy is a small town within a town. Within it is the Campus Market where students can auction off their belongings. A small coffee house, and other small shops.
2. Marketplace
Just outside of the Academy District is the Marketplace. This is the biggest district in Rikuayazashi and one of the busiest. The marketplace consists of mostly stalls and booths where members of the lower quarter come to work. Since the rebuilding of Rikuayazashi, a few bakeries and Taverns have been added on to the district but mechanics are still the main group of workers. All festivals are held here in Rikuayazashi and are quite the site.
3. Lower Quarter
Since the building of the Academy District, this district has become the third biggest. This is where the lower and middle class live. Small brick houses line the red brick streets through the Lower Quarter.
4. Royal Quarter
Up a long flight of white marbled steps lies the Royal Quarter. "Heavens Ascent" Leads right into the northern end of the Marketplace and straight up to Royal Quarter. Here, Town houses, mansions, even the Royal Librarium are located. After the attacks on Royal Quarter twenty years ago, the place has pretty much become a gated community. Not many leave Royal Quarter and only Students and Royals are allowed in. The Royal Science Academy has long since grown and is now under the loving care of Dr. Kobayashi
5. The Back Alley
Deep within the Lower Quarter lies the back alley. This desolate area is full of massive machinery and old run down shacks. This district is responsible for powering the city with it's massive steam generators and underground service tunnels. The district has shaped up a bit more after the attacks but is still home to rogues and rebels. Students are not permitted in the Back Alley.
